I'm a non-user who tested positive for methamphetamine. I'm almost 40 years old, male, about 160 pounds, in good shape. I have tested positive for methamphetamine and I need help so I know who to contact based on the false positive. All I currently take is a no Afrin nose spray with menthol because I have bad allergies, a NyQuil cold and sinus, along with some other cold and sinus medicines, just depending on how severe my sinuses and allergies are. I have to have opiates in my system but can not have methamphetamine. My drug test is tomorrow I must clean the methamphetamine out for my ua.. I'm on a methadone program that gives urine tests once a week and this weekend I was finally going to have my take homes for coming up clean for 3 months. But today they told me I failed for methamphetamine and I've never used methamphetamine in my life! I'm currently prescribed Clonidine .1mgs 3 times per day, Xanax .25mgs 3 times a day, Trazodone 100mgs at night, and Wellbutrin 350mgs once every morning. Would any of these cause a false positive for methamphetamine? I'm desperate to find out what the issue is because this is the second time in the past 4 months. I really don't want this happen again after I finally get my take homes. For the last two weeks ive been smoking meth, nomore then two grams throughout that time. Havent touched it since yesterday aug, 20th. My mom is an ex addict and is against drugs now. She has some health issues and is currently taking different kind of prescriptions such as Norcos, Ambiens, Zanex and I think that's it. Today her Dr. drug tested her randomly and the test came back positive for methamphetamine. she has not done meth or is taking any methamphetamines. How can this happen? Hi. My son is living on the street in Denver, CO. He is addicted to heroin and methamphetamine. He wants help, but I can't find any place that will medically Detox him. He can't make it through it without medication. I understand, as I'm a recovering addict from heroin myself. Does anybody know of a place he can go? He has Medicaid. ## Oh I know where you are as a parent. Have u looked into a rehab for Medicaid? My son also will be getting medicaid and will soon be in the same situation. What are my chances of passing a hair follicle test after this one time use? What is the proper procedure for a urine drug test in the state of Wisconsin? CPS gave me one yesterday that no paperwork was done for. I never saw the results. A social worker left and came back 40 minutes later and said I failed for methamphetamine and she tested it two more times and was sending it to the state. I never got to tell her about my over the counter meds or prescriptions. I don't know if it's my urine being sent and she took my granddaughter. I HAVE NOT DONE ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS.
