Rumbling In Tummy Are Pretty Intense...

I have been on Linzess for 2 months and continue to have constant rumbling in my stomach and intestine if I eat 30 minutes after taking the medication. Sometimes it gets pretty intense and I get sick to my stomach. If I don't eat until lunch, it happens and by then I am nauseous from not eating so it's even worse. Anyone else have this problem and what do you do???

Hey tummytrouble, Hope you've managed to tame the rumbling in your stomach. From what I could gather, most of the side effects associated with Linzess are gastrointestinal related... with symptoms ranging from unusual & severe stomach pain, gas, swelling, or pressure in the stomach region.

If it hasn't gone away yet, I would suggest contacting your doctor immediately about this problem, because it may be that your body just doesn't agree with it anymore and is therefore more prone to its negative side effects. That's just my theory anyway.
