I took a 5 panel urine test and the doctor was making sure I was taking my meds! I take methadone for pain and I found out that methadone does not show up in a regular 5 panel urine test! But I also take ativan and I took my meds that morning before the test and the ativan didn't show up in the test as well as the methadone? ## yes methadone shows up in 5 panel test i take one every mnth and my methadone shows up

My doctor is giving me suboxone for chronic pain from spine disease this is all he had had to offer because I refused to take any other pill form pain medications but because my insurance company won't pay for this medication I am in chronic pain it is not working as well I have been very depressed and now I find that my insurance company won't pay for it I'm at a loss and not sure what other medications can be given to me that are somewhat a controlled substance that will cover my pain ## Hello, Rose! I'm in a methadone clinic, where I dose in front of someone daily. I'm on 65mg and 2 times now i came up negative for methadone. How is that possible? Even if I didn't come in clinic for several days and didn't dose, I should still come up positive!! I was on the strips now have a new insurance and had to go to gen. I was first given the white tabs with the moons then last script the RX gave me the peach tabs with 54 375. I have chronic back pain and have had it for 30 years. The only alternative for living a decent quality of life is by taking an opiate. I've had several surgeries and all Dr.s I;ve conferred with has stated that is no longet an option. I now take methadone and have for 10yrs However, because I also have Hepatitis C and Chirosis of the liver my opiate must be very strong to help with the pain and not have "any" adultrants in it. Does anyone get blisters in their mouth? Under my tongue and on side of my bottom right lip inside. Zubsolv!!!! ## Hello, Jenn! How are you? I have been on methadone for seven years. Thru a clinic. I also am prescribed many anti depressants as well as 2 mg klonopin. I just found out iam 10 weeks pregnant. What should i do? I broke my neck and my back when I was 29. Never used drugs, I didn't drink or anything, then they sent me to a pain clinic and they never told me it was addictive. I got addicted to it real bad. I have 2 kids. I never neglected them except for showing them my time. I got to the point that I can deal with addiction and more so I wanted a different life. I was on Suboxone for 3 years now and it made my life ten times better. I was able to be the parent that I needed to be. I've been on methadone for 15 years for severe pain (after 25 years in recovery, and fighting with v.a. for 3 + years not to take pain meds). The head of the local v.a. treatment program recommended it to me; The only way I would take it was if I was guaranteed for life. A recent v.a. dr. took me from 120 mg to 90, last year (with no notice) then this year to 60, with no notice "again". Now he says the max they can write is equivalent to 100mg morphine. (Anyone know what that is?) Asked last year to try and come off slowly and see how I can tolerate (I was suicidal 15 years ago when I finally went to them.) I temporarily moved to ny from az. I was on a maintenance program in az. I arrived in ny with 3 weeks of takehomes, 10/19 was my last dose. I was at the guest clinic first thing 10/20, after waiting all day they told me they were not happy with the doctors order which was faxed to them from the doctor himself and would not be medicating me. However they would refer me to another clinic. As of today I have been to 4 clinics. The only difference is clinics 2,3,4 refused to medicate me because I have not been medicated in 2,3 and now 4 days. If anyone has any info that may be helpful I would really appreciate it. By the way my clinic in az is privately owned. Their solution to this mess - Fly back to az.

The clinic i get MMT from prepares doses ahead of time in plastic take-home bottles. The dose to taken in front of the nurse directly from the bottle. Last week i tossed the bottle in their trash receptacle rather than handing it back to the nurse. she scolded me and said. " we reuse those bottles" This seems totally unsanitary as many of us have diseases. I am being put under general anesthesia to have a wisdom tooth removed and I am on 15 mgs of methadone per day. Will the anesthesia work? ## Yes, it should work, but you MUST tell your doctor what medications you are on so that the anesthesiologist can dose appropriately!

Hi, I have been going to a pain management drs office for several years and had never had any problems. When I went to my appointment like I do every month I submitted a urine sample. You go every 4 weeks. So I went back 4 weeks later and told me the lab had spilled my sample. I thought it was kind of odd but I took the test again. At my next appointment they had found a substantial amount of a drug called suboxone. I never even heard of that before and never took that medication. When I went back they told me I have been discharged from their practice. I am being blamed for something I have never taken. I have contacted several lawyers and legal aid. Hey all, I was on suboxone for 1 yr then switched to Zubsolv, due to insurance reasons, I was in the the process of my slow taper when I fell Saturday and dislocated my elbow. The ER docs were told about my meds and gave me mirphine, reset my elbow and sent me home with nircos for pain, I called my dr Monday and told him what happened and he told me to take the norcos, however after I take them 3 hours later I am in full blown WD! No sleep, heart racing, sneezing, runny eye. Has anyone ever experienced this, my addiction dr wants to see me back on Tuesday but I'm wondering if I should not get back on the Zubsolv since I'm already 4 days into WD. Any advice on this? Hello I need HELP!! I'm freaking out!! I was on suboxone for maybe a year in a half!! Very low dose, I couldn't take a quarter a day or it made me sick!! So I took very small doses of one 8 mg pill that would last me a week!!! Before that I was taking percocet for two years. So I thought quitting would be easy since I did a very low mg but it was far from it!! The pain wasn't as bad coming off percocets, it was mentally driving me nuts on day 7 of maybe an hour or two of sleep for a week and that had me down. I have been clean for 8 years now on Methadone. I have been at my clinic for almost 9 years and have NEVER failed a drug test. I had two weeks take homes and a drug test came back diluted (low creatinine 14). Recently found out I am pregnant and the drug tests started coming back as diluted from the first test they gave me while pregnant.
