I need a doctor in the pgh area. I have had 11 back surgeries, chronic pain and anxiety. My pcp gave me a month to find one... Please help.

I've been looking into trying a certain route for Pain Management. I'm in ElectriCity. I won't go into all of my details, as I've done so in previous posts you've seen. I will just say that I am in daily pain (started about 10 years ago at 18-19 minor and has increased) and it's affecting every single aspect of my life. Physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. It also affects my girlfriend, because she has to live with me and see me endure the pain. I feel helpless is what it comes down to. I think I'm going to try a different direction that isn't really a typical "pain management" center, if that makes sense. I have no interest in giving out any names on here. Once I find the help I need, I probably won't be on this site, and if I am it would only be to offer support for others in pain, but I understand why you don't want people sharing names. It's totally understandable and I'd be the same way. I would just like to know if I'm on the right track and if its worth a shot. So.. I have been PRAYING that this pain situation would be figured out. I've been dealing with it BH in some form since HIGH SCHOOL. It's so In-CONVENIENT!!! I just hope I can find the help I need soon. My life is no life at all. Thank you guys for listening. I wish you all the best.

we all need to get along ........please were all in pain.....and our doctor has too many patients as it is....dont worry that doctors name that was slipped on here is a ruematologist and he aint giving out NOTHING.....unless you have a current serious medical condition nobody should be mad at anybody....lets all enjoy our pain managment freedom before yall slip up and say the wrong doctors name and well all be screwed....

hi everybody antman here .....just like nikki and others i have the 80 dollar every 2 week doctor and on my last appointment which is every 2 fridays ...i had to tell him there is a new congressman bill going around...and im gonna bring him a copy...its from a represenitive of pa congress a new pain managment bill ..the bill hasnt passed yet but if it does hundreds and thousands of people will be affected....i want my doctor to be in the know so im gonna present him a copy...and as for all the bickering on here cant we all just get along.....we all make mistakes lets just keep certain doctors names off the thread so we can keep getiing our painmeds....

I don't think u should apologize. U helped this person out by giving them ur dr when so many others are in need as well and all u asked is that they did not tell anyone else the name of ur dr. That is way fair. They should respect that honey!!! You are a very good and decent person!!!

N I'm not trying be boss u around it is a free country... BUT WHEN U GAVE ME UR WORD U KNEW THE STIPULATIONS WE AGREEDED UPON B4 I GAVE IT TO TOU..

I don't act like he is our doc but be I gave it to u we agreed that giving out his info was not allowed... belive me I feel bad for other people too.. I helped you because I felt bad for u but if u want our place to get shut down then keep giving out hints....ive never came act u in a nasty way I've only tried to help people...... never once did I act like u owe me for giving you his info....but when I agreeded to give it to you YOU GAVE ME YOUR WORD THAT YOU WOULDN'T GIVE OUT HIS NAME OR HINTS.... So I only say something when u do something u vowed you would not.

Man oh man some people in this thread are on their high horse that's for sure. Sit down and be humble , we are all in equal amounts of pain here. I don't owe you my life because you told me a Dr's name, although I am forever grateful, you could stop bossing me around now telling me what I am and I am not allowed to say here. This might be about the fourth or fifth time you have came at me about giving away the doctor like he's •OURS• or something and if you go back in this thread I have never once mentioned his name ! Say one more thing to me and I will give away his name.

Carmine I didn't even say what Dr. we go to maybe you should read my post again because I mentioned a completely different doctor that my friend goes too. I never once in this whole thread mentioned what Dr. we go to. If I want to talk about the prices or the city that he is located in and let people figure it out for themselves I am allowed to do that it is a free country. I am getting tired of you telling me what I can and can't do. I am still abiding by what you told me you're not giving the doctors name out but if you keep yelling at me for every little thing that I say on here or say one more thing to me about what I am or am not allowed to type I am going to give the doctors name for everybody to know, this is a free country you can stop trolling me and acting like my mother. Like I said I never once mentioned what the Dr.s name was, I am so pissed off for the way you keep coming at me that I'm about to, leave me alone.

