How Long Do Opiates Stay In Your Blood System Compared To Pee Tests?

I was on private property, police were called and I have a failed back surgery with nerve damage from lower back to feet. I was given a ua test on Wednesday when i seen my Dr. Opiates showed up. In blood test opiates did not show Up on Monday, what did show up was methamphetamines, which I and my wife were taking sudaephadrine and Advil cold and sinus in large doses 6-12 tabs every 5 hours or so. I was taking 220mg morphine a day, 6 mg klonapin a day, currently I'm taking300 mg morphine a day, 6 mg klonapin, and 20 mg of valium a day. I've been seeing the same Dr. For over 3 years every 2 weeks I get a ua and have never failed, I've been on over 200mg morphine for over a year and half. Is this possible or did they test the wrong blood???

Klonapin, (Clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine and my studies show that 50% doctors will say yes and the other 50% will say no. My belief is that the high amount of benzos in your system leans towards a "yes, possibly". Add to that the amount of cold medicine you've been taking raises the factor of false positive results drastically. Morphine is an opiate and if you're prescribed it there should be no concern from your doctor. My suggestion is to stop the cold medicine, drink lots of water or electrolytes to naturally flush your body of impurities and schedule an appointment with your doctor to retest with a blood draw in two weeks. If you've never tested positive before, your doctor will most likely dismiss the issue as a false positive. It's happened to me too and this method works well. Good luck!

It will be in your urine 3 to 5 days. If your are not a consistent user and you only took two Percs you can count on it being out of your urine in 3 days. Some people it's longer because of their weight and metabolism and some even shorter for those same reasons . An average person though in your situation (if your being truthful about your habit ) than 3 days should be enough

If you keep taking morphine you will mess up the gland in your head that makes opiates morphine is not supposed to be used for long term treatment your body will need more and more because of this I have many friends that morphine will no longer even touch their pain no matter how much they take I have a dual fusion in my back my first pain doctor put me on it it never worked so he kept upping it and would not change it finally he put me down as drug seeking I went right into withdrawal cause I could not find another doctor because of what he put in my file so I checked myself into rehab met a very good detox doctor who once understood what had happened explained to me what I typed above he changed my meds to suboxone before my surgery and methadone after I have now been seeing him for over five years with no problems and I am his only pain management patient cause he only wants to do detox and teach people how this stuff works so they can make better decisions please think about it look up what you are on and always back check your doctors they all mistreat patients and mess up there records not on purpose and sometimes on purpose I just found out by reading my MRI and calling brain injury researches that I have been getting misdiagnosed for the past almost 7-8 years I also found out that for brain scanning MRI's are out dated test it is sad that it took a bunch of NFL players to get brain damage for doctors to take TBI's seriously so now every doctor I see I get my records and do my own research you would be AMAZED at what they don't tell you hope this will help.

If I read this correctly u r saying u r pleased with ur doc that has u on suboxone for FIVE years. I truly hope this has helped u with ur pain. This doc has also sentenced u to a life long addiction to this opiate that u never get free of unless you are one of the lucky few. Didn't u use the word "detox"? Well, u r no where near being clean. I am 65 years of age, detoxed from methadone twice and maintain my addiction on my own terms. Please do not recommend methadone or any so called alternative, unless u just enjoy putting people in methadone/suboxone prison for life.
