Round, Lt Green, large letter M on one side, L 26 on other side. New prescription, does not seem to work! ## Pill Image It is Lisinopril 40mgs. However, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in their Bioequivelence, by as much as plus or minus 20%, so that gives them a leeway of 40% to screw them up. Poor quality control at a manufacturing facility means poorly made pills and the consumer has to suffer. ## white round pill letter M on one side and L24 on the other mfg mylan ## Mylan 20 mg yellow with Markings " M " on one side and " L 25 " on the other do not work for my wife. I have 90 pills of 5/6.25 Ziac tabs. I have a new scrip for 10/6.25 Ziac. My question is can I take two 5/6.25 ziac in place of 1one 10/6.25 ziac until my old scrip is used up?Thanks ## You would be doubling up on the Bisoprolol, which may cause problems, such as severe lowering of your heart rate and hypotension. Learn more Ziac details here. And conversely, it you stop taking this dosage abruptly to try to go back down to the regular dose, you may experience a rebound effect, which might elevate your heart rate and blood pressure. Have you consulted your doctor about doing this? It really would be best if you just switch to the new dosage.

out of atenolol, my dr will not return til next Wednesday, can I take Hydrochlorot 12.5 mg? ## They are not interchangeable medications, since the Atenolol is a beta blocker and the Hudrochlorothiazide is a diuretic. Are Toprol Xl 50 Tablets From 2006-2008 Still Good To Use? They are in unsealed bottles. ## Once a medication such as this is past its expiration date, which would have been a year from when they were dispensed, or the bottles were unsealed, they start to lose effectiveness, so it is unlikely that they will be worth taking after this long of a time period. Learn more Toprol details here. They should be properly disposed of and a new prescription obtained, if you require this medication. Are there any other questions?

All i keep hearing is people are dependant on pain meds etc.....but we are all dependant on some pill to work once in awhile or everyday, so why is everyone so hard on one set of people and not the other? ## There is a distinct different between being dependent and being addicted. Regardless of what they are taking it for, be it hypertension, a heart condition, pain or etc. Anyone that takes anything for a long period of time will become dependent on it and can suffer some rebound and withdrawal effects, if it is stopped suddenly. However, addiction occurs when someone abuses a medication, such as a narcotic, but taking more and more of it all the time, rather than just taking the prescribed amounts to handle their condition. I think many of the problems arise when people don't unde...

WHAT DOES THIS DRUG DO? WHAT IS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE? ## Hi Carolyn, Amlodipine is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and chest pain (angina). I got a new prescprition for verapamil ER 240 mg fillrd today and it looks completely different then i am used to. These are a dark green capsule with mylan 6440 printed on the capsule. I am use to a long pink/brown pill. Did i get the right medicine? ## Yes, the capsule you received also contains 240mgs of Verapamil in an extended release formulation. Verapamil is a generic medication, so it is actually manufactured by several different companies and it is normal for a pharmacy to switch which one they provide, depending on which company was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock. This is how they keep prices down for customers that don't have insurance. Learn more Verapamil details here. Are there any other questions?
