Can I take cerebrex which I use for back pain, and adco-dol at the same time? I have a splitting headache and only adco-dol seems to help, but I need the cerebrex for lower back pain. Also, can pain medication be taken with robaxin? ## Have these medications been prescribed for you? Adco-Dol is listed as containing Codeine, Caffeine, Doxylamine, and Paracetamol. Robaxin 500mg compaired to Flexeril 10mg, are they considered the same strength or which one is stronger? ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol and Flexeril contains Cyclobenzaprine. The Flexeril is generally much more mild, so 10mgs of it would not be equal to the 800mg dosage of Robaxin. Have you been switched from one to the other? ## soma vs. flexeril, WITCH IS STRONGER ## got it and thanks ## I was given Robaxin for my rotar cuff shoulder. I had problems with Robaxin. I was dizzness, my blood pressure was unbalance. ## Yes, I have been on flexeril 10 mg for 12 years not working so doctor put me on robaxin 750 mg. Seems to be working for me for now I can take 2 at a time but I feel 1 is working. ## I'm on 500MG methocarbamol and its useless, like basic vitamins...

Also changed Soma to Zanaflex. I didn't sleep much before this change, now not more than 2hrs a day. HELP!! A lot of yrs. of pain. I can't work anymore. rugby 4840 small round white pill. What is it? ## rugby 4604 oblong white pill what is it??? thanks ## Rugby imprints were discontinued years ago, when the company was purchased by another, I think it may have been Watson, but don't quote me on that. LOL Anyway, from what I've been able to find, the one with the 4840 marking is said to have contained Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant, though I cannot confirm that and haven't been able to find a dosage. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dry mouth, and headache. The one with the 4604 marking is listed as having contained 400mgs of Ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side...

how long does it take soma to get out of your system ## Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol, it is a mucle relaxant and is not tested for on standard drug tests. In addition, if you have a prescription for anything, all you have to do is inform them of this, when you go in for the test, though they may want to verify it with your doctor. Are there any questions or comments? ## HOW LONG DOES SOMA STAY IN YOUR SYSTEM? ## i will be taking a urine text for a job in the car buisness and i wanted to know how long valium and soma (if they test for it) will show up in the test ## As I stated in my prior post, as a muscle relaxant, Soma is not something included in the standard urine tests. Valium, however, contains Diazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and these are actually the more...

I was having swelling in my throat w/ baclofen & now it seems to be happening again. I take tizanidine & cyclobenzaprine & I'm trying to figure out if either of these two are causing this? Does tizanidine have the same properties as baclofen? ## Cyclobenzaprine and Baclofen are both muscle relaxants. Thus, I must ask why you are taking both? It is not common to be prescribed two medications in the same class, at the same time. And yes, according to FDA reports, since all 3 of these medications are muscle relaxants, you may also experience such a reaction to the others. You should be very cautious and if you have severe trouble breathing, or develop hives, you should seek immediate medical attention.

Is Soma a good muscle relaxer? Right now I'm taking Tizanidine which is not working very good. I use to take Soma but they were cutting that out so I just asked for something else. Is DAN 5658 any better? ## No Dan 5658 is not SOMA. They do however make a decent SOMA ## Cyclobenzaprine is a bit stronger than Tizanidine, but it really depends on how well it works for you. Soma is the strongest available, it contains Carisoprodol, but due to how often it is abused, many doctors will no longer prescribe it. The FDA lists the typical side effects of muscle relaxants as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Have you tried taking it, yet?

My cousin gave me 2 of these pills bc im having unbearable back and body pain. Is it ok to take both? ## I wouldn't recommend it, especially since they have no been prescribed for you. The tablet with this marking contains 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine, it is a muscle relaxant and, as such, it can cause depression of the central nervous system, which can result in lowered heart rate, lowered blood pressure and lowered rate of breathing. Taking more than one can potentiate these effects and may cause an overdose, putting your life in danger. If this drug cyclobenzaprine (10mg) is a muscle relaxer and the heart is a muscle, if I'm taking 1 at a time, is there any danger in harming my heart muscle? If so, what does it take to harm this muscle? ## In order for it do harm to the heart, per se, you'd have to either have a very bad reaction to it, or overdose on it, by taking too much. Otherwise, yes it is a muscle relaxant and, as such, it can cause depression of the central nervous system, which includes the heart, so it may cause your heart to slow down slightly. This is usually not significant in healthy individuals, with normal heart function. However, you should check with your doctor, to make sure it is safe for you to take it, especially if you've had any type of cardiac problem. Are there any other questions ...
