I have fibromaryia and my Dr prescribed CYCLOBENZAPR 10 MG . and lm always with pain such i keep taking them. ## Hello, Sugar! How are you? I had a five level fusion in December 2011. I have a knee bending pain when I move the wrong way. It last for hours. It's more like a knife jab or slice than nerve impigement which I have had much esxperience with. This medication does NOTHING to reduce the impact of pain caused by my moving the wrong way. It's as though I have had nothing to reduce the pain. Can tizanidine or hydrocodone cause you to test positive for opi. ## Hydros are a derivative of opiates so yes you will test positive for it. The tizanidine is a non narcotic muscle relaxant so it won't show up as an opiate. ## Tizanidine with 4 slits and 1 side has R180: For people that take this, You will test positive for opiates, Its considered a narcotic, Because There is 1 ingredient That they use in this and its use in opiates like perks. My pain care dr prescribes it to me but I don't always take them right. If I'm really hurting I might take 2. My husband says they can tell in blood work that I took more that prescribed. Is Flexeril similar to Roxcets? ## NO! Not the same type of drug at all. Flexeril is a muscle relaxant containing Cyclobenzaprine. Roxicet is a narcotic pain reliever containing Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. ## No Flexeril is a strong and good muscle reaxant, also causes sleepiness, Roxicet is a STRONG!!! Narcotic. ## I have flexeril that expired in 2007... can I still take it if the bottle says it should be yellow and its more of a peachish color....? No odor.

I can't take meds with Tylenol in them does this muscle relaxer have it in it? I've been taking tizanadine /zanaflex for 10 years at 36 mgs per day. That's the max dose allowed. I had daily migraines for 3 years along with spine and neck djd and insomnia. It helps with all of this. I lost my pcp a couple of months ago and do not want get get off of this medication. It allows me to live without pain and function. My new pcp wants me off and when I cut down, I have horrible panic attacks and severe high blood pressure. Any suggestions? I have to find a new pcp but don't want to dr hop. I also have to function daily. I also live with severe anxiety and panic attacks and my psychiatrist has me on Xanax. Tapering down from zanaflex causes major anxiety. I started taking in oct 2014 30 pills but very other day or when needed 15 mg then when finished started getting pain again waited a month. Jan 2015 got 30 day refill took for 2 weeks stopped last wed. Didn't take the last 15 pills. My husband has a prescription for cyclobenzaprine from 2013 and is haveing an awful muscle spasm can he take one from his old prescription even though it is 2 years old? ## It doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it does start to lose efficacy, so it most likely won't work as well as it did, when new. He should double check with his doctor, before taking it. methocarbamol 750mg ## Hello, Larry! How are you? Can you please double check the marking? I am not finding any tablets with 4241 on them, including Methocarbamol. However, there is one manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals that has the marking 4212 V on, which contains 750mgs of Methocarbamol. Does Tizanidine have opiates in them or any narcotics? Will it show up in a drug test? ## No Tinazidine is non-narcotic. ## I don't believe it is a narcotic drug. As far as a drug screening goes it really depends on what they look for in the urine/blood sample. They can look for narcotic, illicit, and commonly abused drugs. If it is an employer looking most likely they wouldn't even check for that drug.
