hi i just wanted to know how you can come up positive for a cocaine oral fluid test when you have never used any drugs EVER! i have had a uti and have been on 4 different kinds of antibiotics and tested positive on a oral fluid test but negative on a urine screen how is this possible? they was both done on the same day and i dont know how this is possible or if maybe the oral test was wrong as i dont use and never have please let me know if any one has any info to help me asap

I have type II diabetes and take pioglitazone,metformin,and glyburide for blood sugar control. I taken pravastin for chlestorol and lisinopril for blood pressure. I have taken over the counter medications for or sore muscles. I don't understand how my results can be positive. I have never willingly or knowingly taken cocaine in my life.

I have never used the drug cocaine a day in my life. I took a drug test for work and it came back positive for cocaine. Afterwards I was told to get my kidneys checks cause I have kidney damage, so could this be why I came up positive for cocaine?

I stopped using September 1,2012. I've been getting hair tests done every month since November. All have been positive for cocaine in less and less amounts until the last one, levels doubled. I'm working to get my daughter back and am desperate for some answers. INPUT, PLEASE!!!!

I've never used cocaine, but was seeing a guy who kept asking me about a pill called Molly. Well I told him I never heard bout it until the rappers start talkin bout it then it showed up on fb saying this is a dangerous drug. Also it describe what was in it. Working in toxic sewage and sludge as a plumber under a famous hotel in Yosemite mtns. my husband got very ill (fever, seizures, dizziness, hallucinations) and was flown out to the hospital were he remained for about 2 weeks. There was no official diagnosis, but was said to be possible lyme disease or something else. Can somebody please tell me what side effects if any result from swallowing medically prescribed liquid cocaine mouthwash. ## I have been prescribed this mouthwash to be used as needed to relieve the intense soreness I am feeling at the back of my throat (almost like razor blades) after undergoing 33 sessions of radiotherapy to halt a cancer in mu mouth. Fortunately, surgeons and plastic surgeons were able to remove all the cancer (they think) and reconstruct my jaw and lower gum. The cocaine mouthwash (10mls) gargled is to relieve some of the pain in my mouth and way way down the back of my throat. i tested postive for cocaine in my urine and i dont use. my partner however does is it possible for my test to come back positive ## Were you taking any other medications prior to the drug test? Only asking because there are some types of medications that can also come up positive for cocaine use. Aside from that, the only other logical reasoning behind it showing up is if you possibly ingested some through contact with your partner, such as kissing or what have you. Does this seem probable? ## Does the methodone clinic kick u out if u test positive for cocaine?

I have a client who teste positive for cocaine in a urine test. Two hours later she tested negative. In the second test it said the creatnine level was low. I had her take a hair follicle test 71 days after the oringinal urine test which indicated no cocaine for the period of time which I believe was 90 days. Why would there be those inconsistencies? ## You should check with her about what else she was taking. There are some antibiotics that can sometimes cause these oddities in some people. For example, the sulfa based on that's commonly prescribed under the brand name Bactrim, which contains Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim is a known culprit for throwing off such tests and giving strange results. I found a pill in my boyfriend's room it is maroon/burgundy, round and it has a 1 on it and nothing else. You know I understand that there is the human factor and that mistakes can be made, but this is the second major time in my life that a UA has taken my life and tore it into shambles with no remorse or regret! found these pills in sons room. theyre green with yellow specks and smaller black specks. hes been using cocaine and heroine....if anyone can help me identify these pills it would help alot. ## It may be difficult to determine exactly what these contain, with no markings. We can, however, rule them out as being a U.S. prescription product, since they are required by law to have unique markings to enable their identification. i went to dentist,had some work done ,,and 2 days later went for drug test an tested positive for cocaine,,what did he use ,lli had a root canal done 3 wks before,and went in to do a crown,,,,i had a lot of pain he did inject me with a pain killer,,,what was it he could have used,,tryed to call him ,,but he went on vacation for 2 wks ,,pls advise.. ## It was likely due to whatever type of dental anesthetic he used in the shots. what are the effects of someone who is addicted to cocaine and taking recepton (cancer patient) ## It's probably not a good idea to take cocaine with any sort of prescription drug, let alone on its own, if you're really concerned about side effects. In regards to Epitec (lamotrigine) though, this medication is used to treat certain types of seizures in patients who have epilepsy. I can't seem to locate any kind of information on recepton. Can you double check the name or spelling of it and post back?

Can Pain pills give a false positive result in a blood test? My brother was admitted to hospital where he tested positive for cocaine as well as pain pills. He says he has not been involved with cocaine. He does have hepatitis C and we have been told if you have a bad liver you will test positive for cocaine. ## Apparently certain liver diseases can provoke a positive result for cocaine.
