Could I be rebounding from Gabapentin withdrawal or fibro pain getting worse? I was prescribed Lyrica because the pain has just gotten worse and worse with Gabapentin, and am now tapering off of Gabapentin. I've been on it 22 months. Was up to 2400 mg last fall, but the first of this year I tapered down to 1800 and have been at 1500 to 1800 a day since. My doctor told me to taper 300 mg every 2 days. I think that is probably too fast. I am now down to 900 (as of last night). My pain is even worse and I wonder if part of the pain is rebound effect. A few days before I saw my doctor my pain suddenly got much worse. But now it is even worse yet. I have gone from taking usual dose of 2 Vicodin 5/500 a day to taking 2 Vicodin at a time to get any relief at all. And still the relief is ab...

as soon as I got off double doses of gabapentin(300x6), I got nausea every day for weeks. I have acis reflux, so we thought it was that; could this be a reaction to total withdrawal? ## To answer your question, yes, that does sound like withdrawal symptoms to me; especially if you didn't take the time to taper off. Any one suggest what to use for very bad sciatica taking gabapentin 900mg and paracetamol can u takevitamin c and any other vitamins with gabapentin x thanx ## Based on my research, Gabapentin does not list any drug interactions with food or drinks other than alcohol. So there shouldn't be any problems taking it along with some multivitamins. Vitamins and minerals however are in just about every type of food/drink that is on the planet, other than junk food. So if there was an interaction of some kind everyone on this drug wouldn't be able to eat; which would be quite unfortunate Lol. Regarding other treatment options, I've heard a lot of good things about "infrared light therapy" devices/treatments being used for this type of nerve pain. Perhaps that's something...

With the acid reflux, it's quite easy for your gastric system to be upset and set off balance, so it could even have been a combination of both factors.

My mother used Trigabantin 100mg to be relieved from nerve pain in legs . now she moved to USA and we didnt find this medicine in USA . My neurologist has me taking 1200 Mg of gabapentin and my pain specialist increased that to 3000 Mg a day. Although another drug article I found states that, "Efficacy was demonstrated in clinical studies over a range of 1800 mg/day to 3600 mg/day. Is there a rapid drug test for neurontin? Or does it always take longer? I took a neurontin and was tested for them a couple days later. They told me it was positive but it seemed like they got the results very quickly. I was just curious because they took the test like 3 days after and it came back positive. I thought they were out of your system in 2 days. I am just concerned because i do not know if im being lied to or not to trick me into telling them that i took one. This has happened to me in the past.
