I can't find out what it is anywhere, someone on one site said it was FUROSEMIDE but I looked it up and it didn't look like it. ## I have the same pills and they were prescribed for Risperedol as a mood stabilizer ## Tasha is correct, this tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 0.25mgs of Risperidone, which is a very potent antipsychotic, it is used to treat various mood disorders, and some cases of insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, sedation, severe drowsiness, and weight gain. Are there any other questions?

What would happen if I accidentally took 2 Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5? This morning I wasn't sure if I took it, so then I took another one... I believe I took 2. ## Hello, Nick! How are you? Did you experience any adverse effects? This medication is a diuretic that is used to reduce the amount of fluid in your body to help lower blood pressure, according to the NIH. Thus, taking a double dose may cause your blood pressure to drop lower than usual, or you could become dehydrated, as reported by the FDA. ## Will it hurt me if i took a double dose of hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 today by mistake

The side that doesn't have 40 on it has a line down the middle but i can't read what it has going around the pill ## The closest match I could find shows that the pill is identified as Furosemide (40 mg). However the markings you are unable to read can significantly change what this pill could be. On this specific pill I located, the number 40 is on one side; and on the other side there is a score line across the middle, with the words 'Mylan' on the top half of the line and the numbers '216' on the bottom half. Does this sound or look familiar based on what you can see? Until we can figure out what the other side says, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere... ## Its a _____ and I...

diet pills ## Are these 2 seperate drugs or both combined for a single pill? There is info for Traimterene and Phentermine seperately, not sure if they are ever combined into a single pill though. Jake ## Jacob is correct, these are not available in a single tablet, but they are available separately, via prescription. The FDA warns that Phentermine is a stimulant, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and anorexia. Triamterene is listed as possibly causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Are there any other questions?

Did Mylan ever package Triamterene-HTCZ 37.5-25 MG CP that wasn't dispensed in bottles? My drugstore hunted for us and found the yellow & green pill, but it's not in a bottle, just a yellow flat pk. Is it counterfeit? ## There is no specific way a manufacturer is required to package a medication. While most use bottles, since it is cheaper, and more convenient, not all of them do. What are the markings on them? Can you please post back with this additional information? That is what would enable me to double check the contents for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

I was prescribed Pota chloride 8meq because I take Lasix for fluid retention and was told I needed to take a potassium supplement to replenish lost Potassium through the fluids I'll eliminate. Is there OTC potassium and natural foods I can take to just add potassium instead of continue to take the prescription? ## There any many natural foods that contain generous amounts of potassium. I supposed the most popular food is bananas. They say roughly 4-5 medium sized bananas a day reaches the daily value for the average adult; however, I know that we're all different and require different amounts depending on our current levels, so there's no one-size fits all approach, outside of tailoring your diet to meet your unique needs. Medjool dates are another excellent source of potass...

Need to know what a 25MG Oretic pill looks like. ## I think it's hard to say, there are so many different manufacturers and brands. ## This medication contains the active ingredient Hydrochlorothiazide, it is a diuretic that is used to help remove excess fluid from the body to treat conditions, such as high blood pressure, edema, or heart failure. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, dehydration, and hypotension. What are the markings on the tablet in question? I accidentally took 2 doses of my blood pressure medication (Triamterene-Hydrochlorothiazide 37.5 - 25 mg). What should I do or what could happen? ## Hi Marquetta, Sorry to hear about your situation. How are you feeling since taking that extra dose? My personal opinion is that it may be best to contact your doctor, local pharmacist and/or poison control just to be on the safe side. However, if this medicine is lowering your blood pressure, perhaps engaging in some sort of physical activity that gets your heart rate up could help counteract the possibility of severe hypotension. Please note that this is not medical advice, but just my own theory, since that's what these medications are indicated for... As far as what could potentially happen outside of low blood pressure, there may b...

I've just had an open heart surgery valve replacement the mitral one and it's been two months now. So I'm taking cardiocor, warfarin, synaleve or still pains if needed, slow k and mylan furosemide. So the lasix was draining me too much and two weeks back I stopped taking it. I am fine,no swollen stomach or legs and I drink not more than 1litre of fluids a day. Since I urinate very well should I continue not taking the lasix or do I have to take it until the doctor tells me to stop?

If you do not take this medication for 3-5 days can it cause water retention right away? ## Yes,I agree, especially during the warmer days. Also I noticed that after when I don't take it and I have a day where I sat for a while that my socks along my calf leave a mark. Has anyone else experienced this same problem? BUT I found a solution. My Dr prescribed a NON medicated fix which is comforatble. I wear medical legwear during the day even when I am sitting,ie..at my desk's pc working or standing at the sink doing dishes. Please let me know what anyone else found. ## I am on Hydrochlorot for high blood pressure and if I go even one day without taking my pill I get swelling in the legs, it almost feels like something is sitting on my chest and I am very tired. Please explain the difference between hcl and hctz in any blood pressure medicine. ## if i take benazepril hctz20.12.5 can i take benazepril hcl 20 mg ## Benazapril with HCTZ contains 2 active ingredients, Benazepril, and Hydrochlorothiazide. The other one you listed only contains Benazepril, the HCL just designates the specific chemical salt that it is derived from, which in this case is a Hydrochloride salt. Thus, you should take the one your doctor has instructed you to take. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, dehydration, and increased urination. Is there anything else I can help with?

My Dr prescribed Demedex 20mg once a day and aldactone 50mg 2times a day seems like a lot of diuretic too take I have a lot of fluid for some reason last time I took torsimide/demedex my sodium level was very low and I was hospitalized I worry about that is there any natural way to try and lose the fluid I don’t like taking meds to begin with ## Do you know why you are experiencing such fluid retention? Do you have high blood pressure, or a cardiac condition? That's really not an outrageous amount to take. It is also far more risky to allow fluid retention to remain uncontrolled, since that could result in congestive heart failure, which has the potential to be fatal. Do you eat a lot of salty, or fatty foods? Both could contribute to fluid retention. Are you on any other medi...

I have been on this for one week, 25mg X twice a day. A few minutes after taking it last night, I started with uncomfortable heart burn. As of almost 11am today, the heartburn is not any better. Anyone have a similar experience? Also, the sensation in my mouth (almost mint like) is really hard on me. Do these come coated or anything? ## yes i also have heartburn with this medication also awful joint pain and upset stomach ## Is heartburn one of consaze side effect i've been experiencing it but no sure if its because of conzace ## While I have never been able to figure out why, Spironolactone contains mint, which according to NIH studies is very well known to cause heartburn.
