My friend had a tooth pulled the other day and is suppose to be taking Amoxicillin to fight infection but is under the influence of Methamphetamine. Is it okay to mix the two drugs? ## Hello, According to my research there are no drug interactions found between Methamphetamine and Amoxicillin. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. I don't use Methamphetamine but my husband does. I was reading that it could be transferred through sperm. He takes about a gram a day. I have to have a hair test done in November. Is there any possible way that I could fail because I don't do it?

I had to take a drug test for dhr bcause i left my husband secondary to domestic violence. My psychologist currently has me on adderall and my urine drugscreen was positive for methamphetamine, which i have never taken in my life. When my dr started me on the med he told me I would fail drug tests. Now dhr has sent the test off to the lab and are awaiting results. However, it has been 18 days and they tell me they still havent received the results from the lab. I know it doesn't take that long bcause I am also an RN. So what do you think the problem could be? Also, what should I do to get this matter cleared up, if anything? What medications show a false positive for methamphetamine. What is the difference between methamphetamine and amphetamine? ## I was ticketed with a d.u.i. and am on quantipine. I don't drink and a urine test showed amphetamine or methamphetamine I had also been in bed with seasonal allergies and headache and was taking cold medicine. My daughter Bradford I got out of jail researched this medicine causes false positives and need some more proof to take to court. I was also drowsy just waking up. If I use baking soda to clean out my system from methamphetamine, how long will it it be before I test clean after that? ## You have 3 hr window but have to produce one pee before you will have runs but u will pass but don't test earlier that 45 min and be sure you drink 2nd cup of water after and dissolve baking soda completely . I had a 5 panel 90 day hair follicle test done for family court. I was clean for 120 days when samples were taken. My results came back negative for amphetamine and positive for methamphetamine with a 810 level. So court took kids and said I was positive. My question is, isn't that a false positive test? If you did the drug you would have to have both positive I was told. I was told that if only positive for methamphetamine then it was from exposure and not from doing it. Is this correct?

Is there a way to flush my system of Methamphetamine within the next 8 days? ## @Cyn, Methamphetamine can only be detected in your urine for up to 1-4 days after your last dose. With that said, I don't think you'll have to be overly concerned about having it out of your system in 8 days time. As far as detoxing goes, in my opinion, fruits and veggies are the answer. You can also try getting some activated charcoal from your local health store; which is known for its use in detoxing your body of prescription drugs. Last week DSS came out because someone called and they sent me to do a drug test Thursday. This will be my 8th DSS investigation in the past few years and my 3rd DSS investigation just this past year. I have been hair and urine tested with all of them and passed negative and the cases have been closed. Now yesterday they called with the results of this drug test and said that I tested positive for methamphetamine! I've never done that drug! My daughter tested positive for methamphetamine. She just had a baby. Her and her boyfriend had sex right before she went into labor. They gave her a catheter and tested the urine. He is known to do methamphetamine. Is it possible that they scraped up some of his sperm when they put the catheter in her? And would she test positive because of it?

I cant believe at age 50 I have done it everyday since I was a junior in high school. Pretty f***ing stupid! I have wasted my whole life! and now I cant stop! I had a urine test and it came back positive for Methamphetamine, and I don't do drugs. I have been taking Flonase, Cetrizine, Loratadine, Omeprazole, and Protonix. Which one of these could've altered my results? My doctor doesn't believe me, and I need to prove her wrong because it's affecting my pain contract.

I was on private property, police were called and I have a failed back surgery with nerve damage from lower back to feet. I was given a ua test on Wednesday when i seen my Dr. Opiates showed up. In blood test opiates did not show Up on Monday, what did show up was methamphetamines, which I and my wife were taking sudaephadrine and Advil cold and sinus in large doses 6-12 tabs every 5 hours or so. I was taking 220mg morphine a day, 6 mg klonapin a day, currently I'm taking300 mg morphine a day, 6 mg klonapin, and 20 mg of valium a day. I've been seeing the same Dr. For over 3 years every 2 weeks I get a ua and have never failed, I've been on over 200mg morphine for over a year and half. He takes Clonidine 0.2mg (1am, & 1pm); Amlodipine Besylate 10mg (1pm); Testosterone Cypionate (1ml) 1 per wk; & Hydrocodone 10mg (1 tab four times daily) can any of these meds cause a false positive on a hair follicle test? Cause CPS has taken our kids and is trying to build a case, but we don't do drugs and yet his hair follicle test was off the chart over 11,ooo mg showed up in his hair. I heard that Bupropion in Lisinopril can cause a false positive. And my husband used to use Lisinopril but has since switched to the Clonidine and the Amlodipine Besylate. I periodically am drug tested due to being on probation. My sister gave me one of her Saphris for a couple of nights due to insomnia. I tested positive for methamphetamine the morning after I had taken it. Can Saphris cause a false positive for methamphetamine?

My husband is in probation, has been doing random urine tests, and they did a hair follicle test that came back positive for methamphetamine. He has never had any drug but marijuana which he has been clean from for more than 6 months. What could have caused a positive test? He smokes cigars, and drinks red bull & monsters daily, and the super advanced whey protein. He drinks beer too. ## He also got a tetanus shot and was prescribed SMZ/TMP substitute for Bactrim. And took ibuprofen for cold.

Just something I been thinking about I mean logically methamphetamine burns fat cells which thc attaches itself to so wouldn't this cause an accelerated loss of thc in the system? ## I just took methamphetamine today 6-14-15. I drug test Friday. Has anyone heard of Vale? It's a drink that gets toxins out of your system. It takes about 1 hr to work and lasts up to 5 hrs. It's not FDA approved. But on the label it's guaranteed to work 100%. Has any used this product? If so did it work?
