Can anyone explain the stages and what to look for. I’ve been on Fluorouracil for 23 days suppose to do 4 weeks all over complete face . But face is peeling in some areas and turned a yellowiish crusty in some places. Also cracking and bleeding in tiny spots. Should I keep using it or is this the erosion phase. What to expect next?

I have quit treating my face and neck with Efudex and I am still peeling and having breakouts and the usual recovery. I am still treating my arms and hands. My work commute is 45 mins to 1.5 hours each way depending on the traffic with the average time in my car 2 hrs per day. When can I start getting that much sun exposure and it be safe? After applying Efudex to the scalp after a shower I experienced shortness of breath at about 3.00am in the morning. This is not recommended - I should apply it mid to late afternoon. I have had no further effects since doing this. Has anyone else experienced this? My doctor said I may be allergic to Efudex. I hope not. ## Hello Ern, Your doctor is absolutely right, nowhere on the efudex website or the NIH/FDA warnings does it say that shortness of breath is a common effect of administering this medication. It sounds very much like you are allergic to this medication and I strongly suggest that you have your doctor run some tests to verify if you are safe to administer this medication. hi i have been prescribed efudix for an ak on my cheek. i was give a leaflet which showed some really scary pictures of treatment, of course, when googled its even worse!! I wonder if anyone has used this on only a small patch on their face and if so did their whole face end up being affected as ii have read in some of the stories. has anyone not had any of the adverse side effects that the pictures show? ## My face has patches of dry skin on my forehead and on my chin is this cream good on face. Why is hsi giving people the idea that it is a mircle drug, when it cures nothing? The coined term 'H86' is part of their marketing scheme. My doctor started me on 400mg of megestrol to gain weight. Because of how quickly I gained, it was reduced to 80mg two months later. Could that change in dosage be the cause of clitoral atrophy? ## Hello Jessa, According to the National Institute of Health and their warnings associated with megestrol acetate I don't any warnings or adverse reaction listings that states this medicine causes clitoral atrophy, however, it does list decreased libido as a common side effect. My understanding is that clitoral atrophy is the decreased size and feeling of the clitoris which could be the result of hormonal imbalance and or restricted blood flow. I have been using Efudex on spots on chest, arms and legs for 2 months now. Most spots have blistered and turned into weeping sores, some have crusted up and turned into scabs. They are all extremely itchy, the itching drives me crazy when I’ve got these sores arms, chest, legs. Around Some sores that have scabbed over further red spots/lumps have come up surrounding the original sore, like it is spreading. My doctor told me to keep using Efudex until the sores have completely healed and disappeared, is this correct? My child was given a shot containing pneumococcal 13-valent when she was 2 months old. Her doctor told me that the vaccine is Pfizer Inc, but the vaccine needle was found to be Wyeth Pharm. Inc. I have been on clinical trial 2 yrs for myelofibrosis and wanted to know if anyone's health insurance is paying for the drug in case the clinical trial ends? What is the approximate cost per month? I have seen it is around $7000 month on another website. Any info would be appreciated. My wife is on tasigna for over a year now and has gad some moderate heart problems first a slim heart rate 50bpm then latter up to 170bpm. Not on the same day. But also a lot of unexplained pains. Dr says it's not tasigna but only started happening once started on them ## According to the U.S. FDA it can cause those types of symptoms as side effects. She may also experience nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, difficulty moving and loss of voice. How long will she be taking it? Does she take any other medications? ## I would check out all the lawsuits lately, it’s insane the conditions tasigna can cause! I reached out because of my own terrible side effects.

Hi, I've had abnormal/irregular periods since I started my periods. They've been on and off since day 1. I would go for months without any sign of bleeding or spotting. Three years back I would spot for weeks and after it would be a normal period; last year an unusual spotting started to come in a brown color. It went on for weeks as well. I then went to the nearest clinic n got famynor which stopped the spotting. In between the month of usage the spotting came back as periods and the famynor couldn't stop the bleeding, only to find a huge clot that came out and I thought my problem was solved. I had stage 3b subungual melanoma and after they did an amputation of my thumb and lymph nodes dissection, they lowered it to 2b, but when the results came back they said I'm cancer free yet still want me to take opdivo (nivolumab). Does anyone have any experience with this? ## That is normal, just in case some cancer cells were missed by the testing, most people are told to continue takint the relevant medication for a certain period of time. I’m a 35 yr old female that had abnormal bleeding from PCOS and after a blood transfusion, put on megace to stop the bleeding. This was in July 2017. I’ve been running high fevers since October, non stop. Highest 103.0. I’ve been admitted and they’ve ran every test imaginable. Have you consulted your doctor for assistance? They may have samples, or they might be able to suggest an alternative medication. My father is diagnosed with spinal comoression fracture, the mass possibly metastasized from prostate cancer. His doctor prescribed mosegor for something like sleeping or pain relief.
