Colon Cleansing Capsule

I am not exactly constipated but needs lots of pressure to move out the soft stool; somebody suggested to use Pro-biotic Capsules like Vibact DS; Is it correct and safe?

(1) Well I am an Indian,living in Kolkata,West Bengal,India
(2) I am 72 yrs Old male.
(3) I have retired as Marine Chief Engineer from one of the Indian Company (Merchant Navy) on 2002.
(4) I was in Boston,MA,US from 12/9/13 to 05/6/14 with my daughter.
(5) I should say I am chronic in constipation; I have started taking Pro-biotic Caps at Boston.
(6) I definitely observed an improvement in passing stools,i.e. I had stopped giving much pressure.
(7) Somehow, I feel now though I am taking same caps, one at night, I need to exert pressure.
(8) I had once operated for Piles in 1986 or so.
(9) I do not have any pain during ablution.
(10) On consultation, I have recently taken total 10 Caps( one at night) of Vibact-DS(Pre & Probiotic Caps), I do not find any improvement.
