Hi, I am 46 years old and am having irregular periods. I had a light period for two weeks and a migraine for the same amount of time. I usually have migraines with my periods. I went to my doctor and she prescribed Primolut N tablets to be taken 3 times a day until my period stopped. I took them for 3 days and my period and migraine went away. This is a combination of butalbital, acetaminophen & caffeine and is prescribed for tension headaches. We would like to know the amount of each of the drugs contained in the medication. The drug company producing this medication is Merck-Medco. I am using pur-bloka for severe heart palpitation. Unfortunately is does not help for heart palpitation, i'm getting severe hot flushes, and i am so tired, i can't keep my eyes open the whole day. And the worst, i am so emotional, i am crying about everything everyday!! Hai dr, I want to know about this medicine .my wife now started encorate chrono300 .she is 24 year old , she said when she is take this tablet after that she is suffering migraine and body pain . Those can be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the U.S. FDA. they should go away with time, as her body gets used to it. She may also experience dizziness, nausea and dry mouth. Had a bad migraine and took Fioricet about 1.5 hours ago. Meeting friend for drinks - can I drink? ## It may cause you to experience more side effects than usual, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. If your doctor approves of your imbibing, it would be best to make sure that you aren't going to be driving or operating any possibly dangerous machinery. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm 21 and have been taking 500mg (morning) / 1000mg (evening) of Depakote ER. I was not in range so my doctor recently increased me to 1000mg/1000mg. Now I have severe gas and abdominal pain. I've read in previous posts that this side effect is usually transient. I was wondering if there is anything special I can do in my diet and or lifestyle to reduce the pain? ## Hello, Gabe! However, your doctor may approve your taking something to alleviate the gas. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain. How long does Fioricet remain in your system before being excreted? ## Hello, Sandra! How are you? Approximately 175 to 210 hours, which would be anywhere from 7 to 9 days. It is the Butalbital that cause it to take so long. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and insomnia. Hi, I am taking 500 mg/2x daily of Divalproex Sod ER (Depakote) for Bipolar 1. It works very well. However, my ALT is 76 and my AST is 59. I am not sure that these higher than normal liver enzyme test results are bad enough to require me to stop taking Depakote. I know there is a wide range of abnormalty. Has anyone had experience with liver enzyme problems? Please, share your experience. Please, don't tell me to ask my doctor. I'm am 23 years old and never have I ever been in this much pain before its starts from my middle eardrum spreading a burning sensation around my right jaw and inside my gum line. Then it quickly makes it way to the right side of my temple with an unbearable headache. It last up to 2-12 hours sometimes all day more then 7 days a week. When I finally fall asleep I get woke up from the awful pain every night at 3-4 am at the same time crying for help. I've been prescribed a 2 week course for the treatment of migraines which consists of 25mg. It will then will be increased to 50 mg if found effective. So now I just started the 25mg course and find an issue that I am constantly hungry and wanting to eaet (which is strange since I thought a side effect would be loss of appetite), and I have a constant light migraine on one side. (Luckily not a severe one which incapacitates me for a few days at a time). Greetings, This will be my first post. I am hoping for some information and help, regarding side effects and vision. I apologize for the long length. My Mother will be 87 on Sunday and she has been having terrible headaches (migraines). She is getting floaters in her vision, numbness in her face and sometimes down her arm. I'm very sorry about the migraines! Yes, as long as your doctor has instructed you to use them together. The maximum oral dose is 200mgs in 24 hours and 40mgs for the nasal spray, so you likely shouldn't exceed 200mgs a day in total, unless your doctor has said otherwise. Hello, My neurologist is retiring after my next visit and he has informed me he fears I will have difficulty finding another doc who will prescribe Fiorinal #3 for me due to "it's reputation." This although I have tried everything even before these headaches worsened when I developed MS. Nothing else works or even renders me functional. Watson used to have a link on it's site to help patients identify doctors who had a positive attitude toward your med. Do you have such a link? Please advise and thank you.

I have had migraines since a wreck when I went through the window of my car and got a Traumatic Brain Injury. The last 5 years they have gotten worse. So bad that I rarely have a good day. I spent two years getting into a dr in Texas where I lived and was given limited amounts of Norco or Lortab. Hi. I've been taking Fioricet for years, from the name brand to the generics. The name brand was effective, the generic less so, but no real complaints until last week. My Pharmacist, unable to locate the generic I'd been taking for the last several years, was only able to find the MIA 110 generic caplet. Though it's supposedly made up of the same ingredients, it feels like an entirely new formulation.
