Can I take forskolin as well? I weigh 228lbs. ## I am sorry, but since Forskolin is classified as a supplement, I have not been able to find any information on this. The FDA doesn't require testing for them, as it does for actual medications. Has your doctor instructed you take it?
I BREAK OUT HORRIBLY ALL OVER MY BODY. COULD IT BE THE HYZARR I TAKE DAILY? I ALSO TAKE TRI COR. ## I have been occassionally taking Tadlafil (Megalis 10) for many years. I feel this caused red patches appearing over the skin on my hands and legs. I have discontinued Megalis since last one year and the patches have now darkened and not going off even after using Candid B or Candid cream. How can I get rid of this patches. ## Yep, it's the meds. I finally figured this out on my own after 5 years of misery. I now have meds compounded and my skin has cleared. Help yourself and speak out! ## What type of breakout are you experiencing? Is it a rash, or hi...
I have been on it 2 times a day for about 3 weeks. For the last 2 weeks I have had this constant non-productive cough. I do not smoke and I am not around smokers, Also I am 60 years old. Could this drug be the reason for this constant cough? After I cough for so long I get winded and have trouble breathing. I also have had some stomach and nausea but I am overweight and the good side is I have lost my gigantic appetite. Should I contact my physician and ask to go off because of the constant cough? I just want some suggestions I am not going to get anyone in trouble, I am responsible for my own health. I just wanted some additional feedback. It seems that doctors do not have the time to become an expert on all the medication so it is up to the patient to get information to take to the do...
I have had uncontrolled high bp 35 years. I am called hyper sodium sensitive and have been to many research drs. If you are on multiple bp drugs this one works alone. I highly recommend this for people that are struggling to find the medication ## Hello, Dan! How are you doing? I am so very glad this medication is working so well for you! Have you experience any of the typical side effects that FDA lists, such as nausea, diarrhea, increased urination, hypotension, and dehydration? Unfortunately, it may not work as well for others as it does for you, since we are all different. Are you on any other medications?

I've just been prescribed 5 mg Amlopidine daily for high blood pressure. How quickly will it work, as my BP has been averaging 166/118 for several weeks and I'm keen to see it come back to a more reasonable level. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hypotension, and increased urination. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
Just took my 1st dose ever of Lisinopril and first noticed feet itching. Have slight itch all over. I'm not taking another dose reading here. Plus some of these people, maybe they should know about "toxic epidermal necrolysis" ? even a 10 in a million chance after viewing that disease, I wouldn't take anything that could cause it. ## There are risks associated with every medication, though some can be frightening, it is just the nature of adding a chemical to the body to try and correct a problem. You will not find any medication that is entirely risk free. The typical side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased urination, hypotension, and headache. My husband checks his bp daily and when it is in normal range 120/70 he doesn't take his lisinopril (5mg), however when it creeps up (about every 3rd day) he takes one. Is this safe? ## Hello, Terry! How are you? No, this medication doesn't work fast enough to be taken only when his blood pressure is showing an elevation. To have its full beneficial effect in the body, it needs to be taken consistently, as prescribed by his doctor. He might actually have himself in a rebound cycle by taking it this way, a rebound effect, which can include elevated blood pressure and heart rate, occurs due to a sudden withdrawal from such medications, but the issue is that at some point, he might hit dangerous levels that could lead to a heart attack or stroke. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor that...
I just received my refill and they just gave me proprananol instead of proprananol er, is there a difference?capsules verses pills ## The only difference is that those capsules are time released over an extended period of time; as opposed to the normal tablet that goes in your system all at once. The capsules will stay in your system longer because of this extended release (ER). Not all capsules have this function, so it is really just when you see abbreviations like ER or SR (slow release), that you should expect the effects to last longer. Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about this drug. ## have been taking a "Propranolol capsule ER (80MG)" each day to treat essential tremor. I just received "Propranolol tablets (80MG)." Should I st...

I have been taking Lexapro for the last 10 months. I have recently stopped. This week I feel very light headed, dizzy and absolutley exhausted. I am having difficulty sleeping also. I have had a pretty busy week as I work and I have a daughter of 18 months to look after also. Can you advise me of a course of action please? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Why did you stop taking the Lexapro? It contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant and, after taking it continuously for that long, a sudden cessation will normally result in some withdrawal symptoms and rebound effects, because your body has gotten used to having it. Usually these medications need to be tapered, over a period of time, to help prevent the worst of these problems from occurring. ## I ...
I have white coat and anxiety. My doctor has had me on Metoprolol 100mg succinate once a day and just switched me to 100mg tartrate twice a day since my BP was high in his office. Is this dangerous or the dosage too high? Seems like a high dosage. ## Hello, Kera! How are you? What are your bp levels at other times? If it's really only high, when you're in the doctor's office, a medication isn't necessary. Even an ER won't treat for that, they will only do so if levels are dangerously elevated. As to the medication, it is actually safe in doses up to 450mgs a day. ## I take Lisinopril 10 mg a day and Metoprolol 100 mg at night. My blood pressure is still elevated around 150s/90s. My cardiologist has told me to double the Metoprolol to 100 mg a day. That seems like a l...
