When I first started taking Soma I would get a great feeling from it, now I take it and nothing!! What causes this? ## Aren't all meds like this to some degree? Soma is addictive and we become very tolerant of it. I wish I could try the old Miltown but Doctors just laugh when you mention it! ## Hello, Cassie! How are you? When you got a great feeling from it, that was just a side effect and they usually wear off after awhile, as your body gets used to the medication. It is completely normal for that to happen and trying to get those pleasant feelings back again is what leads many to abuse a medication, since they have to keep taking more and more of it to get them back. Soma actually isn't addictive, it is just a muscle relaxant, though. Is there anything else I can help with? #...
I am a 60 year old female. I was in a roll-over car accident in 1973, just before my 19th birthday. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital in traction. Every so often the pain would drive me to seek medical treatment. This went on for more than 30 years. I've tried just about everything to alleviate the agony, even an epidural about 20 years ago. 4 1/2 years ago I found a pm dr. She was a total b****. After 3 years, my drug panel was positive for thc once & told me "I'd be more than happy to wean you off your meds & you can have your street drugs". In CA, medicinal marijuana is legal, but remains a federal crime. After leaving her, I found another pm dr. I jumped from the frying pan into the fire. The dr I chose is worse! I've been seeing him for 18 months. I really...

Paraflex is listed by the FDA as containing Chlorzoxazone and Soma as containing Carisoprodol, both are classified as being muscle relaxants. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
can you stop takeing it with out side effects ## Hello, Angie! How are you? How long have you been taking it and what is the dosage? if you say the pill is blue then why are mine gold? ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Cyclobenzaprine is a generic medication, which means it is manufactured by several different companies. This is normal, because it creates market competition to help keep prices down. However, the colors of the tablets are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufactured, so one may be gold, one blue, one green, one white and so on. What are the markings on the one you're asking about? That is what would enable me to check its contents for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth.
Hi there, I took a trepiline overdose in 2007. About 40. I was in a coma for about 2 days. Doctors couldn't say if I was going to make it. Eventually i gained consciousness. It is now 6 years and not sure if the effects of the overdose is causing me : memory loss, I could be speaking about something and simply forget the entire gist of the conversation in seconds. Everything I could remember is just faint now. I cant even remember proper words and how to use them in context to sentence. This happens everyday. ## Hi, Livian! How are you? Actually, you'd be better of with the Ibuprofen if your doctor approves of you taking it, since it is classified by the FDA as an NSAID that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Cyclobenzaprine, however, is a muscle relaxant, not an analgesic, so it won't do anything to help with a toothache. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything e...

Muscle relaxer Cor 103 ## I have taken Soma/Carosoprodol 350 mg X 4 a day for 5 years. They do very little but relieve nureuthopy (spl). However, I recently got a prescription for Soma cor 103 and they messed me up. I am not taking them. All the other brands act the same, but this cor 103 acts more like a narcotic, and I do not take narcotics. ## Yes, COR 103 is Carisoprodol 350mgs, a generic for Soma. So not a narcotic at all. However, the reason it could be causing you to feel that way is the real nature of generic drugs and the laws that control the making of them. In truth, generic drugs are allowed to differ, in the ACTIVE ingredient, from their name brand counterparts by as much as PLUS or MINUS 20%. In addition, it DOES NOT necessarily have to be the same exact active ingredient ...
