Verapamil Or Verapamil Sr
UpdatedI have been taking verapamil 120 sr for many years. New dr changed to verapamil 120 no sr. I seem to be having headaches since. Could the change be making a difference with side effects?

Hello, Yammie! How are you?
Yes, it you are taking the regular release now, that could cause more side effects, because all of the medication is released at once, rather than slowly over a period of hours.
Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness and hypotension.
Have you informed your doctor? They should be able to switch you back to the SR.
