I've been taking 2x 50mg Losartan for 8 weeks and am experiencing quite severe pain in my hands and feet, especially during the night and early morning. Is there an alternative to Losartan which doesn't cause these nasty side effects?

My wife has been taking S Amlong 2.5 mg twice a day for the last 3-4 years. Can she take Amlodipine 2.5 mg instead of S Amlong 2.5 mg? Does it make a difference or is it one and the same medicine? I'm 34 year old male suffering for hairloss & thinning. Want to start treatment with I've planned to start some non "DHTInhibitor" treatment for my Norwood 4/5 & thinning hairs with Minoxidil 5% (topical solution) & Ketoconazole-2 % based shampoo but got too confused on vitamins and supplements. I take lisinopril twice daily (once at breakfast and once 12 hours later). You are not supposed to eat foods with lots of potassium while taking lisinopril, but how long can you safely wait AFTER taking the pill to safely eat high-potassium foods? I take metoprolol at the same time, and it must be taken with food. ## There is no safe time frame that can be quoted to you. Terrible angina on minor exertion. Legs need cat scan for vascular blockage. Isosorbide 30mg helps angina for 12-15 hours then I might need a small nitro tablet.
