Hi, everyone. I've been on 5mg dose of Mounjaro for 2 months and have lost about 15 pounds. I love the way I have less desire for food, less craving, and I especially love how I know when to stop eating during a meal. I don't experience side effects unless I inject into my abdomen. Then, within 2 days, the burps and diarrhea start. When injected into my thigh, no bad side effects. Is this true for anyone else? ## When I rotate injection sites, including my abdomen, I don't notice differences. But, at first I was always injecting on the right side of my belly button for a while (not sure but maybe 2 or 3 months). And at one point, I felt a slight pain in my abdomen, then my lower abdomen swelled up. Don't know if coincidence or contributing factor, I had taken 1/2 to 1 tu...

I just started Ozempic today and forgot to count to 6 after injecting the needle before removing it. Did I still get my dose in me?? ## Definitely not. ## Has anyone used their Ozempic after it froze? My whole script froze..7 weeks worth. It defrosted and looks OK... The warnings seem a bit dire, but my chemist said it might just lose some of its efficacy? Anyone taken it after defrosting? ## Can you still use your Ozempic if it was delivered hot? I have been on lowest does for 3 months and have lost nothing. Next week I start .05. I have no appetite and the constipation is AWEFUL! I JUST NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT. And I'm paying $500/month due to insurance not covering. Anyone else lost nothing?? ## I've been taking Wegovy for seven months, and I've lost 30 pounds (13% of my starting bodyweight). But my brother-in-law has been on Zepbound for six months - now up to the second-highest dosage - and has lost only about seven pounds (2% of his bodyweight). His doctor says he needs to sleep more to see conclusively if it can work to help with weight loss - he's getting only about five hours of sleep a night due to work and family responsibilities. ## Thank you! Is there a difference in cost between insurance vs no insurance and/or if you have type 2 diabetes vs weight loss program? Trying to figure out if the doctors office coded mine wrong.

First month started with 5 mg. Just started the next month with 7.5 mg. Lost 14 pounds. Used to take 3 meds total. Now just once/week Mounjaro injection and Jardiance 25 mg daily. Started my mother a few months ago. She is 80. She started with a few hallucinations, now much worse. It started shortly after and I’m tying it all together and wonder if this could be the case. Anyone experience this?

I’m looking for some feedback from other Mounjaro users. Currently taking 5 mg weekly, on month 3. I have had positive results in blood sugar, A1C decline and weight loss, however in the last few weeks I have had increasing sulfur burps, pass a lot of gas and have lower abdominal pain. I don’t move my bowels as frequently as I used to either (figured that was due to less food intake). Has anyone else encountered the central lower abdominal pain? I often think it’s gas related, but it’s starting to make me concerned that it’s something more. What experiences do others have?

I started Ozempic on July 24, it is now Oct 1 and I have only lost 8 pounds. I try to stay under 1,200 calories a day and I walk about 10,000 steps. My dose was 0.25 mg which is 10 units or 0.1 ML. Tomorrow, I start my 0.50 mg which is 20 units or 0.2 ML. My question is: Is it normal to lose only 8 pounds in 2 months? ## I've been on Ozempic for 4 months and I've only lost 10 pounds. I was just at my doctor's and she was well pleased, she said it's best to lose it slowly. I'm not as pleased though, of course I'm impatient from hearing of all the ones dropping weight left and right! Maybe it will come to me soon enough, I don't want to give up. Just hold on!

Does anyone have experience with Wegovy side effects (e.g. diarrhea), how long they last, etc? ## Diarrhea is listed by the FDA as a very common side effect of Wegovy, along with headache, dizziness, bloating, and heartburn. Ref: Medline Plus Wegovy Side effects typically hit their peak at around 4 to 6 weeks, after starting a medication at a steady dose, then taper off in severity. Has anyone else that's been taking this medication experienced side effects? ## I think the diarrhea is happening less. That may be because I eat almost nothing. I’m afraid if I eat regular meals I will poop and throw up. ## The diarrhea went away until I moved up to 1.7. Now it is severe. I was on ozempic for 1 year and lost 50+ lbs but came to a plateau so started mounjaro and have been on for about 18 weeks and no weight loss at all. I'm on 10 mg dosage now and have been for 6 weeks and no results. Am I the only one its not working for? Frustrated to say the least. ## I've done exactly the same thing even on the highest dosage of mounjaro and it's not working for me either.

Has anyone experienced skin sensitivity while on Wegovy? My skin feels like I have a sunburn. It's not hot, but feels real tight and hurts when touched or clothing moves or anything. No rash. Wegovy is the only new thing but it didn't happen til I had been taking it for 6 or 7 weeks. ## Yes! I am experiencing this also. Skin feels so sensitive, burning, sore to touch, clothes and touch uncomfortable. Did not start until higher dosages. ## I can't find anything listing this as a known side effect. Hello. I just recently started ozempic I'm type 2 diabetic and am overweight I've worked up to the .5 dose 2 more weeks I'll be on 1.0 is there anyone out there with any experience with this drug? At first I thought I was allergic as I broke out in a rash I thought was poison sumac, but not so sure now. Well, I have been on Jardiance for 4 months now. I have lost 42 pounds. I have reduced meds. But I have to say, I am peeing every hour, and am fairly incontinent. I also have a funny ashy taste in my mouth. Is there anybody else out there on this stuff? ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you? I'm sorry about the side effects that you're experiencing. As listed by the FDA, Jardiance is used to treat type 2 diabetes and help boost weight loss. The increased urination is normal, that's how the medication eliminated the excess sugars from the body, other side effects may include nausea, hypotension, UTIs and hypoglycemia. I have been on Mounjaro for about six months. I culminated at 10mg per week, then due to severe constipation and swollen lymph nodes and a swollen throat with difficulty swallowing I have quit. I have been off for about a week and a half, and the symptoms aren’t subsiding.

I started Ozempic in October 2021. I was 209 pounds. I am now 134 pounds. I first started taking Ozempic .25 mg for 3 weeks. I really didn’t lose that much weight and no s/e. I was still a little hungry then I was increased to .50 mg. My appetite started to decrease, and I did that for 3 weeks. Then I started the regular dose of 1 mg, my appetite definitely decreased. I started doing portion control. Eat 1/2 wait 20 min. I never wanted more. I always say to myself: you can eat anything .. just eat small amount .. wait 20 min .. still hungry .. you eat .. not you don’t. I never did. There are many times I had no or little appetite. My wife has been taking Ozempic for a while and has lost about 60 lbs. She sometimes stops after work for drinks with friends. Recently she got really drunk suddenly and got into a car accident. Has anyone had a similar experience? I think I know why some people go from tipsy to drunk really quickly. Any comments?

I am on 5mg of Mounjaro and I get these really bad burps that stink and so much gas I pass wind and burp all night. Painful amounts of gas! Any help with how to get the burps and gas to stop? I have tried Nexium and Gas-X, neither has helped. ## How long have you been taking it?
