How are you? I actually doubt this medication will help much with the pain caused by fibromyalgia. Cyclobenzaprine is just a muscle relaxant, not a regular analgesic. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth, as listed by the FDA. Has it been helping you, at all?
I had a five level fusion in December 2011. I have a knee bending pain when I move the wrong way. It last for hours. It's more like a knife jab or slice than nerve impigement which I have had much esxperience with. This medication does NOTHING to reduce the impact of pain caused by my moving the wrong way. It's as though I have had nothing to reduce the pain. Can you explain exactly how this medication is supposed to work and why might it not help me? ## Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant, which means it only works on muscles, to prevent the spasms from them that can cause pain and discomfort. Thus, it is not actually a pain reliever. Additionally, for sudden break through pain like that, most pain relievers that have already been taken, will usually not help much. This is why i...
I found a light pink oblong pill,in my son's pocket. It's light pink (or peach), it has a capital M on one side. 58 59 (divided down the middle with a line between the numbers). ## This contains 800mgs of Metaxalone, the active ingredient in Skelaxin, it is a powerful muscle relaxant. It is often abused, so you may want to speak with your son if he does not have a valid prescription for this. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I would be worried that the child is just taking random pills but not with this pill (metaxalone) itself. A previous poster describes this drug as a powerful muscle relaxant, it is NOT. This drugs action is not fully understood and for many people it has zer...
Can tizanidine or hydrocodone cause you to test positive for opi. ## Hydros are a derivative of opiates so yes you will test positive for it. The tizanidine is a non narcotic muscle relaxant so it won't show up as an opiate. ## Tizanidine with 4 slits and 1 side has R180: For people that take this, You will test positive for opiates, Its considered a narcotic, Because There is 1 ingredient That they use in this and its use in opiates like perks. The reason i know I just got prescribed it and it is a muscle relaxer but my doctor told me it is considered a narcotic And he gave me a urine stick to take home. So he knows im taking it. It will show up positive. Just so you people know.
My pain care dr prescribes it to me but I don't always take them right. If I'm really hurting I might take 2. My husband says they can tell in blood work that I took more that prescribed. One strand of your hair can tell more than blood or urine
I was switched to backlafen from soma's, what are the difference an what are the ingredients? ## They look just like a Soma. I wouldn't like them? Baclofen can also be used to treat hiccups.[3] ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? Baclofen is the active ingredient, so what you've received is a generic. It is also classified by the FDA as a muscle relaxant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. The scheduling of Soma was recently changed, since it is commonly abused, so many doctors no longer want to prescribe it and are swathing their patients to alternatives. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been changed out the same. They are higher on my co pay than somas. They do not work at all. My husbands doctor still wrights...

It is always possible to experience some mild withdrawal symptoms like that, if you've taken something for a long period of time, or in a high dose, even if you only took it as prescribed. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience rebound pain, insomnia and diarrhea. It should improve soon, as your body adjusts to being without the Cyclobenzaprine. cyclobenzaprine ## Can't wait to receive your daily Newsletter. ## For more information about this drug please see the page: Flexeril ## Be careful with Flexeril. If you are on anti-depressents, ask your doctor. I am on anti-depressents and cannot take Flexeril. Robaxin is better by far.
He is really old, very funny. Just prescribed me 90 Soma with 5 refills. That is 540 SOMA when others can't get their Doc to write for SOMA at all. ## What is his name is he in Oregon ? ## He should be in Oregon. Just a "County" Doctor in a small Rural area near Vegas. ## Do you know his name? Thank you so veryuch ## Well yes I know his name, really don't want to post it here but I did want to dispel the myth that Doctors are not writing for SOMA or it can't be refilled... I have found Doctors who hate the drug because they might have had personal experience with it and know it does not really have much therapeutic value. On the other hand it makes you feel better and doctors know that as well. By developing a working relationship with your provider over time is the ...
My husband has a prescription for cyclobenzaprine from 2013 and is haveing an awful muscle spasm can he take one from his old prescription even though it is 2 years old? ## It doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it does start to lose efficacy, so it most likely won't work as well as it did, when new. He should double check with his doctor, before taking it. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
Does Tizanidine have opiates in them or any narcotics? Will it show up in a drug test? ## No Tinazidine is non-narcotic. ## I don't believe it is a narcotic drug. As far as a drug screening goes it really depends on what they look for in the urine/blood sample. They can look for narcotic, illicit, and commonly abused drugs. If it is an employer looking most likely they wouldn't even check for that drug. Drug court may. ## Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant, definitely non-narcotic. ## I have been taking suboxone for 3 months now and I believe it is a wonder drug..I don't believe in going on methadone, so its been a answer to my prayers with help getting off heroin..but it's giving me wicked heart palpitations and making me kinda nervous..anyone else???
