calaptin tablet used to treat ## my daughter is being treated with the drug calaptin alongwith medication for seizures. she is twelve. of late she has complained of feeling low and bursts into tears for no reason. does thedrug induce such symptoms? she has been on it for the last 2 years for a fast heartbeat sometimes. ## i have palpitation at times whenever i laugh a lot. one of the doctors of Delhi prescribed me calaptin to use on sos basis,but one of the chandigarh doctor told me not to use it as it is not good for health.pls advise me ## I am using Calaptin since last 21 years for hypertension. It also controlled my palpitation. I am perfectly alright.

I have been on bisoprolol for several months to control AFIB and hypertension. However, I do have asthma and have started wheezing and it does not go away. Metopolol did not work as well for the Afib. Is there another medication for the afib and blood pressure that would not cause the wheezing? ## Hello, Sani! How are you? Some of the other medications you can try include Carvedilol, Atenolol, Propranolol and Nadolol, however, they all risk causing the same side effects. It's really just a matter of trial and error to find which one works for you, without making you miserable. I have been taking brand name Avapro for years, but now that it has gone generic Theexpense has become astronomical. Thinking about going generic ...however worried about side effects. Any generic version I should be aware of? I have a round pill with 113 on the front and HH on the reverse. The numbers 113 are written in an arc across the top of the pill. I have been taking verapamil 120 sr for many years. New dr changed to verapamil 120 no sr. I seem to be having headaches since. Since moving from Lotrel brand to generic, it seems that my loved one's BP fluctuates, and those fluctuations include more high readings. On some days, BP systolic is in 120s, but other days in the 150s, about the same as no medication at all. Is it possible that the generic Lotrel has unreliable dosage? ## First of all, blood pressure numbers will always fluctuate. You will never check it and see consistent steady numbers. Second, is the person eating properly, a health, low-fat, low-sodium diet and getting plenty of proper exercise? Both are required to help maintain healthy blood pressure levels. My blood pressure has been running low the past days. Today average is 107/70. Will I still take the losartan? I also am being treated for anxiety. I have been taking Enace D 10 for the past decade. My pressure is normal. I have been prescribed Losakind H now. Is it similar? I find that the composition is different. Would it have the same effect is the question in my mind. Have not yet started taking it. ## Enace-D contains the active ingredients Enalapril and Hydrochlorothiazide. Losakind-H contains Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. I take 5mp Amlodipine for high blood pressure. Also take plavix and simvastatin. I suffer terribly from excessive sweating from my head (like a tap turned on) and notice this can be a side effect of Amlodipine. Is there any alternative drug I can take?

Have been had specialist call 911 on me try to send me to hospital my blood presure was so high. I had already told nurse my blood pressure will be high i am being left in inhumane pain again. No one even wants to look at med.records from University of Md. John Hopkins that i am at the end of my life. There is no thearpy any more i cant have any more surgeries becuse i still have gangreene in my stomach. 8 surgeries just kept causing more infection. No one will operate on me nor will it save me.

I was using Pharma press for +- 10 years and then Pharma co for 6 months. I started to get muscle weakness around my knees then the one arm now the other arm. Constant pain in my kidneys and bladder. Dear Dr. I have a bad neck condition: p had a fusion and prosthesis implanted above the fusion. The prosthesis has "collapsed" causing pain. I'm on Nuzak 40mg mornings plus E|pitec 10mg at night.
