Just started taking canagliflozin about 3 weeks ago. Have lost about 10 lbs but feel horrible. Shaky, rapid heart beat just horrible. Anyone else have these symptons? ## Hello, Dee! How are you? Has anyone noticed a reduction in allergies when taking Metformin? Since starting the tablet 18 months ago (I was on 1000mg slow release) I have not needed to take anti-histamines. I even had a severe allergy to cats that also disappeared. Lately I have had diarrheoa which has been attributed to the Metformin and so I stopped taking it. Allergies have returned. My mother is 78 years old and has been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, for which she takes daily insulin doses. She also experiences severe pain caused by peripheral neuropathy. I'm curious if Ace Proxyvon would be effective in alleviating her pain? Are there any other medications that could potentially provide relief for her?

I'm out of my metformin which I'm taking 1000 per day all have is 5mg glyburide which I take twice a day how long can I take it ## Hello, Darrell! How are you? How did you end up running out? When it's a life sustaining medication, such as Metformin, you can pick it up a few days early. For these ones you don't have to wait until you are out or the exact day it is due. Have you called your doctor? Rather than switching, it would be best to have them phone you in a new prescription for your current medication.

Irecently had an EEG & EMG because my legs jump & twitch uncontrollably on their own! The Dr seems to think I have this meralgia paresthetica? I'm not so sure, since this is caused by nerve damage & I've had this problem since I was in my 20's, but it is getting to happen longer & more often as I've gotten older. He has also given me a prescription for a med called Metanx. Does anyone know anything about this too? ## I have the same problem-Restless Leg, Metanx helps during the day but I take Requip to sleep. Hi, My father suddenly had some memory issues, Had to undergo MRI and CT Scans, which revealed there was some bleeding in the brain and swelling, he has been complaining about headache all the time, along with memory loss issue, slowness in reactions, both physical as well as mental reactions. Doctor has suggested Dexona 4MG (Injection) which is given twice a day, right now. He is Diabetic and there is sudden increase in sugar (which is due to Dexona, as per doctor) and they have also put him on Insulin to suppress high sugar. Please explain if Dexona is recommended for anyone with provided symptoms. And what could be short term and long term effects of Dexona..... would request quick reply. Thanks, Regards

left my metformin home when I went on a cruise. stopped in mexico at a pharmacy right when you get off the ship....bought a bottle that says mevicfor but white ...no imprint and oblong shape...on side states victory enterpises S.A.DE C.V ## This is listed as containing 500mgs of Metformin, but that's the best I can do, there's no way to know if that's really what you've purchased, since it's foreign. Metformin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and hypoglycemia. I received Metformin in packets. They have no imprint and upon further I discovered that they do NOT manufacture METFORMIN. I am outraged. Is this the case. I will have to file a dispute and order real Metformin asap I need it for my diabetes. Is this fraud ## where did u get the metformin from? I picked up a generic refill for metformin. They have always been white. These are redish with a mavi or mav1 imprint on one side.
