Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 11) (Top voted first)
UpdatedIt's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?
I know that brand.. those are the Yellow ones right?.. I didn't know we could ask our doctor to do that.. ty for the 411!
Yes, Anna. Just have the doctor write on the script that it should be Qualitest brand only. My pharmacist told me this when I received a differnt pill for pain from another pharmacy (white pill) and I happened to stop by our local pharmacy to ask him why the white one didn't work. He said to just remember to ask for Qualitest brand generic. Glad to help.
I asked for Qualitest from Walgreens and CVS and they said they do not order that.
Then when asking a few other pharmacies they did not want to say what they carry.
We are still being treating badly. CVS has only Mallinkroft. The pharmacist is very rude and I saw no difference in that one and Activis. What annoys me is Activis calls their brand Watson.
Malinkroft is a rip-off. Did absolutely nothing for me. If you have a Costco nearby, they carry a different brand than Qualitest, but it worked okay as an alternative to it. If your doctor writes Qualitest brand on the prescription, any pharmacy should be able to order it for you. I would try Costco first. Best of luck and gentle hugs.
I enourage all of you to get in touch with your Congressman and let them know what is going on. The FDA needs to be investigated and some semblance of normalcy needs to return. I am still able to get Qualitest (yellow pill) but my doctor writes on the prescription Qualitest only... no substitutions. Hope this helps.
@Veron, you are the type of people who make it so hard for people with real pain issues to obtain meds. You are only taking these drugs to feel high and mellow for the rest of the day. Get out of your mother's basement and get a friggin job.
Hi Sandy, I tied to start a petition online with these free web builder site kits and supposedly as advertised free search engines. Well, found out that they really weren't free, neither the web building kit nor the search engines. I am on a fixed income so I really can't support a website that is needed so bad. So from here, I'm not really sure where to go. But one thing is for sure. I'm glad you are keeping this issue alive here because I think it may make people think about not having their meds.
Are you people here not chronic pain patients? Or have u only recently become them? How do u now know bout this war on pain patients and the cdc guidelines that are and have been harming us??? Please do some research and join some pain advocacy groups. Smh, this has been going on for years and getting worse. Soon nobody will have any pain meds thanks to this no good evil government. People need to do protests immediately before this gets any worse. There's been tons of petitions for years also. And somehow never get any signatures hardly. Guess nobody cares they will not have their pain treated soon at all.
Cvs gives the yellow family owned usually give watson but today i got m367 they do not work as goodat all.
I don't know how many more petitions they will let me post here but all you have to do is google petitions for opiates.

I think I know how you feel Sandy. I used to hate getting up for work and now being disabled realize how much I loved it and took it for granted. Also by my downside is because I feel like I'm living in a different world that I knew and grew up in. I think that is what you mean by downside and of course our age. We just got to keep on truckin'. Do you remember that expression? Anyway, I think Sharon is right. We never know what God has in store for us. I also would like to thank Medschat for posting the petition links. I just hope all readers will do what they can to help and I hope you all can get the meds that will work for you.
I have read on line that Soma was scheduled years ago but I think that some physicians did not know about it. My first prescription about six years ago the pharmacist warned me and said she did not like the drug and that it can be abused.
I was angry that she was poking her nose into my care.
I also worry about losing my meds because there is too much emphasis on opiates and they have been targets, all of them , even codeine and the less potent drugs that are schedule 4. They do not seem to realize that the fentanyl is the drug on the streets killing people..
Re: Sharon (# 454)
Soma is a mild muscle relaxer. It helps me during the day when I have muscle cramps or distal neuropathy acting up. I take the 2nd one at bedtime to relax and help me sleep. Hope that helps.
Re: Paul (# 456)
I know I am lucky it is still prescribed. It should never have been put in the same category as Norco. I hope everyone here can find pain relief with something that can be sold without fear by the doctors for writing it. It is getting way beyond rediculous, right?
Re: Paul (# 460)
Sorry but what she says is true. I'm a pain patient and yes they are now very insensitive to pain. My quality of life has went way way down because of the government pulling meds of the shelves. Cutting doses and no doesn't matter if your straight up legit like I am they are highly insensitive. This is hitting ALL pain clinics you may just be lucky right now but its coming soon. They will be cutting pain meds out and I'm already up the creek.
Don, it is not the compactness of the pill, it is the quality of the brand and the amount of medicine and fillers used. My pharmacist recommended Qualitest (the yellow pill) brand only as the others are of lesser quality.
I am 75 years of age, going through pains on most parts of my body, like most elderly.I listened to Dr. Dean Edell for 25 years & I respect & accept all his medical info. Based on his ample medical knowledge, he stated dozens of times that you are not a narcotic addict if you take up to about 4 opium pills a day. I take 1 10/325 in the morning to somewhat minimize the pain & 1/2 or 1 pill late in the afternoon. That is sufficient to allow me to work all day & do all my other activities; some pain but tolerable. if you take more than 5, you will eventually need more & more.
Re: Bonelli (# 4)

RANDY VILLAPANDO (# 481) --
Hi Randy, I think you are right about taking to many opiates. For a while (at least for my condition) I thought more was better. But I did find out that the opiates where giving me more pain than they were helping.. So I backed down from them and took a good muscle relaxer with it and that worked a lot better for me at least. No matter how many you take does not make you an addict if you are trying to deal with the pain. But the script should be followed. I would propose that if they do not work for you, than try something different or something that will work with what he could give you. It is no cure for me because the pain is still there but takes a lot of the edge off of it. May help me but others I cannot say.
Re: Toni (# 480)
I agree my pain gets sooooooo bad that if I took 3 Vicodin ( 10-325 ) it won’t relieve my pain and there are days I can take one and it works! The brand I take is Norco do you find a different brand works betr? I have herniated disc, bulging disc’s, spinal stenosis, bone spurs and severe pain most of the time i’ve had C6 C7 fusion and I had my left hip replaced on 2years ago In my right hip replaced in August 2017 had such a bad infection when I had my left hip down that I had to go back in 25-40 min surgery to clean out my left hip turn didn’t literally lasted three hours I was on IV pick line for six weeks of antibiotic and now three months off and antibiotic twice a day and believe it or not that’s the short version of my story but is there anyone who knows of a pill that will help? I’m allowed by the pain specialist that I have to see every 28 days to get a new prescription in person five of the 10–325 a day they say anymore than that they can’t give me but the kicker about that says they want to put me on Fentenol and I said absolutely positively no way no how I have a five-year-old granddaughter to take care of and I need to have my wits about me can anybody please help me any other painkiller gives me terrible side effects besides the Vicodin thx
