have been on toprol xl (non Generic) for 11 yrs., presc. coverage changed, size of pills discontinued, etc, took metoprolol succ er for 1 month, with no side effects. Taking metoprolol TAB TAR for 8 wks, last four wks, EXTREMELY FATIGUED, some heart palps, just not right, Cardio. wants me to stop taking completely despite all warings not to do that, and without prescribing anything different. I have been taking Atenol for blood preasure, I have been having issues with erections and maintaining them. the Doctor changed my medication to Lasartan and stated I should see an improvement. Has anyone had this issue while taking Atenol and did it improve with the use of Larsartan ## Erectile dysfunction can be a problem with virtually all blood pressure/cardiac medications. It may improve with the Losartan, but the only way to find out is to try it and see. If it doesn't improve after you've been on it for about a month, then you may have to try something else. You can learn more Losartan details here. It's really a matter of trial and error to find one that works well for you, without causing problematic side effects like this. You can garner more Propranolol details here. Is that possibly what it is? Where did you find it?

I am taking Listril-SM tab one in the morning and Tenoric-50 one at night. I have now been advised to take Telma-AM-H-80 one per day. I had previously tried Telma-40 and subsequently Telma-H as per Doctor's advise but it failed to maintain my blood pressure. Should the new medicine will be of any use ? ## There are differences in these medications. The original Telma only contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, the Telma-H contained that, with the addition of Hydrochlorothiazide. The Telma-AM-H combines both of those ingredients, with Amlodipine, so yes, it could give you better blood pressure control, but the only way to know is to follow your doctors instructions and try it. Updated in BystolicDoes anyone know which of the two (Sotolol and Bisoprolol) is less likely to cause side effects such as "numbness and tingling in arms and legs and cold feet" and "excess sweating"? I am 72 years old and had a quad heart bipass 10 weeks ago. On the other hand, which of the two would be more appropriate. ## Based on my observation of each drug's side-effect profile, I would think that "Sotalol" is less likely to cause such symptoms. You can compare the two side-effect profiles using the links below: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a693010.html#side-effects nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a693024.html#side-effects Regarding which one might be more appropriate, would largely depend on your reasoning for taking either of them in the first place, as th...

My insurance has been taken away because my dad wins $10,000 more than he should. Can I get these somewhere else, I don't have anywhere to go and I'm afraid... ## The only difference between the two tablets is the manufacturer. Your tablets are made by EON Labs and you dad's are made by Lupin Pharmaceuticals, otherwise they are the exact same m...
what would be natural ways to control bp- ## What are you current blood pressure levels? They need to be taken into account, because if it's too high, then you should use the medication(s) your doctor wants you to take to bring it down as fast as possible. They can always be adjusted later, if you use natural remedies that are successful and it starts getting a bit too low. And I want to stress that it is very important that you not stop any such medications, without your doctors approval. Stopping them abruptly causes the risk of your developing rebound hypertension, which can result in dangerously elevated blood pressure and heart rate. My cardio nurse practitioner is a big advocate of natural remedies and always tells me to try them, if they lower it too much, she'd rather we...
