Bisoprolol/hctz

I have 90 pills of 5/6.25 Ziac tabs. I have a new scrip for 10/6.25 Ziac. My question is can I take two 5/6.25 ziac in place of 1one 10/6.25 ziac until my old scrip is used up?Thanks

You would be doubling up on the Bisoprolol, which may cause problems, such as severe lowering of your heart rate and hypotension.

And conversely, it you stop taking this dosage abruptly to try to go back down to the regular dose, you may experience a rebound effect, which might elevate your heart rate and blood pressure.

Have you consulted your doctor about doing this?

It really would be best if you just switch to the new dosage.
