I am located in Arkansas near Little Rock and I need to find a doctor willing to prescribe pain medicine. Please help if you know of any doctors in my area. Thank you.

I have been going there for 4 yrs now and the docs are great. And I get what i need and have never had any issues except when I first started going they had a doctor there who was a total a**hole! He is gone now thank God! They do random drug panels to weed out the crack heads and don't take insurance, but u can file it with ur insurance. You can Google it - it's the only pain management clinic in Roland. If you call them they will tell you everything they need you to bring in and do for an appt. For those of you who don't know, Roland is right across the state line in Oklahoma, right next to ft smith. I know it's a drive but it's worth it. I hope this helps. God bless.

St matron clinic in Roland Oklahoma. It's a drive but they can help u. Search pain management in Roland ok and it's the only one there.

I need to find another doctor, but I made a big mistake. I had been taking 90 Tramadol a month and 30 Tylenol Codeine 4. I ran out of my medications and I couldn't get in to see my doctor, so I went to another doctor that a friend had suggested. I got 60 Tramadol and no other medications. I went once, but that was all it took. My regular doctor found out and said his hands were tied He could not see me anymore. I would not have gone back to that other doctor. It was a one time thing. I am worried every doctor out there will see in my medical records. I have a lot of scar tissue that hurts everyday. I have never asked for anything stronger than Tylenol Codeine 4. It would really be nice if I could just take that every 2 months. Do you know of any doctor that would understand and will prescribe that?

I also have chronic pain and have had my meds decreased to almost nothing. I used to be happy and enjoy my life even though I was never pain free. Now I can barely walk and I stay in tears. My pain is severe and I can't stand it much longer. Are there any doctors who will help me? Are they all being threatened? I know mine was. We are being treated worse than animals. How can I protest this? Who should I write?? How can they be so cruel?

Hey water boy 1971... I was with dr Daidone for 2 yrs b4 Rabien took over... This man is horrible with God like complex and will not listening to you I had to fire him I could not see him anymore he kept me so upset now I too am searching for another pain doctor in NWA any suggestions I loved Dr Daidone !!!

My heart goes out to each & every one of you, having similar experiences. My case is very complicated. I have the best primary Dr I've ever had the pleasure to help me. Could go into a lot of detail; however I'd like to stay with the topic at hand. My pain Dr. is Garlapati @ Arkansas Pain Management. They also have physical therapy and other offices like the Fibromyalgia clinic (have not used). Dr Morse at the Rehabilitation side is phenomenal! Great communication, great staff & able to find diverse & multiple solutions. Their office is located in North LIttle Rock, Arkansas. I have been treated there for 2 years & hope to keep seeing them so long as I am dealing with many diagnoses that contribute to my high level of chronic pain. God bless yh'all

I have been seen for years in Springfield with Dr Ben he is good at anabolic steroid injections that really help me, I most my insurance in MO. Now I live in Harrison, AR and am on new Obamacare insurance that doesn't work out of state.
So I'm looking for a referal to a spine Dr that's good at shots, and will take Ambetter insurance. I'd prefer to go to Fayetteville as my daughter lives there and you always need a driver after the procedure. Thankfully I have a PCP who is willing to prescribe me pain meds and is sympathetic to my extreme pain and doesn't treat me like a criminal.

U may already know but anything with codeine (tylenol 3, hydrocodone) will affect the liver over time. Can send liver enzymes thru the roof and if ignored lead to lymphoma to full blown liver cancer. I like my dad was, am very sensitive to the codeine. My doc switched me to oxycodone and tramadol. Tramadol is similar to low-dose demerol. Works fairly well with a muscle relaxer. Tizanidine can be taken during the day n not make you sleepy like flexeril does. Hope this helps.

Still no further. Tired of this. My life is a box. I used to love being on the go and now I'm limited on what I can do. Help is nowhere to be found. And I just need help getting rehabilitated. Getting my leg back right.

I've done more research. Lord help us. The doctors also. First what needs to be done is go to the state relentlessly. Kind of like the pain you're feeling. My wife tells me that I'm just stupid for staying with this, I'm not though. I think about what I go through day in and day out and think that's just me. They will tell you that our region is highest in pain meds per capital. Think, we have no unions to lighten our load we are in the heart of the hardest working places in America. Wow, they made something that would help us through our days of agony. Then, take it away. I've been somewhat bedridden for 5 days. PT, trying to get my leg back. They don't care. This all stems from a know-nothing Arkansas board. A company years back of whom lost track- they really didn't- but, they had no records of where certain amount went. A large amount. Well to reboot, kill them all. Therefore the folks who really need them will find them elsewhere on their dime, not the state or the country. Once they have depleted the streets then they have control again. Yet, don't they know they have no control over the illegal, it's the legal they can kick around. We care wether or not we have felonies on our records. We want to do right. They have just found out what it is to have control over something. They've never had it before. They don't want to let go. Truth, if some people were so inclined, they could get a ticket to canada, go visit their doctors and return with a 3 month prescription. There's a little more to it than that but, not much. The problem is control. If that someone did so, they would have control over something. Then greed kicks in. Instead of helping, they hinder. Because instead of being human, they start selling them for 30-50 dollars a piece. Depends on how bad you are hurting. I'm glad to say I don't have the heart for that. In a world where you hurt a dog, you're a felon. You hurt a human? We have souls, families, children we'd like to entertain and enjoy their company while they are ours. Instead, a lot of times we stare at 4 walls, in depression, thinking, my wife doesn't deserve this, my children don't deserve this. Hey, daddy will you go outside and play ball with me? Answer: I'd love to buddy but I'm hurting right now. A few times it's gonna happen. Every time he asks, just to play ball with his dad, a broken hearted child, a failure feeling dad. It doesn't just affect the person hurting! I'd like to hate them for that. It's not in me to hate. I wish they felt like me sometimes, that's bad though, I shouldn't wish this on anyone! I just pray that something happens. Someone who's not a yes man-woman, doesn't matter to stand up for us less fortunate in health. I wish you all the best, may god ease all of your pain, and please don't let this harden any hearts. Just know what needs to be done.

Hey, saw where you lived in same town. Did you ever find one? Please let me know, I am still looking. Was in car wreck back in 97 and have severe back pain. My PMS cut my pain meds more than half and hardly making through the month. Hope to hear from you.

I meant to say Cal girl. I also went to Chapman. He cut my pain meds more than half and muscle relaxers also. Please let me know if you found somebody? Maybe we could share ride since I live in Yellville.

I've had neck surgery and was on methadone and oxycodone, here recently my dr cut me off the oxycodone and cut my methadone way back. The work I do is strenuous and I lift over 100lbs and it puts pressure on my neck. I'm looking for a good pain dr in the Little Rock area can anyone please help give me any drs names. Thank you
