I need a doctor in the pgh area. I have had 11 back surgeries, chronic pain and anxiety. My pcp gave me a month to find one... Please help.

I am looking for a pain clinic in New Castle Pennsylvania or Butler Pennsylvania or somewhere near there that will write for narcotics. I had three neck surgeries and need another.

now the mother of my children....my brother and me all have to fill at the same pharmacy how do i know if they wanna fill all them c2s.....me and my brother inherited ankolonding spondoloysis... so we both get 30s......also im saving some extra metthadone put to the side an extra 30 10 millogram methadones just in case i have to go on a pharmacy crawl

I go to see my doctor on friday and im going to pour my heart out of how i believe he should sue period for defaming his name just because u have alot of patients so what hes not a bad guy he follows all the rules he has discharged plenty in his time. Its just wrong what the dea is doing to doctors in general in particular my doctor and his practices.....why carmen and nikki cant us 3 discuss our two areas yours is 96 miles away from mine....but we have the same doctor we dont have to mention too many details but im upset...there is a reason walgreens corporate isnt taking them. The goverment said something to pharmacists its a witchunt ill be telling the director/owner friday morning bright and early.

Pain is doing great now....im just upset walgreens wont fill anymore all of.a.sudden and cvs out willowgrove never had it....nor any other cvs out my way maybe up your way carmen...but u know im in no way trying to give out my main docs info hes my buddy i just am mad i used walgreens for 2 years and now its no more makes no sense

Hey guys hope ur doing well..... I read both of ur post... I fill at a cvs and since it such a small amount n it every 2 weeks they never once haven't had my meds...

I put a post on here that they habe been shutdown b4... that's y i told Nikki not give that info out.... I wouldn't be surprised if there being watched again... that's another reason I didn't want people giving hints bout where us 3 go.... the only time I've issues with cvs was when I was getting 300 30s a month plus 180 dilauid 8 mg a month also 120 2 Milogram bars plus muscle relaxer n nerve blocks..

I hope were In agreement bout no more talk bout our doc on here... So hopefully u guys reply with ur thoughts n how u too are handleing ur pain

Antman. I have been having problems with cvs too. May I ask which Walgreens you went too? I go to a small family pharmacy downtown by the courthouse now. Cvs told me they didn't have them in stock and referred me to another cvs that's open 24 hours. I called that cvs and the lady was very rude and told me that location didn't have any in stock either. I said wow that's so strange, a major chain pharmacy and no location has this particular medicine and milligram in stock. It's not like it's an unusual or strength. I think cvs in general just doesn't like dispensing narcotics, however I do know of another pharmacy that won't take scripts from our doc either. Stick to small family pharmacies rather then the chains. But do tell some more info, if possible. Like what exactly did they say to you, and did they give a reason? Thanks.

Pa. is getting bad, don't blame the docs, it is the dea, they are pressuring docs to cut back on meds, I am on disability and have a really messed up back. I went to a great pain clinic for awhile, but it was closed down, I was on oxycontin when I worked, but when I went on disability, I had to pay for my meds, so the clinic I went to gave me 30 mg oxycodone, but they gave me less dosage than he did. I get 6 a day and I know they won't give me more, but I read some of these stories and I am grateful. Right now, it is harder for me to find a pharmacy. Right now, I have a good place close by.For a few years I had to drive an hour round trip to get meds. Now I get Mallincroft all of the time,I used to take Activas, which I thought was better, but you can't find them round here. Warning,If a drug store tries to give you Rhodes brand, don't take it, it is super weak.

For all the people that see the once every 2 week doctor....walgreens has stopped taking prescriptions from that group of doctors; they filled mine for the last time - this is very serious!!! Please chime in without giving out any details on our doctor and his group of doctors.......also it seems to be a witch hunt going on cause pharmacists very close to the office i go to say that the drug enforcement agency was asking a host of questions about the practice and leaving literature and pamphlets. Now i've gotta find a new pharmacy. THIS IS BAD.

Hey I just the post of u saying srry and thank you I appreciate that.... believe me I know the pain makes ur mood change at the drop of a dime... it happens to me all the time..

AND I do feel bad for people also that's the main reason I helped you... I was told by an old nurse of mine that I shouldn't help people ne more n that hurt me cause were all in the same boat..

But one last thing could u plz not drop n e more hints because the hints u gave make it very easy to figure it out... I won't bring this issue up again unless I see something that should be on there so I'm also happy we cleared up this silly issue...

Hey how are u doing..... as for the place being raided it was like a yr n a half or 2 YRS ago b4 I started going there.... it hasn't got raided a second time... maybe u misunderstood me.... I said I didn't want it to get raided a second time... Well I'm glad that were not argueing any more.... I'm surprised u can go in for a Saturday appoinment because my friend that went there b4 said that there only pm docs on Mon n tues n Thursday n fri.... So did u finally ask again bout extended release meds n if so did u get them.....

I might have some good news for u in a few months I might have a better doc for us who will do like 180 30 mils a month with a breakthrew pain med and n extended release... as soon as I find out I will let u know.....

We're h the person who listed they had a jersey doc but u needed a jersey address.... So has ur new pain lessened........

Also just for your own peace of mind Carmine, I am going out of town so I called today to see if they could change my appointment and if I could come in today (Saturday) and they agreed, however now I would have to go on Saturdays instead of Mondays and I would have to see the "drunk doc". However for the time being that is my only option I guess. Anyways I was talking to the girls at the front desk today and I asked them if they were raided again and they said absolutely not. They said that there was a problem a few weeks back and the police were there because two people got caught selling pills in the parking lot right after their appointment, what dumba**es, but as far as the place being in anymore trouble that's definitely not happening and we are in the clear. Just thought I would let you know, have a good weekend.

Sorry to flip out Carmine. Honestly my pain has been making me all sorts of edgy and rude lately and I do apologize. I do feel bad for a lot of people on this site because I know how frustrating the whole process of finding a doctor is and how it's even harder when you are hurting and have to will to even get out bed. But just know even though I may drop a hint here and there, but rarely do I do that, I would NEVER give out the name of the doctor we see or the practice. Glad we can clear things up.

I don't mind u listed the other doctor that's fine that's none of my bussiness.... the only part I minded was when u listen the town n the amount we pay that makes it very easy for people to guess.... and I just don't need this place getting closed down again...... that's all just plz don't list n e thing else bout the place I gave u I did it out of th kindness of my heart to help, n u agreed to the stipulation

In this post im going to describe the main chararacteristics of this outlandish new pain managment bill that pa congress is trying to pass. So here it is..........[1] The medical director has to be in EACH pain clinic 50% of time....[2] The director or owner must have board certified doctors present in each pm office/clinic and or the director must be board certified. [3] They must register with the state of pa meaning all pain clinics must pay a fee and register with the state of pa. [4] They meaning all clinics are subject to inspection at any time...but will be inspected once a year no matter what. [5] A current list of the AMOUNT of existing patients plus NEW patients receiving opioid/opiate treatments must be given to the state on a regular basis.... IN MY OPINION THESE RULES WILL DISMANTLE TOO MANY CLINICS AND OFFICES BECAUSE MOST OF THESE DOCTORS DO THIS TO HELP US!!! AND HAVE TOO MUCH OVERHEAD ALREADY. I PRAY THIS BILL DOES NOT PASS. IF IT DOES, 70/75 % percent of us on this thread are in TROUBLE....feel free to disagree with my post and voice your opinion, you'll be respected no matter what. Your stand is.....my stand is... I need my pain meds, my doc needs his buisiness and really cant afford all that overhead!!!
