i underwent a cervical discectomy in 2009, and recently i have been suffering from severe pain due to unknown complications of my surgery. the doctor i saw today prescribed me robaxin-500 mg which is a muscle relaxer and dicloxacill 250 mg which is a antibiotic. he said the dicloxacill is a very strong pain killer. i have used it as directed but have had no relief from my stabbing back and neck pain., how is dicloxacill used to treat pain??? ## No, it's not a pain reliever of any type, it is just an antibiotic of the Penicillin class. I take hydrocodiev and soma. Today I had to take a drug test, The test came back positive for Morphine. How do I prove I didn't take morphine ## Did you mean Hydrocodone? If so, it was more likely that it's what caused the false positive for Morphine and not the Soma. Synthetic and semi-synthetic narcotics are well known to cause false positives for others on the lower quality, non-certified drug tests anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. As to proving it, they should be willing to send it out to a lab for further testing. Have they offered you that option?

ive been taking parafon and have a job interview tomorrow and was needing to know if this will show up as anything? ## It contains the active ingredient Chlorzoxazone, which is a muscle relaxant and isn't a class of medications that is tested for on standard drug tests. I'm sorry, but I don't have any information on whether ir not it will cause false positives for anything. Are there any other questions or comments?

I have been taking Flexeril, 10 mg for 3 years and decided to get off completely, cold turkey. Which was probably a mistake. After 2 days every muscle in my body is sore and aches. It feels like I have done an intense workout. My question is, will the pain eventually go away. If so, how long will it take? ## Anytime you have taken a medication for a long period of time, your body does get used to it and a sudden cessation can result in withdrawal and rebound effects, which can be even worse than what you started taking it for to begin with. Have you consulted your doctor? The rebound pain should eventually go away, but it may take a month or more, before it starts to taper off, since you were taking the medication for several years.

I found a medium sized orange pill with APO 10 written on one side, there was no writing on the other side. This pill was five sided. My 80 lb dog ate 1 cyclobenzaprine 10mg about 20 minutes ago. ## Have you consulted your veterinarian? Unfortunately, our information and my own knowledge is only relevant to the use of medications and their affects on humans, we really don't have a lot of details regarding them and animals. The metabolism and reactions can be completely different. Did he show any type of reaction, such as nausea, shallow breathing, extreme drowsiness?

I found a blue oval pill with M117 on it. Any ideas what it is? ## The closest match I've been able to locate has the imprint "M 771" as opposed to "M 117". This pill is also blue, but it's shape is round instead of oval. M 771 is identified as Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride (5 mg); which is a muscle relaxant, used for muscle spasms, migraines, and more. If this does not match your pill, you may want to consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a last resort, you could ask them about getting the pills ingredients lab tested and brought back to you. What are side effects of Skelaxin and can it be taken if you have gastritis and also taking blood pressure meds? ## What has your doctor advised? There are no warnings about using it, if you have stomach problems, but it may cause some nausea and irritation, other side effects can include dizziness and drowsiness. As to the blood pressure medications, I can't check that information for you, without knowing the specific ones. Can you please post back with what you are on, so I can check for you?

My point is that is a stupid idea to snort anything that is not pure because you are snorting mostly binders and not the actual ingredients your looking for. I have a sacroiliac injury,I have had injections,because of the nature of the injury I can't take pain medications.Only rest and not moving to scratch an itch or something in my sleep,so I take a couple somas to stay pain free and wear a si joint belt.problem is I can't find a doctor who will prescribe this medication.Its not like I am addicted.I just don't want the awful pain.Its been 2 years of pain .I was athletic before my accident.Now a car ride is agony. Pentagon shaped with "novo"on one side and the number 10 on the other, it resembles cyclobenzaprine but has different markings on it.
