At a minimum, that would be 4 a day, so 15 days, however, since it is prescribed to be taken as needed, your doctor may expect it to last longer, because they may not think you will need to take 4 of them a day. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation, nervousness, and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you and your daughter? It is not safe to cut the ER tablets, the ER designates them as being time released and cutting them might be causing her to get too much of the medication, at once. So yes, that could be contributing to the problem. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, sedation, weight changes, confusion and depersonalization. Have you informed her doctor of the problems she is having?

I experienced my first major depressive episode after my sophomore year of college at age 20 (in 2002). During my sophomore year of college, my hair went from being straight to corkscrew-like curly nearly overnight. I had no way to explain this phenomenon at the time, but my hair was easier to fix and added personality so I thought, hey, cool, weird for it to do this, but, cool! I think "chemicals" in my brain had started to change and remember feeling "out of place" and uncomfortable in my own skin a lot. I was a straight A student my freshman year of college and A/B student my sophomore year. I frequently swithched majors because I felt like I could not think through my decisions (irritated, fluctuating moods) and I had no idea what I truly enjoyed in life. After my ma...

I am allergic to sulfa drugs or any derivative or relative of them (such as Mopral). Is nifuroxazide a sulfa relative or derivative?
UpdatedI took one maxalt for a migraine and saw my pain dr. I also take percocet and my urine came back positive for lortab. I never took one. Is this possible? They sent it to the lab. ## So are you saying that your urine test came back positive specifically for Lortab, or did it just show positive for opiates in general? Updated in Depakote ERIt's Excedrin migraine. Available over the counter. An innocent headache med. Still, I do not recommend taking it. ## Hi Amy, thanks for the heads up on the pill identification. I didn't notice anyone asking about it, but I would agree that there are other treatment options for a headache that don't necessarily require a pill or use acetaminophen/caffeine to combat tension. Whatever it may be that is causing one's headache to manifest, practicing mindfulness meditation throughout the day is an excellent remedy (at least in my own experience) that can be applied on the spot to create a sense of relief. When I personally maintain my peace of mind, headaches cease to exist. However when the mind is stressed out and out of balance one's body is more prone to catch and ho...

UpdatedI took the medication my doctor have me for migraines but now my head has pain and new pressure in the front of my head. Also my back is spasming really bad. ## Hello Shaun143! How are you? Sinus pressure and muscle spasms can be a normal side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness and administration site irritation. However, such side effects are usually transient and tend to go away, with time, as your body gets used to the medication. If they do not, or they get severe, you should consult your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?
My daughter is pregnant. She has migraines and her doctor prescribed her but/apap/caf. Is that safe for the baby? ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? This is a medication where there's no proven risk, but nor is risk unproven. When prescribing a medication during pregnancy, the doctor has to carefully calculate whether the benefits outweigh the risks. She should make sure to only take it as prescribed and to see her doctor regularly, so they can check for any possible problems. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?

have a prolactin level of 123. I was told that normal level ranges from 2-24. I was told by the doctor that I have a Pituitary Adenoma. i am female, 40 years old. I have had no period for quite a few years, severe headaches (and migraines), Abnormal facial hair growth (not fun!!), very tired all the time .. I could go on and on, but I was wondering 2 things. I see that there seem to be quite a few meds that people have been on and I wanted to know what ppl that have suffered from high prolactin levels\Pituary Adenoma would recommend or preferred. The other question would be - along with all the side effects that are suffered with this - has anyone ever suffered with ear pressure - it constantly feels as though my head is going to explode, as though I'm in an airplane and I can't po
