I have been taking Sandoz lisinopril 40mg oval pink pill for many years imprinted with E104 and my BP has been stable. Now the pharmacy changed it to the round lisinopril 40mg pink pill imprinted with same E104. My blood pressure is not being maintained now it fluctuates all over the place. I take it daily. Are there different fillers or inactive ingredients that is not agreeing with my system? I am a registered nurse so I know this is not the norm. ## Hello, Veletta! How are you? Actually, fluctuations are normal and you should see them, especially if you have caffeine, engage in physical activity or etc. For instance, if you're working and on your feet all day, it should be slightly higher than it is later, when you're home and at rest. I have been taking the Sandoz version of valsartan/hctz (80/12.5) for YEARS with no problems. Recently, my pharmacy switched to the Aurobindo version. I feel like it's doing nothing (or little). I thought that the bioequivalency for generics was mandated by law. Did I get counterfeit drugs at Rite-Aid? Nevertheless, the pharmacy was skeptical but accommodating. They faxed over the request to my incredible GP whose office responded within the hour. I can now pick up my Sandoz version again. Anybody else have a similar experience? ## Hello, Kenny! How are you? Did you just feel like it wasn't working, or did you actually check your heart rate and blood pressure to find out? Generics do have to be bioequivalent. But without actually checking, after taking it for a few days, there...

Clonidine is most commonly known for its use in treating high blood pressure. However, certain formulations can also reportedly treat ADHD and cancer pain. According to MedlinePlus.gov, Clonidine treats high blood pressure by decreasing your heart rate and relaxing the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body. They go on to state that Clonidine extended-release tablets may treat ADHD by affecting the part of the brain that controls attention and impulsivity. Labeler:...
Can metoprolol 100 cause ear pain ## Hi Roy, Metoprolol doesn't appear to list any adverse effects associated with ear pain in particular. However I have noticed a number of reports from users taking this medication who experienced what they call a "pulsating/ringing/buzzing" sound in the ear. That said, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it does cause ear pain in some patients as a result of this low/high pitch frequency. If it has become too bothersome or severe, I would just suggest contacting your doctor and/or reporting it to the FDA's MedWatch (Adverse events) program online at fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch. Do you think the ear ache could possibly be related to something else as well? Or does it only happen when you take this medication? ## I have been on metoprolol ...
