I need these as soon as possible because I ran out a couple days ago and I;m starting to get sick. ## I had a lumbar back fusion in 2008 and no one realized I had a small stroke, so after PT I was falling all the time and I also broke my tail bone on one of the falls. I am better in the morning but by 1:00 PM I am in terrible pain. After that I have to wear a brack in order to do anything. I have now been told I need the cervical and throtic spine done. My left arm and hand goes numb and my legs are also being affected. My docytor has told me the whole back has to be fixed and it scares me to death.I need another opinion so I can decide what I need to do. I need help, because I can't live like this much longer. ## Vette, I'm sorry, but this site does not manufacture, sell, nor p...

wondering how long after injection of a 2mg dilaudid with a 2mg klonapin? how long will it be detectable in my urine if submitting to a drug screen ## you can get it out in a week with cranberry juice and alot of exercise and water. otherwise 2-3 weeks. Most tests don't look for benzodiazepines. It depends on your activity level, diet,(fatty foods are bad), water intake, and metabolism. Careful mixing opiates and benzos, both can cause cardio and respiratory distress, compounded when added together, especially when it's injected in,(klonopin being a more extended release anxiety medication when orally taken). ## Like most other narcotics, the Dilaudid is generally detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. However, the Klonopin, which i...

I just had lumbar surgery at L5-S1and with that chronic nerve pain. My Dr precscibed dilaudid which works great for me however it causes me severe constipation. The stool softners and laxatives just don't work. It takes me HOURS to complete a bowel movement and that in itself cause more pain. Is there a substitute for dilaudid that won't cause such constipation? ## Constipation can be a side effect of all narcotic opiate pain medications, unfortunately. I frequently had problems with it, when I was on them. Have you tried adding a fiber supplement? That was what I found worked best to solve the problem and taking it regularly helped me to stay regular, as well.

I have been using dilaudid and morphine sulfate for the past month for post op revision hip surgery. and quit taking it gradually for the past week. How long does it take to get over the hot and cold sweats and the post op depression. ## Hi, Kathleen! Sorry about the symptoms you're still having. It's a bit difficult to say how long it will take for them to go away, it can vary form person to person and it could take a couple more weeks. Are you certain that they are all due to stopping the medication and having the surgery? There are other things that may cause it, including hormones, stress, your trepidations over the surgery itself… Have you consulted your doctor?

what's dylotin and what does it look like? ## Though frequently misunderstood, the name of the medication is actually Dilaudid, it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, it is a very potent narcotic analgesic. It has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation and dry mouth. Learn more Dilaudid details here. As to what it looks it, it is available as both a name brand and a generic manufactured by several different companies, it's also available in a couple of different dosages.. Which means that I can't possibly post descriptions of all of the tablets. However, if anyone has a tablet that they wish to have identified, please feel free to post and include the description of the tablet and any markin...

From your own experience, does anyone know which lasts the longest and works the strongest? Dilaudid 4mg pill, crushed and snorted, injected IM or IV? Thanx! Buy the way I love the honest answers from everyone, sure makes you feel like your not alone......... ## IM lasts the longest, but IV works the strongest. pain medication ## And once again… The name of this medication is frequently misunderstood and I really think the people choosing the brand name they are going to use should take such things under consideration, before making their final choice. There are far too many that are confusing. In this case, the drug name is Dilaudid, it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, which is a very potent narcotic analgesic. Drugs in this class have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. You can learn more Dilaudid details here. Are there any questions or comments? Is there anything I can help with?

is dalotta stronger then vicodan ## Yes, for each 5mgs of Hydrocodone, you'd only need 1.25mgs of the Hydromorphone in the Dilaudid. You can learn more Dilaudid details here and you can learn more Vicodin details here. However, they are both opiate narcotics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Dilaudid, generic-Hydromorphone 10-20x stronger then morphine. Dependind on administration route

I have an unfillable script it seems. Orlando fl dilaudid 8mg. Please help ## Sorry to hear about your situation. Not being able to fill a script for pain medication seems to be an ever growing occurrence for those living in Florida, where drug laws appear to be most enforced. If it's of any help, listed below is a pharmacy-locator site, that uses your zip code to find nearby pharmacies within a given mile range: pharmacylocator.unarxcard.com Phone numbers and addresses are included in the list after you verify your zip code; so I would suggest visiting a number of them to see if anyone can fill your prescription (calling them about medication generally isn't recommended, as they are often trained to say no on the phone if a stranger is asking for narcotics). Have you also tried...

M2 on one side, its white and is a pill ## If the tablet has M2 on the same side, then it is not a Dilaudid/Hydromorphone tablet. The one with the M2 on the same side, that's blank on the other contains 20mgs of Furosemide, which is a diuretic that's used to remove excess fluid from the body to treat conditions such as edema, hypertension and congestive heart failure. My boyfriend is taking 2mg generic for Dilaudid for a knee replacement. He had no problems in the hospital with the brand name drug, but is having horrible headaches since coming home and using the Generic. Does it make sense that the generic can cause this? ## Dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, & nausea are all listed as common side effects associated with Dilaudid (Hydromorphone), no matter whether it's generic or not. However it is likely the different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) of the generic version we're probably what triggered the onset of those headaches. I'd also keep in mind that generic medications can contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient - compared to the amount found in brand names. For some people, these subtle dif...

How many hydrocodine 10mgs would be equivlent to one 30mg oxycodone? ## You'd need 45mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal 30mgs of the Oxycodone. However, where you meaning Hydromorphone? Because that's the active ingredient in Dilaudid. Learn more Dilaudid details here. If that's the case, it's actually very strong and you'd only require 11.25mgs of it to equal each 30mg dose of Oxycodone.
