Could you please let me know of other drugs in the vasotec family? I was told not to use vasotec or any other drugs in this family due to the reaction of severe coughing after I had been on this drug. I was told there are at least 7 drugs in this family. I would appreciate knowing what they are. Thank you.

I am currently taking Verapamil 300mg, lisinopril 20mg and avalide 300mg. Can i take propoxyph darv-n 100 with these meds? ## My perscription is propox/apap 100/650 1 or two tabs every 4 hours as needed. Other meds arel lovastatin, lotrel, hctz with one 325mg aspirin each day. Is this OK with the opiate above? ## I think the primary concern here would be the APAP, which stands for Acetaminophen, being coupled with the Aspirin that you are already taking. These can both result in blood thinning and combining the two could cause stomach irritation and ulcers. Using it in conjunction with the blood pressure meds means that some extra monitoring of your BP and pulse rate should be done, while you are using, since it can cause depression of these bodily cycles, which means you could end up wit...

is 8it safe to shift on this after consuming losartan and hydrochlorothiazide ## Well, I am Indian, living in Maharashtra state. All I wish to know about telmisarton+atorvastatin is:1) Whether it has side effect of E.D.? 2) Is it safe to take 90 ml whisky daily while on this drug?3) Has this any side effect on your memory? ## Telmisartan is used in the management of high blood pressure and Atorvastatin is used to lower cholesterol. I don't see anything listed regarding ED, but medications can affect different people in different ways, so it is hard to know what side effects you may or may not experience, until you actually try the medication. There are also no specific listings in common side effects about memory defects. Alcohol should NOT be consumed when using prescription medica...

HI, I have been taking Metoprolol since July . In the 7 months I have been taking it, they have changed the manufacturer three times. With such severe side effects, I don't care if it is the same pill, the filler is essential to the pill and how your body reacts to the pill. It is really frusterating to me that they keep on changing the manufacturer as they please and just saying it is the same pill. I was pretty upset the last time they changed the manufacturer because I was right in the middle of a big 3 day exam, and that was the last thing I needed. But actually what I noticed, I started to feel 100 percent better when I got on I think it is called TAB. The TAETH I was taking, I don't know what the problem was, but after about 3 months of taking it, I started to get really s...

What are the side effects of Coreg? Has anyone else here taken it? ## I have been taking Coreg for approximately 6 months. I have noticed that my vision has become quite blurry and my eyes are very dry in spite of using Gentel gel frequently. My physicians do not think it is from Coreg but they have no explanation for the change in vision and increased dry eyes. ## Coreg is used mainly to treat congestive heart failure. The most common side effects are: sleep disturbances, dizziness, nightmares and anxiety. You can read more about this medication here: That said, I did check several different resources and there is nothing listed about it causing dry eyes. Have you tried consulting an eye doctor to see if they might be able to narrow down a reason for it? Are you on any other medications?

I need to find a good blood pressure medicine that will not tire and fatigue me or take affect my sex drive/function.. I am female 44 year old..otherwise fit n healthy..please help? Is there one that actually gives you some energy? ## I am by no means an MD, so I cannot say which medication will give your body the most energy. However personally having a lot of knowledge in the nutrition field and living with hypertension for the longest time, I find the best high energy blood pressure medicine per say, are foods that are high in Antioxidants (ORAC). Or a daily shot of Wheat Grass Juice from your local juice bar will significantly have a positive impact on your blood pressure and a full day of energy and focus to boot! If you have already considered these alternatives, I suggest speakin...

For High blood pressure ## Regarding LoVasc; it does help to relieve hypertension. It would be best to consult your MD for precise dosing based on the severeness of the hypertension. I can say from personal experience of dealing with high blood pressure that the best way to control it is by eating low sodium foods, high in magnesium and potassium. Also a lower intake of grains in your diet will decrease the need for an alternative pill. Please post back if you have any questions or information to add, and I will help you.

I received a different manufacturers pill and it is different. Last time it was a dusty rose pill that was quite small with a point on either end. This new batch is a triangular white pill with 3759 on one side and a 1 on the other. Does this sound correct? ## From our records I was able to locate that your pill 3759-I is Lisinopril 10 mg. A lot of times the manufacturers change their pill forms. Also the change of pills can mean a change in miligrams. Do you have any more questions or concerns? Please post back if you do.

When I opened my bottle for my blood pressure medicine, the pills were yellow with an A on one side and the number 24 on the other. My medicine is Lisinopril, which is usually a pink pill with 30 on one side and LUPIN on the other side. This bottle I just opened was the 2nd half of an RX I picked up because they didn't have enough pills the day the RX was filled, so it was only 20 pills and I never looked at them right away untill I finished the first bottle. The pharmisit couldn't identify by my description over the phone.
