Hello I was wondering if someone could review the meds my mom is taking? She is the nicest person in the world and would never ask but I feel like this is to many. She has high blood pressure and diabetes. Thank you so much!

IC Clonidine 0.2 MG Tab - 1 a day
IC Triamterene 37.5-25 MG - 1.5 Tabs
Ic Levothyroxine 50 MCG - 1 a day
IC Vit D2 1.25 MG - Twice a week
IC Escitalopram 20 - 1 a day
Bystolic 10mg - 1 a day
IC Amlodipine 5 MG - 1 a day
IC Metformin HCL 500 MG - 1 day

Hello, Mike! How is your mother doing?

The question that really needs to be answered here is how is she doing on them?

What are her blood pressure levels and what are her blood sugar levels? How about her TSH for the Levothyroxine?

Is she experiencing any bad side effects or other unexplained problems?

That is what will decide if the number of different ones she is taking are all appropriate, or not.
