Updated in IndapamideCould use without side effects. Now my pharmacy doesn't carry this and uses only oval green pill marked APO. Instead of eliminating edema, I retain so much fluid that I can't wear my shoes and find it difficult to walk. Have asked pharmacist if others have had this problem and was told no one else had reported this problem. I have tried stopping and fluid decreases, although it takes several days, and waiting a week and starting again. I have done this three times and each time when I take the medication, the edema comes back. In fact it seems to be worse each time. Since this is prescribed as a fluid pill, what is going on and what is it doing to my body other than the edema?
