My point really, is that a friend of mine got very sick from this pill last night containg the imprint AZ 217 being brown-ish and round, I would personally like to know what we are dealing with around here, but of course I cannot locate this pill's name anywhere. This page is the only reference to it, and there is no information to be found what so ever. If anybody has any info it would be greatly appreciated. ## This pill is a generic Senna laxative containing 8.6mg of sennosides. It's a laxative... ## Further, it is marketed by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Huntsville, AZ. The NDC # is 0603-0282-21. The package says: Natural Vegetable Laxative gently r...
I SUFFER FROM CHRONIC CONSTIPATION AFTER A DIVERTICULITIS OPERATION. I NEED TO TAKE PAINKILLERS FOR A BAD DISC CONDITION IN MY LOWER SPINE - SUCH AS LARIKA OR EPLEPTIN OR OTHER. WHICH IS THE BEST TO TAKE THAT WILL NOT MAKE ME DROWSY NEITHER MUST IT AGGRAVATE MY STOMACH - pLEASE HELP? ## Hello, Hans! How are you? Unfortunately, those side effects may occur with pretty much any of them. The only thing you can really do is try different ones and see which causes you the least amount of problems, while alleviating your pain. You may want to start with something like the Lyrica to see how well it works for you, since it's not known to cause as many side effects as some other choices. It's most common can include dizziness, drowsiness and weight changes. Are there any other questions ...
please explain Naltrexone can have markedly different pharmacokinetics at ultra low doses which may include the attenuation of a pre-established opioid the prevention of tolerance from the oxycodone in the formulation, and the possible amplification of oxycodone ## Think of it as wiping the slate clean. Thats what naltrexone does to the opiod receptors thereby "erasing" tolerance and making the receptors more sensitive again ## @John, I don't know if you may be looking for a second opinion on this, but I think the previous post does a good job of putting into perspective how Naltrexone works to prevent the tolerance of opioids. According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, a 100mg dose of Naltrexone is said to provide a 96% blockade by the time 24 hours have passed, an...
I have been taking Linzess for several months for IBS-C. I recently tested positive for celiac disease but my gastro dr. missed this result on the 7 page lab report before he did my endoscopy and did not biopsy my lower bowel, intestines. All of my biopsy reports were negative for the endoscopy, but now i need to have lab work done again in 2 months to make sure that i am still positive for celiac. If i am i will need to have another endoscopy done with more biopsies taken. Has anyone else been diagnosed with IBS-C and now tested positive for celiac? If so, how does Linzess affect celiac disease?
Updated in LinzessHas anyone experienced itching or a rash while taking Linzess? ## Hello, Louloubell! How are you? Yes, those can be side effects of it, though they are very rare. Have had it checked out? It's important to do so to make sure that you aren't having an allergic reaction to it. Other side effects may include heartburn, stomach pain and weakness.

UpdatedTo all of you who find that the A333 doesn't work as well as the Watson 932 you are right. i have been using the Watson for 3 years now with great pain reduction and no side effects. Now after 3 months on the Actavis A333 I am in a lot of pain and am constipated most of the time. Since the FDA allows a 20-25% tolerance, a 10mg pill could only be 8mgs, lets face it you know its not going to go the other way, that would cut into profits. As an organic chemist dealing in DNA & RNA production for the monomers I can tell you that the slightest change can make all the difference in the end product. I can bet the farm that Actavis made the A333 cheaper than Watson so therefor that is why the chemist at Actavis make it and not the chemist at Watson. Any variation in production will make...
I bought a very effective laxative in Belguim but lost the bag on the trip home. The pill was a small round purple pill in a blister pack. Can anyone tell me the brand? ## I know this thread is only a year old, and I don't know the brand name, but it could be bisacodyl. Click here for a picture.

