I am 81yr old and suffering from high blood pressure I am not dabetic ,no artery blockage.Iwas taking nebicard5mg in the morning and minipres xl 5mg inevening from last 18months these days my B P remains high in the range of 200/100 Dr added sartel40 in morning but there is no decrease ln my BP I also take atchol ASP at bed time ## After applying stent my Dr advised me to take sartel 40, ecosprin 70, novastate 10 and clavix. I was just prescribed this 1x/day to treat palpitations that I frequently get after a meal. Not necessarily the increased heart rate type of palps, but more so the being able to feel every beat in my chest type of palps. What concerns me is that my sleeping heart rate is normally 48-51 and my normal blood pressure often dips to 90s/50s and on the rare occasion can fall to the high 80s/40s.
