No, this medication is actually an antidepressant and, according to the U.S. FDA, its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. So it is not useful in treating IBS, constipation and stomach issues. What has your doctor advised you to take?
I am looking for a coupon to help purchase the Suprep Bowel Prep Kit. I am unemployed and need this procedure done. Is there any help out there? ## Unfortunately, no there isn't. We've had several people ask, because it is expensive, but since it is considered to be a product that is only used in certain circumstances and not life-sustaining, the company offers no coupons or purchasing assistance. While this is generally the preferred product, there are others available, so the only thing I can suggest is speaking to your doctor about using an alternative. Are there any other questions or comments? ## hi, you can go to internetdrugcoupon.com they have coupons to help with the cost of the suprep. i just got one. ## Just ask your doctor's office for a sample box that they get ...

Thanks! the difference in cost is substantial...$117 Preppie vs $48 PicoSalax..not sure of shipping costs ## Hi suegue, From what I could gather, both medications do seem identical. However I haven't actually come across Prepopik being available in 12mg doses. However, there is also a chance that your body just needs time to adjust to lower sugar levels. I have been on Linzess since August 2015. By February 2016 I began having heart problems, short of breath, pounding, racing, and palpatating. I have seen a cardiologist, and had a echo cardiogram that showed problems. I went for a heart cath, but only had minminal blockage. I wore a holter heart moinitor for 24 hours, and there was many instances of pounding spontaneous rapid increase in my heart rate, which is what I had been experiencing. Additionally, my lips, tongue, and nose begin to feel tinglely, and numb feeling. I was put on heart meds, and they helped for a bit, but are not working now. Has anyone else experienced heart problems with linzess as well? ## Hello, Esther! How are you? The FDA doesn't list such issues as being among the known side effects for this medication, t...

Does "well woman original" cause loose bowel movements? I'm taking it with black cohosh as I'm menopausal. Multivitamins may also help. I am stopping black cohosh and taking another herbal supplement for menopause. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? With the iron in it, it is more likely to cause constipation, rather than diarrhea, as reported by the U.S. FDA. What other supplement are you considering and what menopausal symptoms are you trying to treat? Virtually any supplement that contains a high amount of magnesium can cause diarrhea, so you may want to watch out for that in the future.
Can you tell me does liness clean your whole colon? Are how much cleaning do you get y us Iiness ## Since the effects of any medication tend to vary for each individual, I think it may ultimately be best to work closely with your doctor on finding a safe and effective dosing regimen. Taking it in close proximity to food is something that might also affect how well it cleans. I'd recommend browsing through some of the related Linzess discussion broads here in order to get a better idea of what results are being reported. According to NIH.gov, Linzess is said to work by increasing the motion of food and waste through the stomach / G.I. tract as well as by blocking pain signals - but it goes without saying that the amount of movement or cleansing taking place can unfortunately only be ...

UpdatedI just had a child on the 10th and the brilliant nurse at the hospital told me to take Miralax when I got home to help move my first bowl movement. Needless to say it transferred to my breastfed newborn and now neither one of us is happy. How long will it take to get out of both our systems? It's been 3 days and it doesn't look like there's a light at the end of this tunnel. ## Hey, first off, congratulations on your new baby! Second, sorry to hear about what you both have been going through! I should say first and foremost that if your infant is having diarrhea then you should let the pediatrician know ASAP since it could be considered a medical emergency for the baby (they can get dehydrated very fast at such a young age). As far as the Miralax goes, there is fairly limite...
I took linzess the next day after the doctor prescribed it to me and went pretty quick. Also cleaned me out. I take one every other day. So far so good. ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? I'm glad that it's working for you, some people haven't had good results with it. Have you experienced any of the side effects that the FDA warns you to expect, such as bloating, nausea, stomach pain and diarrhea?
I was told I have visceral hypersensitivity without ever having any testing to rule out other possibilities. I suffer from constipation but the stool never reaches my rectum. It stops above the colon. I only have pain when my bowels get full (fecal loading). I don't get sick or anything from eating. I believe there is something wrong with my bowels, but they are not blocked. When I get so full of stool I end up in emergency and they don't offer anything but an x-ray and say yes you are full and send me home. I have pkd stage 4 and my so called specialist has me taking miralax twice daily which gives me diarrhea and drives my blood pressure through the roof. I don't buy into the visceral hypersensitivity. Does anybody have any feedback? ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? I'm ...
I had an awfull expierence with my first and only dose of Linzess. I expierenced severe dizziness, lightheadedness after the first 3 hours. Then I noticed a rash on my face, swollen eyes, wheezing, sneezing and severe itching. These symptoms lasted 18 hours + and I continue to have an itching face the next day. I took benedryl evey 6 hours for 2 days. After reading the Lizness website, I found I expierenced "Rare" side effects and I have called Actavis to report my adverse reaction. ## Yes, those are typical symptoms of an allergic reaction, as listed by the FDA and it usually means you will need to refrain from taking this medication in the future, as these types of reactions can get worse with repeated exposure. How are you doing, now? Has it cleared up? ## I have Been taking ...

I am looking for the name of a Laxative. They are hard deep red coloured round pills. Aprox 7mm across. It was a laxative but came off the shelves in the UK about 10-12 years ago. I heard they may have rebranded with a herbal version. They came in a foil blister pack. I think the outer packaging was green and the name began with a N although i cant be sure of this. ## Were they shaped like an american football? There is a medicine for stool softening agent, slightly gentler than a laxative, called colace that matches your description. it is sold over the counter in the USA, and you can research this to see if it matches what you seek.
