I was recently prescribed 10mg Cyclobenzaprine tablets for the pain I am having in through out my right shoulder blade, collar bone and some times down the entire right arm.i haven't taken any of the prescribed medication yet because I've been told that 10mg Cyclobenzaprine is a benzo and is the same drug class as Xanax.,in which I refuse to take.I hate Xanax and all the side effects that come with them.So my question to you is,are 10mg Cyclobenzaprine equivalent to a Xanax? ## Cyclobenzapine is in no way related to Xanax. Cyclobenzapine is just a muscle relaxer while Xanax is a benzodiazepine. Cyclobenzapine, or flexeril wich is the brand name is a good muscle relaxer and is nothing like a Xanax. ## Jason is correct, it is nothing more than a muscle relaxant, and a rather mild ...

I have a hair drug test next week and I am on Norflex (100mg ER), but it was just a sample 4 day supply from the hospital. Will it show up on the test? ## A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. I don't know of any hair drug test that would include Norflex.

I found a large white pill with M 324. What is this? My son found this, and gave it to me. I am very concerned. ## Hi Sussn, How would describe the imprint in so far as the way it's arranged on the pill? For example: Is the "M" sitting over top of the "324" or is the the "M" on one side and "324" on the other; etc? Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is a round white pill (approx. 10.00 mm in size) with an "M" over top of "724" on one side and is cross-scored (+) on the back. This particular pill reportedly contains 4mgs of Tizanidine hydrochloride, which is used as a muscle relaxant. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00378-0724 and is manufactured by Mylan. I hope this helps! ##...

My daughter and her boyfriend took my Methocarbamol. If it were abused, what could happen to them? ## Any medication can cause fatal reactions, if someone abuses it and takes too much, or if they are allergic to it, as explained in many NIH reports. Did they experience any adverse effects? How much did they take? This is a muscle relaxant and the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Do they have any diagnosed medical conditions? Are they on any other medications? ## Is methocarbamol addictive? Would this drug be effective for restless leg syndrome? Being a person that has this condition, it disrupts my sleep....Please help.

I have loose motion from past 2 months, daily 2-3 times and have bubble sound in stomach, i got colonoscopy done but there was not problem, what is the problem? ## What has your doctor advised? Have you changed anything in your diet, either the food you're eating, or beverages? The bubbles sound like they may be due to gas, but there are many things that could be causing the diarrhea. You may want to try keeping a food diary for a few weeks, writing down everything you eat and drink, then when the problems occur. This could help you discover the trigger item(s). ## I Have Loose Motion From Past 2 Months Daily 4 Times And Bubble Sound In Stomach. i am eating every thing but from last 3 day i am eating only one dish boil rice now pain is in my both legs. i have eating these tablets,, ...

My wife was prescribed chlorzoxazone for muscle pain/ tension and ran out so the doctor refilled the script. 1st time got a green disc shaped pill second time got a white barrel shaped tablet ## I was also prescribed the round green ones by my doctor the first time I got them the second time I got the white oblong ones ## This medication does not work well unless I take my prescribed percocet. ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? I am tapering off of suboxone, can cyclobenzaprine hc tab help me with the withdrawls. ## Hello, Lucky360! How are you? Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant, so it may help with some rebound issues that could occur, such as muscle cramping, but it's not likely to do much else. Its typical side effects can include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Did your doctor prescribe it? ## Morning Veron, I'm OK so far, no my doc did not prescribe the benzaprine, I decided to tapper of the suboxones myself, but I'm running low on sub's, and I'm really scared, I really want to get of the sub's, its been 2 yes, I feel its time, I started @ 16 mg a day, now I'm @ half of 2 mg. My husband had spinal surgery on Monday and has been suffering from debilitating muscle spasms. He took a 10 mg Cyclobenzaprine just over an hour ago but has just received 750 mg Methocarbamol. Is it safe to go ahead and take the new pills now? He is in agonizing pain. Hoping someone can help... ## Hi Becky, Sorry to hear about your husband's debilitating condition. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Cyclobenzaprine and Methocarbamol. While this does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist, it is my personal opinion that they're deemed as safe to take together. Nevertheless, it's always a good idea to double check with the prescribing doctor before administering anything t...

I've been on 60 mg daily of Baclofen for a few years, now, and every time I take doses too close together or take a little more than prescribed to help me sleep or with the pain, it gives me horrendous side effects. I get dizzy, it's hard to walk, I twitch a lot, and have a burning feeling in my skin. It doesn’t happen often but when it does, it’s awful and it lasts for the whole next day. I had to miss work today and I really needed those hours. You'd think I would have learned by now, ugh. So my question is, is there a way to speed up Baclofen getting out of my system? Or do I just have to wait for my body to eliminate it? Thanks! ## Not really, while exercise and increased fluid intake may help, the only thing that is really guaranteed to work is time. (NDC 01...