UpdatedI am suffering with sciatica that is either caused by, or made worse by ulcerative colitis causing pain in my left leg. I am often constipated as a result and it makes the pain unberable at times. I know Diclofenac can cause stroke and I was wondering how safe it is to take Colace with it to ease the constipation being that they both contain a type of "sodium" ## Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Colace/ Sodium Docusate is a stool softener. ## It isn't that they contain types of sodium, it is just the base ion of the exact salt that the medications are derived from. You shouldn't take anything, without your doctor's approval, but these aren't like the sodium you are thinking of that's found in food or table salt. Is there anything else I can hel...
This has been prescribed - - there is nothing on the [Rx] label, or the container, stating the ingredients. (I suppose because it IS a prescription.) I have searched far and wide trying to find out the ingredients; is it a combo of colace and ducolax? or simply some company trying to trade on the syllables "duco", since ducolax is a well-known brand name! Thanks. ## From what I could gather, Dulcolax stool softener is the same thing as Colace. They are not different other than the brand name. That said, it does make sense that Ducolace would simply be another brand name of the drug (from a different manufacturer perhaps). I'm surprised the pharmacy who filled your prescription didn't give you more details on it. It seems like they try to get people out of there as quick ...

I see lots of people here who need a cheaper alternative to Suprep. The Mayo Clinic recommends 8 Bisacodyl(Ducolax) tablets and 2 bottles of Magnesium Citrate split over 2 doses. This is just as good as Suprep and produces the same result. Many other clinics have similar recommendations. Do an internet search for "Ducolax and Magnesium Citrate bowel prep instructions". In my opinion, Suprep is just a convenience. The end result for either method is the same. You take laxatives and drink clear fluids until nothing comes out but clear fluids. It's not rocket science. ## Thank you for providing this information, William! I am sure that it will help many. But, before anyone follows these instructions, please check with your doctor and make sure that it is safe for you to do so. ...
Does the drug have polyethylene glycol or poly propylene glycol in it? ## Hello, Popeye! How are you? What are the markings on the tablet in question? There are several on the market, so I can't check with inactive ingredients for you, without knowing more details. I don't think these are in any, but I'd like to be sure.
Looking for a dark blue capsule with MLW written on it. You take this diet pill only once a day. ## Hi Nancy, I think I may have found a possible match to your description. From what I could gather, a blue "softgel" marked with MLW is identified as a Maxiloss Slimming pill; made in China. The product label states that they are Herbal Diet Pills containing extracts from the following herbs: XianXian Cao Jobstears Artemisia Dracunculus Psyllium Husk Bamboo Shoot Lotus Leaf. The description even lists a Model Number (KZ-MZT012) that may be helpful for verifying additional product information. Lastly, I also wanted to add that the recommended dosing guidelines for this pill are shown as, 1 capsule (taken once daily) 30 minutes before or after breakfast. Hope this info helps to answe...
In 2006, I suffered from a bomb blast accident in Mumbai, and in 2010, I was met with a near fatal road accident and suffered from a neck fracture, whereby steel plates were put in my neck. Under the aftermath of these accidents my left side of the body has become very weak. Though I walk in the house, I get tired if I go outside. Now one of the problems is acute constipation. My doctor says that my large intestine is not pushing the stuff. I have been taking a half tablet of Cremalax on alternate days to pass the stool for almost a year and I don't feel good in my stomach nowadays. I sometimes have to take Cremaffin Plus to clear my bowl. Is there any non-habit-forming alternative for it or can Cremalax/Cremaffin Plus be taken life long? What are the side effects? Please help.
UpdatedI found a small orangish-redish oval shaped gel pill with the imprint NV 13 on one side ## Hello, April! How are you? The NV logo is used on over the counter products, for instance I am familiar with one that is a Laxative that has the marking NV12 and is the same type of pill. That leads me to suspect that this may also be Docusate, but I am not completely certain. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this?
I knw it's a laxative is it a stool softner as well?? I really Need to know! ## 44 326 pink pill ## Hello, Richgurl! How are you? Yes, it is frequently used for both, but the dosage usually differs. It's considered to be a stimulant laxative, so it may cause nausea, stomach cramping and gas. Is there anything else I can help with?
