I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Additionally, asking for a specific medication will make most doctors suspicious and they won't want to prescribe anything. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? That would probably be the easiest way to find the help you need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I am a 32 year old male that was recently in a very bad car accident and has had issues in the past with narcotics. I need to find a Dr in il that will p...
Where can i fill my Buprenorphine prescription in Morristown, TN? ## Where can I fill my suboxone in morristown TN? ## Did u ever find a place to fill your prescription? ## I need a Dr that takes my amerigroup insurance that can be my service provider and take time to help me with my lower back pain with a narcotic medication.
I have only been on suboxone for 4 days (8mg 1 time a day). It's my first time taking sub's. It's been 12 hours. I went to the hospital and they said I have kidney stones. I'm in a lot of pain. They gave me 10 mg norcos. I'm not looking to feel high just want pain relief. Please advise. ## Hello, Hope! How are you? Oh, I understand, I had a kidney stone a few years ago, and it was horrible. It usually takes about 3 days (72 hours), before other opiates will be effective for you, again, after taking Suboxone for a few days. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Did they give you anything at the hospital? IE: I mean while you were there to ...
I don't take suboxones. I'm on parole for 7 years and i failed a urine test today for this drug. Is there a way that it can be in an ingredient of food or drinks? ## Never heard of anything causing a false positive for subs. Have you taken anything partying or the like? The only reason I ask is because subs and subutex come in many different forms so you could've been told u were taking something else but in fact taking bupe! ## Yo I just had the same problem I'm also on parol and my urine test just came back postive for subs... I've never ever takin a sub a single day in my life or have ever done drugs...im on parol for duis... why would this stupid drug randomly show up in my pee test??
Need to know is there a OTC pill that looks like a rectangular methadone 10? ## Why? Are you getting called in for a pill count? And I researched your question and the answer is NO! Sorry I couldn't help. ## That is correct, if someone is familiar with prescription medications and how they look, especially the one they are checking, then you aren't going to find anything that exactly matches to fool them. Prescription drugs have unique imprints on them to enable their identification and they are specific to that medication, dosage form, dosage and manufacturer, so there is nothing over the counter that's going to match. Learn more Methadone details here. Are there any other questions? ## The 5 (green) and 10 mg ( yellow) are round and small ....the 25 mg look like Tylenol pi...
I need to know if there is a brand name Methadone veris generic. I have been told that it is all the same. PLEASE HELP ## What that means is that the active ingredient in the tablets, in this case Methadone, is the same in all of them! It doesn't differ between the generic and the name brand. The name brand for Methadone would be Dolophine. Do you have any other questions? ## Yes, in Alberta it's called Metadol , Blue Cross pays hundreds every month , I pay $25.00 a month for 3 x a day of 25 mg pills. I couldn't afford it without Blue Cross.
Do they make a fifteen milligram methadone pill ## No, the pill form is only available in 5, 10 and 40mg doses. As a matter of fact, I'm not seeing a 15mg listed in any of the dosage forms. Are you currently on Methadone? ## Depends on where you are I would say. In Calgary I get 25 mg pills from Shopper's Drug Mart so I don't have to take so many tiny 5-10 mg pills. They will order anything if they know you will get it filled there. They need some advance notice but they know it's a standing order now so now it's no problem. They don't make the pills at the pharmacy so it's where ever they order it from and many places have the 25 mg pills. In Mexico, 2012 they had no idea at the hospital or pharmacies what methadone even was and found nothing on line so you ...
Receptor blocker gone by now after taking only 2mg at 8this morning of silicone with it being now 230??? ## Hello, Coco! How are you? I'm sorry, but it seems that autocorrect was having fun with you, so I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Did you mean Suboxone and Methadone? Can you please post back and clarify? For the record, if anyone is curious, it takes about 72 hours, after taking Suboxone, or Subutex, for other opiates to be effective, again. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
I am on a very low dose of methadone now. My doctor is terrified to increase it. It's obvious I need more but I'm a bit skeptical to of this leading to a never ending rise. But I'm topping up and I'm sick and in pain. He seems terrified to prescribe anything though. Are all docs like this or just some? I also have very bad problems with anxiety ruining my life. Nightmares, ptsd, etc. A pharmacist said I should be on klonopin for the night mares and the night pains. But that's another drug he won't hear of giving me. Am I with the wrong guy? Or am I with the sensible one stopping me from going down a bad road? Confused right now. Want to alleviate pain and suffering quickly but don't want to risk a worse addiction later. Please help anyone. Anything would help...
Updated in MethadoneI've been having problems with my methadone. I am taking it to get off of painkillers so i have a few questions and would love some feedback asap. So i just started the methadone clinic 3 weeks ago and I've made it up to 70 mgs. Well first it's very weird but since about 40 mgs my lower back is in severe pain and it's a pain I can't really explain. It's like it feels it's stretching my lower back muscles but tightening them at the same time. Why is this happening? Also when I take a deep breath my back maybe behind my lungs is like a bruise pain or soreness but it is in my back, any thoughts? Last one is I can't seem to urinate like I did before. It takes me couple minutes to start my flow, and have constipation. What can i do to help my bladder and go nu...
