I am 50, been taking vamlo 5mg for the last 2 years..I tried not to take daily due to avoid any side effect. I took every 2 days..if I missed then the blood pressure will rise. I have been taking losartan for approximately a year and a half. I have found a very wide variation from month to month in the performance of this generic. The Teva losartan made me so ill that I had to be hospitalized. I recovered practically overnight after going on the hospital's losartan. Since then I have been on a losartan made by Aurobindo. I am going to request that my pharmacist find another company because I find that my blood pressure varies with each new bottle of pills. Not good. Do you mean you came off it cold turkey, without replacing it with another medication? That can be very dangerous. How high is your heart rate? Have you checked your blood pressure? Depending on how long you were on it, it could take a week or two, before things settle back out. I am a 51 year male.I am advised to use Asomex-D from 2007 for treatmeny of high BP. from 2005 I am taking medicines for High BP. barring 1-2 incidents in this period my blood pressure has been normal I am getting checked it at least in 2-3 months time. I have got ECG at least 6-7 times in this period and also tredmill test all have been normal. Doctors say I shouldnot stop taking Asomex -d tablets. First they were pink now white. Hate to saythis bit I ran out for a while do to money and insurance and took my moms because u r not supposed to stop cold turkey. Which were pink My arms started hurting, felt bruised or like I worked out which I didn't but back to the white and arms are feeling better. Oh and also have a hard time breathing. This is a generic, so it's being manufactured by several different companies, so if the colors were different, it was probably two different manufacturers. Are you sure they were the same medication and the same dosage, though?

And can I take propranolol on an empty stomach? The reason I've not asked my doc these is that I never got a chance to, with all the panicing and now I can't contact one till tomorrow due to having no minutes. ## Hello, Chanika! How are you?