Hello everybody it's antman here......Pain well under control with my wonderful doc I see every other friday....In which im happy to urinate in that cup.....Lol....In a way im happy he's doing everything like the dea is peeking in his window daily.....Just the other day a lady had all her records/mris and they said u need a referral...Meaning they were gonna turn her down for that one thing.....That's by the books....But nikki and the others that see the one I do for 80 every 2 weeks...In my face to face appointment I brought to his attention that a congressman from pa wants to form a legislation bill...Actually already has....Pa legislation to combat...And keep pain management clinics regulated by the state if that passes I told my doctor....Will u be able to register and do all that they want....?? He wants a copy. He didn't know about it so im gonna bring him a copy this friday at my appointment....I told him we don't need you going anywhere....We all need u. He doesn't talk much but I get him to speak lol...He asked me whats all involved...Its a strict bill and its gonna financially shut a lot of pa clinics down that don't have the money or resources to do all they are asking...

Hello everyone, it's been a minute since i've been on this page, been having alot of increased pain lately, not sure why, my sciatic nerve pain has been almost unbearable and recently, during the night, my knee pain has been waking me up out of a sound sleep. Anyways, hope you are all doing as well as can be.

Tara - If the doctor is making you pay $380 up front for the first visit this is not the Dr that Carmine & I go too. The doc that we see is $80 bi-weekly. No more for first appt. So keep searching, he is located in Scranton. I wish so bad i could give you his name, but i don't want everyone on here having it. Anyways i know a friend who just started going to a Dr Mark Cruciani and got prescribed 30 mg oxycodone and she was never on them before. So maybe you can give him a try?

Hey guys, I know which doctor you are talking about. my mom went to him for about two years. This man is absolutely horrible. His NP or PA or whatever the hell she pretends to be, is the rudest most ignorant b**** and a planet. And yes he does random every time you go in his office.

Hi Tara, any luck finding a doctor? I live up in NY and have been on a very low dose for a while now. Only take in evening and at night. Doc wants me to go AGAIN to PT. Been there so many times and I do regularly at home consistently. So I am looking for a new Doc. Any ideas?

Hi Mary, yes its VERY hard to find a good compassionate pm Dr who will treat u for ur issues and not treat u like a pill seeker....i read on Pa DEA page per Mr Payne that it's of no fault of the DEA that Doctors are less likely to prescribe narcotics to legit patients in need for quality of life. What a JOKE, of coarse they have something to do with it! How insulting for him to even say that, like we're stupid... Anyway Mary do u mind me asking what ur condition is that ur in a need of pm?

Hey like I told u earlier I have no problem helping but I can't do it on here like I use too.... and I told u I verified people info b4 I will tell them where to go... if I put the name on here to many people will go from different areas not close to the place and next thing u know drug seekers are going n then this place will get shutdown like all the others.

Hi Carmine, i thought i found a decent pm dr like 5 mins from me but omg theres a ton i have to go thru, which im 100% willing to go to moon and back but my insurance is making it super hard for me OMG! I need new mri, last one was like 8 years ago my pcp wrote me script with like 4 differmt diagnosis codes/cpts & insurance denies and wants a "face to face" with my pcp, which she will im sure do but shes on vaca for 2 weeks!! Sigh

I thought i found the dr u and nicki have but and was willing to pay outta pocket but he wants $350 for 1st visit with out insurance, thats too much, dont have that on hand. However my question was, maybe u could give me ur Dr with some clues that noone but me cpuld figure out....... u could give me a letter of ur Dr name by using the Dr we Both had b4 he got closed down name... example if ur dr is smith & our old Dr was jones u could say ur dr now name begins with the 5th letter in our old drs name. LMAO i know it sounds crazy but im desperate. I am running out of options. My days are misreable haven't gone to work the last 4 days hurts to drive sigh... Has anyone ever had to give a U/A when only being prescribed Tramadol? As all of you know I'm sure, Tramadol is s***, but it's what most docs will start you off on. Have a follow up appointment tomorrow & can't really imagine them wanting to test for it especially after I explain it didn't help at all. Will probably be honest and say I didn't even continue taking it because I don't like to take stuff that doesn't help just for the sake of taking it. I have some other stuff in my system, so I'm hoping I won't have to, or at least be able to get out of it somehow. Either way it looks like I'll be drinking tons of water.