I'm on suboxone right now and want to switch to subutex because I'm afraid if there is ever an emergency and I need surgery suboxone will be a huge issue. ## Hello, Ashalee! How are you? I'm afraid they will not let you switch for such a reason. The risk of that ever happening is very low, but if someone is being treated for addiction, there is a fairly big risk that they may abuse other drugs, while being treated, thus Suboxone is the preferred choice. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Need rapid opiate detox frm 75mcg Fentanyl Patch/72 hrs & 10/325mg Percocet per 6 hrs as needed. Its getting ho...

Looking for dr with maintenance license near Charleston wv instead of paying cash at clinic for chronic pain ## Hello, Shena! How are you? Under current FDA law, private practice doctor's are not allowed to prescribe Methadone for addiction, or maintenance treatment. Only medical professionals that are specially trained to treat with it are allowed to do so, and only in a clinical medical setting. They can prescribe it for pain, but if someone has ever gone to a clinic and been treated with it, regardless of whether or not it was for addiction treatment, or pain, that is listed in your medical records and regular PCPs, or pain management professionals are not allowed to prescribe it. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as...
I wasn't able to afford my regularly prescribed 2 subutex this past Friday. My doctor gave me prescription for Zubsolv along with a coupon for 15 free to get me through till I could afford my subutex the following week. The zubsolv is making me extremely sick. I feel nauseous, sick to my stomach, lite headed and just not myself at all. I hate it to the point I'm only taken 1 zubsolv a day just so I'm not super sick in DTs. My question is??? I took a Zubsolv this morning at 7am and its now 5:30pm. I'm starting to feel very sick. I have a subutex and was wondering if it be safe for me to take a piece of it to make me feel better? I can't take zubsolv anymore I can't stand the way it makes me feel and the sick feeling that goes along with it the throughout the day. ...
Do these doctors prescribe methodone? I know someone that has used street drugs most their life. They need a doctor who can prescribe methodone! ## Hello, Margie! How are you? This website does not prescribe, nor sell any medications, it is an information only resource, I'm sorry. Under current U.S. law, Methadone can only be prescribed to treat addiction by someone specially trained in it's use, and it must be done in a clinical setting. So, while it may be expensive and inconvenient, a Methadone clinic is the only option. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Suboxone might be something to consider, since it doesn't require daily clinic visits. Is this pe...
Went for my 3 month follow up and near end of appt. Dr. showed me my urine test and accused me of taking Opana and Morphine sulfate at the same time. I have been on Morphine sulfate for years but it hasn't been helping much anymore. Dr. prescribed Opana. As soon as I filled it I took what ever Morphine Sulphate I had and stored it away. I never touched it. When the Opana ran out 3 months later and I went to fill it the pharmacist said it would be $900.00 because I fell in the donut hole. I'm on SSD. I called the doctor and asked if we could switch back to the Morphine sulphate and I would drive him back the Opana script, he had no problem with that. So knowing I still had leftover Morphine I took it as it was prescribed before. In fact I'm supposed to take it every 8 hrs but...
My daughter has been on Methadone for almost 3 years they told her that she would only have to be on it a month to six weeks and they would bring her back down off of it detox her and they didn't so she tried to take herself off the methadone and was taking Adderall and drinking Red Bull everyday she wound up in a mental ward talking crazy delusional will my daughter come back to reality ## Hello, Theresa! How is your daughter doing? Has there been any change? Only the doctors are going to be able to let you know if there's an possibility of that. It will really depend on whether or not she's suffered permanent mental damage, or not, according to the NIH. As reported by the FDA, the Adderall carries as much of a risk of being habit forming as Methadone, plus since it is a st...

Hi I'm opioid dependent. My boyfriend and I take at least 20 to 24 mg of dilaudids within a 24 hour period. If we miss, we get sick. We're starting methadone tomorrow and plan on quitting this dangerous addiction. Because me (not my boyfriend), I get very anxious when i feel an abnormal symptom (usually it's nothing). So my question is: I usually take an 8 mg dilaudid with my boyfriend. I am wondering if we're actually taking 4 mg each. Seems logical. And I changed my dose because I wanna get off of it on my own without having to take methadone so I started going down by sharing two 4's mg with my boyfriend. Not much of a difference but I started to wonder if we were actually reducing. Then I switched to 2 mg. first I started taking 6mg (three 2 mg) and reduced to tw...
Updated in DilaudidsHow long after taking an 8/2 suboxone strip do you need to wait prior to administering morphine or opiates? I understand that naloxone has a very short half-life, whereas buprenorphine's is very long. Two main concerns, one more pressing than the other: 1) will the opiate have any effect after 24-36 hrs since dosing with 8/2 sub strip? 2) will administering the opiate after 24-36 hrs (as above) cause precipitated withdrawal? - This is the, ah "pressing concern" I mentioned. I'm unable to acquire any suboxone for a couple of days (financial reasons) however the offer of an alternative opiate (e.g. morphine) has been made available to me. Serious replies to my query only, if you please. I'm facing a long weekend without suboxone, and have to work & study. Thanking ...
