Lyrica Lawsuit (Page 59) (Top voted first)

Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

My son still suffers from severe anxiety that he never had before taking lyrica 3.5 years after taking his last dose of lyrica and when he was on it and for a time after his hair was falling out by the fist full .

The standard thyroid test may not show that there is a problem. There's a more expensive more detailed test that shows many thyroid problems that the standard one doesn't show, so if your first test shows that your thyroid function is normal and your still having symptoms, ask your doc to do the 2nd test

I am a diabetic and have been taking this for almost 2 years 600mg, and it worked great and first and as far as pain goes it works great, somebody mentioned lowering the dose, listen if i even miss my pill by an hour for the second of of the day usually around 4 pm if i go until 7-8 or even 6 i get my pain back slowly, that isn't the issue, the issue is i basically hulk out and get extremely pissed and severely severely depressed, feel alone, and i think i feel this way a lot now, don't find joy in much anymore, i have diabetes, neuropathy, gastroparesis, and glaucoma from me not taking care of my diabetes, and the one drug that has worked is slowly driving me insane and i don't like feeling depressed or pissed off, i want to feeol normal again with no pain, i think this is no drug to mess with and anyone who thinks it's cool to abuse is ****NG crazy!

I have sent an e-mail to the programs '60 Minutes' and 'W-5'. This morning I received a reply back from 60 Minutes on how to submit a proposal for a story. They ask that you either mail or e-mail the story with the following guidelines:

They mentioned that they receive a large number of story suggestions each week and cannot guarantee response or return of materials.

If a 60 MINUTES producer does not contact you directly within 4 to 5 weeks, you may assume that CBS News is not going to report your story. I will be completing my story and mailing it off today, as well, my letter will include a link to this site. I would urge all of us to submit their own story to them as well. Have a good day.

Hi Judy, i would suggest you tell 60 minutes about this site and the Lyrica survivors page, so the journalists can get a feel for what is going on with this very horrible drug, this is actually a very interesting mufti faceted story.

Yes there is a class action suit in the states. I live in Canada and our version of the FDA is looking into also. Go online and just Google lyrica class action suits and you should have no problem finding one. Law firms in Canada are just now picking up the thread.

sorry i cany seem to find any help for a class action suit in the states I live in Fla and having a hard time after loss of by boyfrined of 23 yrs he died of a massive heart attack after taking this drug 1 day

Hi vicky: yes in the USA Pzfier who makes lyrica was sued by the FDA. SEE BUSINESS WEEK AUGUST 2013. There are a lot of class action suits now going on in the states. Just Google. In Canada I have spoken to the Managing Class Action Lawyers for all of Canada and they are now working on one in Canada along with our version of the FDA. HOPE this helps. I did all the research back in August.

Hello Carol, I am having difficulty finding a law firm in Canada who is looking into a lawsuit regarding Lyrica. I have contacted two, and it appears that if suicide isn't a factor they are not interested. Could you provide me with a link? Thanks.

Hi Amy...What you friend reports about the cyanide effects does not surprise me. I recently noticed that my fingernails and toenails have a wide band of yellow in them, with new growth which is normal at the nail bed. I wish I could say that things are gonna get beter, but Pfitzer should have studied this longer than they did. or, maybe they dont give a s***. They will know somethings up, because my Neurologist, out of Strong Mem Hosp network in Rochester, NY, is not prescribing it anymore. It will go viral thru the Strong network, which is huge, and hopefully something can be done. I'm going to find out after the holidays from my MD how to de-toxify my body safely, start taking some potent Omega 6 fish oils, and whatever else my doc suggests. Keep your chin up!!!

Hi Amy,
Unfortunately, your after effects are very common. I'm Wondering why there have been no studies done on damage to the body during and post therapy. We may never know, but I have a question. Is it possible for you to get some kind of proof of the lyrica having a cyanide effect on the body from your friend? This will help lawyers with the litigation. We need to spread awareness of this drug, and neurotin, because they are prescribing it more than ever!

I still have not found an attorney in the US that is doing anything with lyrica. I was excited to see some people saying that class actions have started, but I can't find any. I would be happy if they would pay all my medical bills. My health insurance dropped me because of this.

Every time a nrw side effect shows up, the side effect is added to the long list, as if it was there along. I doubt if anything will ever be done, too much money has exchanged hands.
