Dbx-13 Scam (Page 9)

In January 2013 - I recently purchased a subscription to the Health Sciences Institute (HSI) newsletter and got the book "Miracles from the Vault." I scoured the pages to find DBX-13 which they advertised as the diabetes miracle cure, and couldn't find it anywhere. I called HSI, and after three attempts and by threatening to take them to court for false advertising, a response finally came by email. DBX-13 is called X-Cravings. But get this... it is no longer being manufactured. X-Cravings appears to be a formula to help you stop craving food... a diet product... and I guess they apparently felt this would help you lose weight which would help your diabetes. I placed a call to the manufacturer of X-Cravings, Nutricology. Tel: (800)545-9960 who claims they don't know that X-Cravings was called DBX-13 by HSI, and they said they discontinued X-Cravings last year (2013). They also don't have a replacement product for it either. I hate when companies like HSI scam you by offering you hope that doesn't exist, which is why I am posting this information.

Sherri, I have been waiting for an answer to this basic question for months, so don't hold your breath. Must have either been someone who only visited this website once or just another big serving of bologna.

Roger 15 yr. Diabetic - DMX-13 is one big HOAX being falsely advertised and pushed by SCAMS in all Nations then disappears! FORGET IT ! WHAT DOES WORK and helps me for almost 5 years now as of 10/25/2016 & I'm 69, CINNAMON 2000+ mg per day minimum up to 4000+ with LEMON & eat all the Broccoli you want. Take the Cinnamon anytime you want and the Lemon also, but you have to eat only Smoked Turkey, Fish & Chicken (skinless baked or Microwaved) & you have to eat Jiffy Peanut butter to get all the protein you need also and Eggs. Forget Bananas, Carrots, Corn and only ONE slice of BREAD a Day! Yes you can have Diet Pepsi, POP CORN! Cheat every week ONE day and have whatever TREAT you've done without. I choose Pumpkin Pie or Apple Pie, and GUT the whole thing in ONE night leaving the lower Crust only, but take 4000mg of Cinnamon and it works. YES I eat the WHOLE pie! Of course you'll see a Spike 225 to 275, SO WHAT, it goes right back DOWN! NOW GO LIVE YOUR LIFE, don't worry so much, you have Diabetes, control it. Just KNOW that it could kill you one day! Be thankful! Most people have to wonder what's going to kill them!! :o)

Regarding HSI, I'm afraid it's the same old sales pitch as so many of these 'health', alternative, and self-help sites use. 'Watch this video now'....... Interminable, repetitive, patronizing, instilling fear of imminent death....'in just a moment I will tell you what this miracle cure actually is but first let me tell you about....' etc etc. Then comes the hook, and you know that the sales pitch is coming - 'buy now 50% discount until tomorrow'... It's exhausting and time-consuming. We just need the facts so that we can make up our own minds. Best to research everything as thoroughly as possible.

If anyone cared to look beyond the scam crap and fear generation (simple wording to watch for that all scams use - such as HSI) you would get to realize that the supplement industry in the US is pushing $100 billion a year in mostly useless or
excessive stuff. People who buy into the fear and hate stuff about Pharma / FDA are clueless about how a human body really works and how to impact it. Just use your brain and think about the fact that real medical doctors, FDA people and pharma people also die of cancer. Do you really think they would hide cures? If yes you deserve the delusion and to rob yourself of good care that could be had. If you ever really witnessed the health situation of these "ancient medicine" cultures, you would not want to follow their herbal approach!! The US still has the best medical system in the world, even though the encroachment of supplement and scam companies since late 1990's has caused the US life expectancy to level and now drop for the first time since 1900!! People pushed away from medical treatment are dying un-necessarily!!

Your right they wouldn't hide cures but they would, and have been for years, pushed prescriptions for that almighty dollar! Many that don't do what they've claimed. Let's not be naive about that either.

Electronic communications are ruining the English language. Just because a message is a so called " blog" does not excuse the writer from using correct, spelling, pronunciation and grammar. Young people using their phones as their major means of communication are going to grow up with a total lack of grasp of what my generation used to call English. I shudder at what I see sometimes and it is now spreading into the printed media.

Spam for DBX-13 is still around. It's supposed to help you lose 10-35 pounds and drop your blood sugar to normal in 30 minutes. You can still eat what you want. It claims to also regrow your bones!

Just become vegan and no high holesterol any more. Many health problems will disappear. After 3 month becoming vegan I lost 13 pounds ( I didn't need it) and my holesterol went Dow from 129 to 80.
Food in America - it what makes us sick the most.

Thank you for being so honest ..I was about to order the books and join, when I decided to do a little checking on my own ....So glad I did .

Please don't be so rude, is punctuation more inportant than the information being shared?
I have broken my right shoulder on morphine using my left hand. As I am naturally right handed this is difficult.

I was both intrigued and interested in your discovery and reverse diabetes account of using natural herbs and spices. In particular, I'm interested to know what quantities you took using cinnamon, bitter lemon and Okra? I am also a T2 and taking 2000mg metformin per day + insulin.

I've been successful in reversing the risk of becoming a type 2 diabetes patient for life.

1. By adopting intermittent fasting for 12 to 14 hrs from dinner to lunch.
2. And by exercising regularly.

I started with a low calorie green smoothie (1 cucumber, parsley, 1 lemon with peel, 1 inch piece of ginger & a pinch of Himalayan salt) during fasting period. As for exercising, i started with walking (10,000 steps) and stretching since November 2016. Now i do 20 minutes of step aerobics, light weights, squats, lunges & plies, planks, ab exercises & hip flexors exercises. My fasting & post meal blood sugar is unbelievably normal & my hba1c is 6.2 & I've never been on diabetic medication. But i was at risk of developing type 2 diabetes because my fasting & post meal blood sugar was higher than normal & hba1c was also shooting up at 6.7
