Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I'm newly on methadone and have not been to a dentist in years :( Anyway, turns out I need to get 2 fillings. What happens when the patient is on methadone? Will the anaesthetic still work as normal to prevent pain? What about pain afterwards? Or if it turned out I needed more treatment? What can someone on methadone be given for pain relief for what I imagine would be 4-7 days worth?

I have a little different situation. I was put on suboxone because of pain however, after being on it for a little less than a year I've decided to go off of it because it is not giving me much pain relief. I'm down to 1-2MG a day. Do I need to completely be off of it before I start something else? I haven't taken any for 2 days. I have Tylenol 3 that I want to start and I don't want to start to soon if I need to wait longer for the suboxone to leave my system. ## You can take the Tylenol 3 right after suboxone- you won't feel it and it will not make you sick. I live in Kokomo, IN. I was on subs, but they require way to many na/as meetings. I have a full time job and 2 kids to look after. I heard there is a doc in Carmel that doesn't make you do these classes. I just need the medication cause I've been addicted to opiates for almost 20 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Most of the places I've tried make you find your own counselor which can be super expensive and difficult to get an appointment or else they won't prescribe you the medicine. I found a clinic opening in Carmel next month called Lucina treatment center which at least provides the counseling included in your cost so might give them a try. Can't be any worse than my current provider.

I have been at the methadone clinic for 15 years. I did a urine drug test and it came up false positive for methamphetamine. I have been clean for all those years. I have R.A. and I also take humira, benedryl, and zantac 150.. Will those meds show up false positive? I promise u I don't cheat...

I need a subutex doctor near 70438 zip asap. I've been off heroin for two months and subutex really does make me not want to do any other drugs. I've tried rehab, group talking, even had sponsors and still went back to using, and this is the only alternative I've found that really keeps me off street drugs, any of them. It kills my desire to want those other drugs. Plz help someone, I'm afraid I'll die if I use heroin again.

My Doctor was shut down due to a horrible previous well connected patient of his who went and got herself addicted to illicit drugs, overdosed and and blamed him for her problem because he had treated her for pain for a period of time. The circumstances were extremely unfair and resulted in all of his patients including myself being left in extreme chronic pain with only one month of our medications left. I took Methadone 120 mg 2 years ago. Now I'm down to 28 mg. You have to be strong and willing to come clean. It hurts, but you`ll get used to it. Every week I take at least 2 mg off, sometimes more. When it gets too painful I help myself with, vitamins A, D and C, magnesium, liver vitamins and some Benzodiazepines, but not long, just a week. Then my body gets used to it and I keep taking the dose. When I feel okay again, I take less again, until it is gone. The finish is harder and you need all the help you can get, vitamins, immune system protection, magnesium, lots of fluids and sometimes a salt solution in veins, for the night. Hey my name is Nikki. I'm trying to find a Dr that will accept my insurance. I've searched for two days now and still haven't found no one and the cheapest one that I've found is $300 and I can't afford that because I have been on pain pills for 10 years now and I want off of them so bad! Taking only 4 mg of suboxone a day, I also started taking 100 mg of tramadol twice a day. When I go in to get my script for my sub will the tram show up on the drug test? I was just hurt at work and may have to take a drug test in the event of taking time off. I am currently taking the sublingual strips of suboxone and am wondering if it will show up as a "dirty" or "negative" drug test result? I took a half of an 8mg buprenorphine only (no naloxone) last Thurs late afternoon. I finally got into a pain clinic n have an appointment Tues at 2:30. I have been taking percocet that I have a script from the er for so that shouldn't be an issue as I'm a new patient. I'm concerned about the buprenorphine showing up. Can you take methadone 16 hours after taking a little less then half of a 8mg Subutex? ## Yes, but you may not feel the methadone. And it's the other way around, taking methadone then subutex can cause problems. ## I have been on suboxone for about three weeks and ran out, but went 4 days without then took 5 mg of methadone because that was all I had left. I need help finding a doctor in Michigan to prescribe me Methadone. Right now it is so hard and expensive, not to mention they are so hard to get they are around maybe once a month. Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. About Me & A Question: After I stopped taking Dilaudid (prescribed) I got violently ill, freaked out and found myself at a for-profit methadone clinic. I was there for 6 months, my highest dose was 45 mg but I spent the majority of it at 30 mg. Even though I earned 3 take homes, I became VERY sick of driving in there 4 days a week and paying $450/month ($15 per day) and I wasn't there for the right reasons (because I freaked out from the previous withdrawal) so I started my detox and totally ignored their suggested schedule and did it my way (much faster).
