My Dr prescribed Demedex 20mg once a day and aldactone 50mg 2times a day seems like a lot of diuretic too take I have a lot of fluid for some reason last time I took torsimide/demedex my sodium level was very low and I was hospitalized I worry about that is there any natural way to try and lose the fluid I don’t like taking meds to begin with

Do you know why you are experiencing such fluid retention? Do you have high blood pressure, or a cardiac condition?

That's really not an outrageous amount to take. It is also far more risky to allow fluid retention to remain uncontrolled, since that could result in congestive heart failure, which has the potential to be fatal.

Do you eat a lot of salty, or fatty foods? Both could contribute to fluid retention. Are you on any other medications?

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, dehydration, and hypotension.
