does taking robaxin cause weight gain. my dr. gave it to me for mustle spasams along with percocet forpain after having back surgery and if its not the robaxin could it be the percocet causing this gain im desperate for an answer ## Have you consulted your doctor? It's really difficult for anyone online to guess what's causing the weight gain, it may be one of the medications, or it may be just due to your being inactive, after the surgery. There is also the possibility that it is just a natural part of your aging process. How much have you gained?

i have been taking rumoquin n f and found out it caused weight gain i will stop immediatley but need to know how long will it take before it is out of your system ## Rumoquin contains Methocarbamol (a msucle relaxant), Dexamethasone (a corticosteroid) and Phenylbutazone (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory). Most medical professionals agree that after about 5 half lives, the drug is completely out of your system. To help put this into perspective, you can view the half-life of each active ingredient shown below: -Methocarbamol half-life (1 to 2 hours) -Dexamethasone half-life (36-54 hours) -Phenylbutazone half-life in humans (72 hours) Based on this information, I would give it about 2 weeks before it is out of your system. Is it safe to eat grapefruit while taking Clofen? ## Hi Carmel, Clofen contains the active ingredient Baclofen. I did find that in the safety information, it states the following: "Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you take Baclofen Tablets." However, there was no other information or details explaining this interaction or how long one should wait before or after their dose if they want to have this fruit. In any case, if you really want to indulge in grapefruit, I would suggest going off of how you feel with a little bit here and there in between doses, then not having any grapefruit altogether for a few weeks to compare the effects of the medication, including how you feel. Hi, I got a minor sprain, muscle pull on my back while hitting gym. As it ws minor doctor suggested me to continue light weight practice with mobizox. As i ws alrdy taking androlic. .I continued both together.I have stoped androlic after taking 10tabs bt now pain as increase. Is it somethin serious?? ## Have you consulted your doctor, again? No one is really going to be able to give you a definitive answer from just the limited information in your post. Androlic is an anabolic steroid and improper use of it can cause damage to your body, some of which may be permanent. The Mobizox contains the active ingredient Chlorzoxazone, which is used as a muscle relaxant, so it can help with pain from muscle spasms, but will generally not be effective against pain form other causes.
