I am on day 4 of Methylprednisolone for bronchitis which was giving me asthma like attacks. Now I have a sore throat is this a side effect of this drug? I have two days to go on it ## Hello, Lee! I suffer from MS and was experiencing a relapse. The advice was to take 5 days methylprednisolene. After first dose my face started puffing up and became bright red. Continued as I had had been having so much back pain and other MS symptoms. Thought that this was the lesser of 2 evils and would persevere. The course finished on Friday. Had very bad Saturday night. Really hot, vivid dreams and could not sleep and itched like crazy. When I got up on Sunday morning I noticed a spot on my chin. When I looked in good light I saw that my lower face was absolutely covered in spots. Pimples have erupted all over my chin and face and my scalp is really sore as there are bumps/spots all over andI can't stop itching. I was prescribed methylprednisolone for a reaction to poison ivy and have finished day 4 of the pack. I feel as if I have little to no relief. I am in constant discomfort (having a tough time sleeping even) and the rashes do not appear to be going away. One in fact seems to be getting worse. ## Hello, Diane! How are you? I have heart palpitation, and have had them for the past week. I have also had sinus and a cough for the past week. Went to urgent care, and have bronchitis. I was prescribed the Methylprednisolone and an antibiotic. I am nervous about taking the steroid when I am already having heart palpitations. Can I get a tetanus shot while taking a Medrol pack? I was slightly spurred by a rooster tonight, just barely broke the skin but did bleed a drop. I had neck surgery on a disc and after surgery was prescribed this med in January to reduce swelling in my neck and now I'm still having trouble swolling and they put me back on this medicine in March is this normal : had a new disc put in neck ## Did they provide you with a diagnosis? I was taking medrol 32 mg 2 times per day for 2 weeks now and reduced to 1 pill per day for the last 2 days. The weakness and high heart beat rate is becoming unbearable and I stopped it today. Is it ok to do so? or I need to reduce more like half pill or so.. I was only taking it for a little sinus infection that was caused by a root filled tooth 2 years ago and the tooth is extracted but the inflammation continued.

My MD prescribed this for inflammation in head, ears, nose, throat and cough along with an inhaler. I am on day 5 and although I am improving, I still have a nasty dry cough which has not improved. Maybe I am not using the inhaler properly. I do have some side effects from the methylpred 4mg but tolerable. I would like to take something for this persistant cough but am afraid to mix with meds. While I was on 4mg six pac for sinus I had a urine test that showed trace amounts of blood in urine. Took another urine test and it showed some abnormal transition cells. I forgot to tell my doctor that I was taking Methylprednisolone from my ENT DOCTOR.... WOULD IT AFFECT MY URINE RESULTS?

Had nerve burns 17 days ago c3 c6. After a week severe pain. Taking 10-325 hydrocodones. Went to emergency and was prescribed the 6 day dospak. Took 4 total this evening so far. Side effect has been sweating and slight fever, 98,5. Are these side effects? Also pharmacist said I could continue my paid meds. Also I take sucralfate got my stomach issues. I was prescribed this medication for a breakout of hives I was experiencing. My doctor prescribed what is commonly known as the Z pack consisting of 6 tablets the first day, 5 tablets the next, and so on with one tablet less each day for six days. Well since I was instructed to take the first day's dose all at once, I assumed the same instructions were to apply to future doses. The next day I took all 5 tablets at once, when I should have taken only 1 before breakfast, 1 after lunch, 1 after supper and 2 at bedtime and so on for the other doses. I went to the doctor after having a swollen eyelid cause by pollen when I went to cherryblossom. I have light inflamation aound my eyes and the doctor told me not to put make up around my eyes.
