How are you? What side effects are you having? Its most common ones include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. There are other medications you can try and your doctor should be able to prescribe an alternative. However, most side effects do wear off, after about 4 weeks or so, once your body gets used to the medication. How long have you been taking it? ## hello and thank you for responding i have been taking lopressor for two weeks thanks for the feedback i will try a little longer taking it.

Updated in AmlodipineI started with losartan 50 mg as advised by specialist in military hospital two months back. I was very normal after I started with it. Today I was given another set of tablets of same composition but with different packing and brand name .half an hour I had medicine I started feeling uneasiness and anxiety accompanied by heavy head ,drowsiness. Is it because of medicinal brand name change.
Updated in LosartanI.V BEEN TAKING NOTEN 50 MG FOR NEARLY 10 YEARS BUT MY BLOOD PRESSURE STILL HIGH 150/90. NOW MY DOCTOR ASK ME TO TAKE COVERAM 5MG. CAN I TAKE NOTEN AND COVERAM TOGHETER? ALSO ANY EFFECT FROM ALCOHOL AS I DRINK 3 SHOT OF SCOTCH EVERY NIGHT ## Hello, Sakhr! How are you? Yes, you can take both of these medications, at once. Such medications are often combined, when someone has treatment resistant high blood pressure. Side effects may include nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, hypotension, dry cough and stomach pain. And yes, alcohol can be cardiotoxic, so it could be contributing to your problem and could also worsen the side effects of the medication. Are there any other questions or concerns?

If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## Big Oval white pill that says PL 469. I want to know what it is.
I noticed today when changing my dressing, an odor from my cathater site.also on used dressing. I've been on and off using antibiotic powder for summer months when it's over 100 degrees. Does that smell always indicate infection? ## What are you using the antibiotic powder for? What type of odor? Some antibiotics can cause a sulfur-like smell to your urine. Have you consulted your doctor?
Is this the same as the metoprolol that's the white pill? Just renewed script and got pink pills with different number imprinted on it, from what I had before. ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? Can you please double check and post back? That is what would enable me to check for you. Thanks! Metoprolol is a beta blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypotension.
Can I take both of these together? The doctor gave me the lisinopril 10 mg to start taking. I was taking OTC fastin ( phenylethylamine hci) as a weight loss pill. Please advise ## Hello, Caroline! How are you? Did you tell your doctor that you were taking the Phenylethylamine? It is a stimulant, so it may cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate and if you do have high blood pressure, then no, it is not safe for you to take it. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor that's used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure, its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. ## SWIM told me that Phenylethylamine HCL (PEA) that looks like shavings of something white is good for pain. Then I heard it may be bath salts and people take it to feel high. What is it for...
Can u take tramadol hct 50mg with lisinopril hctz 12.5 mg ## Hello, Patches! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these medications, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. Tramadol is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am arguing with the Dr, Ins Co, and Pharmacy... Apparently none of them have enough brains together to understand simple math nor a calendar. The situation... My dad is on nine different medications. Seven of them he takes once a day. The other two he takes twice a day. The doctor will only write prescriptions for 30 per month for the once daily and 60 per month for the twice daily. My dad suffers from blood pressure & heart trouble, diabetes, depression and a history of TIA's & a stroke. He was in a long term care/rehab facility for about a year and they always made sure he had his meds. He was discharged from the facility on Dec 31, 2013 and they gave us medicine to get him through the next two days (Jan 1 & 2, 2014). I had his prescriptions filled on Jan 2. He start...
72 kg male. my blood pressure is 140/96 continuous as i am 38 years old .from doctor opinion i take one tablet per day after morning breakfast from last 4 year .please advise me. as i am defense service now and then doctor change. more point i add by birth i have only one kidney, but all normal (frequent check up done).please suggest me, i am too much worried about my future health. ## Hello, Shailendra! How are you? Your future health would be far more at risk, if you let your blood pressure remain out of control. That creates the risk of heart attack, stroke and congestive heart failure. However, is your blood pressure still staying at 140/96? If so, you may need a higher dose or a different medication.
