I was given this prep to use for a colonoscopy (Prepopik). I always tell my doctors that I am allergic to sulfa and penicillin and I know they do not have the time to research all meds at the office visit. Several years ago, I was given Hydrodiuril which had hydrochlorothiazide in it. It was a dedicated nurse that found out why I had such a reaction to Hydrodiuril. I ended up in ICU for 3 days. Can't afford it but have to have it done ## Suprep is a bowel prep product, used for cleaning out the intestines before certain tests and medical procedures. And we have had others ask if there were assistance programs available for this product, but unfortunately, there aren't. I think you may be talking about Lactulose, which is used to treat constipation and liver problems. It also makes sense with that dosage. Side effects may include abdominal cramping, diarrhea and flatulence.

I have been on Linzess for 2 months and continue to have constant rumbling in my stomach and intestine if I eat 30 minutes after taking the medication. Sometimes it gets pretty intense and I get sick to my stomach. If I don't eat until lunch, it happens and by then I am nauseous from not eating so it's even worse. I have been on Linzess for about a month. I have not had any of the severe side effects mentioned, just the bloating and gas. Does anyone know when those side effects will stop? For the most part the Linzess has worked, I am having regular bowel movements. Since I am so bloated it is hard to eat and therefore I have lost weight that I did not need to loose. Any way any insights would be appreciated! ## Hello, Ag! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Have you looked into taking anything that may ease the gas and bloating? I'm not sure, but you may be able to take Simethicone with it, if your doctor approves it.

I take my Linzess in the morning, I love it. I was wondering if I could take the rest of my morning medication at the same time as I take the Linzess? I see no food or drink for 30 minutes but other than that... ## What other medications do you take? I'm sorry, but I'll need more details in order to answer your question. ## Strattera and verapamil are the two main ones that get me going in the morning, also I take vitamin D, magnesium, tramadol, meloxicam, and biotin. I took Miralax daily for 7 days after a bad bout of constipation and stopped after it made my stools too soft. It's been 5 days since I took it and my stools are still very irregular- they're sticky and long, and far too soft. I normally have very hard stools. I've been eating healthy and plenty but I haven't gone much since Friday morning, and I normally go each morning. I have just found a pale orange capsule. It looks as if some of the lettering has either faded or worn away. What I can make out the letters are MUC. On the other side is 376. The capsule has white powder in it. Really worried as I've checked our medicine box and nothing like it is in there. Please help. I am suffering from chronic constipation for the last 30 years coupled with gas problem. I have possibly all available medicines like pan -40 mg, zintec-150 mg, Razo-20 mg, some laxatives etc but of little use. Is endoscopy the only option left in my case. I am 40 years old female. I am taking nitrocontin 6.4, Ranozex 500 mg and lipicure 40mg after angioplasty for 90-95% blockage in all the three arteries for last one month. I have had difficulty with orgasms after taking Resotran for the past seven months. I also take Senokot and Colace. I am 63 and post menopausal on Bio identical estriol and Progesterone. Could this be due to the laxatives? ## Hello, Judy! How are you? It is most likely due to the bio-identical hormones that you're using, both play a role. How much of the progesterone are you using? It's usually the one that turns such off, so it could be the culprit. Estrogen usually does the opposite.