I am 57 yrs.old. suffering from Bp. Earlier taking Amlobg A for 4 yrs. Which might cause severe ED. Dr. changed it to Nebicard 2.5 daily which I am taking for the last 6 months. Also taking Glycomet 1 g. Though there is no relief for ED. From 1 week, even nebicard 2.5 not working. BP remain 145/95 even after taking medicine. Pl. Advise what to do. ## Do you also watch what you eat? High amounts of sodium can cause blood pressure elevation. You also need to make sure to get lots of exercise. You may need to try a different medication, or a higher dose. The ED could also be caused by your diabetes, it may not be solely due to your blood pressure medication. Diabetes causes it very frequently in men. ## I am taking nebicard5mgand Paradoxa 300 daily. L&T 3 years.now I have serious ED pr...
Lopressor 25mg I have been on Lopressor 25mg for about 6 months, prescribed by my cardiologist for irregular heart beat and palpitations. I take it right before bed with a glass of water. More nights than not I wake up many time thru the night and lately I have been having trouble falling asleep. My heart beats irregularly when I lay down but if I get up and sit in a chair all is well. I would like to change the time I take the pill from night to morning. Is it safe to skip my nighttime dose and take it the next morning instead? Thanks in advance for your help. ## Hello, Harvey! How are you? I would suggest checking with your doctor, before making a change. It sounds like this medication just isn't lasting you a full 24 hours, so something needs adjusted. Were you originally instruc...
Has Veletri helped others? Looking for any feedback or reviews from personal experience. ## Hello, Faye! How are you? Of course it has, or it wouldn't be FDA approved. I am a Type II patient with sugar 140/104, HbAic 5.5% Creatinine level 2.0 BP with medicine 142/76. I n the internet it is indicated that "Moxonidine should be avoided in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment". By taking these medicines I am passing more urine in the night. Please advise me regarding my BP medicines.
Updated in Minipressam 35 year old suffering from high blood pressure 160/90 taking telmesartan 20 from last one month. is it the right medicine at this age. Facing frequent urination at night. ## Hi VK, THE medicine doesn't have that much to do with your age, it's has to do with your illness, or in your case BP. THIS IS REALLY A MATTER TO TALK WITH YOUR DOCTOR. IF YOUR having weird side effects that you don't like, tell him, some people react to different brands, maybe u just need to try a different manufacturers of NO meds. Dry mouth and heavy urination is common with BP MEDS. If you are overweight, just dropping your weight and watching your sodium ( salt) intake. Any food that r promenade, are going to be high in salt. Start walking that helps too. Sorry you have to with this, you r pretty ...
Dr prescribed one at night for peacful sleep and to avoid wrong thoughts. i am having high blood pressure and taking REPACE AF in the morning and concore 5 in the evening. Please advise. ## @Pritesh, From what I could gather, high blood pressure in and of itself is not specifically listed as a side effect of Clonotril (clonazepam). In fact, low blood pressure is what's actually recognized as being a rare side effect according to the following drug monograph by: stanford.edu/medications/clonazepam.html. However I do see a number of different symptoms listed on there that IMHO could provoke increases in one's blood pressure (such as agitation, nervousness, anxiety, as well as a few others). Is your Dr. also aware of this problem?
I have been informed by my pharmacy that their manufacturer has discontinued the white pill and have gone solely with the blue pill. (Teva Mfg. I believe). I have an allergy to dyes in pills and can only take white. Walgreens (my pharmacy) directed me to try CVS or Walmart, but neither one has white. I like verapamil tablets and would prefer not to change. Any ideas? ## Hello, Jan! How are you? Unfortunately, I'm not finding any others in that dosage of the ER that are white. Do you have any large hospitals or a compounding pharmacy near you? They may be able to create it for you in clear capsules, to avoid the dye problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Yes, this medication is most commonly used to help treat high blood pressure. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, increased urination and dehydration. And yes, this is a standard dose and it is okay to take, if your doctor has instructed you to do so. Is there anything else I can help with?
