A small round pink/light red pill with an italic capital S on one side and the number 62 on the other side. The pill is a chalky white on the inside and the coating scratches away. I'm thinking it may be some sort of painkiller? ## It is not listed in any of our prescription drug resources. While there is a chance that it is a very new tablet, it makes me suspect that it may be something available over the counter. There is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication. Can you provide anymore information? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## It's a birth control pill called Seasonal (Levonorgestrel - ethinyl estradiol) ## No don't worry like that it's only a contraceptive pill!!

I'm on my white pills of Necon 1 35 right now and still no period. What does that mean? Should I be worried? ## It is normal for your body to still skip or be late, sometimes, even when using birth control. There is a very slight possibility that you could be pregnant, but if you have used them as directed, then it is not very likely. Are there any comments or questions?

I had incurred stage 2 breast cancer because of taking Femhrt!! I would like to know what recourse I have??? ## I was diagnosed with stage 1-2 triple negative breast cancer and the first thing my doctor told me was to stop the Femhrt. I would like to know if I have any recourse? ## I am 51. I took the pill (Loestrin) to regulate my periods during perimenopause, and now that I'm thru it my doctor has put me on Femhrt. My doctor (as well as others I solicited advice from) ALL insisted that the benefits of Femhrt far outway the risks. I am so scared about the risks though. My symtpoms are things I can live with, but I am taking the Femhrt now (have for about 6 months) because my doctor i so insistant about its benefits. Being on Yasmin was the worst 6 months of my life!! I've read a lot of forums where people have attributed hair loss, acne, leg pain, fatigue, blurred vision, irregular periods, depression, moodiness and weight gain to the pill. Now there's also a lawsuit because, amoung other things, Yasmin is being found to cause blood clots, stroke, pulmonary embolisms and premature death. i take my pills every day but i sometimes take them at different times of the day because i almost forget. can you have a risk of getting pregnant by mixing up the times of taking the pill with sprintec? ## Not unless you would miss a full 24 hours. If you are just off by a few hours, you'll be fine. The reason they tell you to take it at the same time every day is so that you get in the habit of doing that, to help you not miss any pills. I've been on Loestrin 24 for 8 months now. And everything has been fine and has worked for me. It made my periods much, much, much lighter; while my acne has cleared up entirely. However my boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke! So now I am scared that the birth control won't protect me from becoming pregnant. My period should be here from today-to 2 days. I feel like it's going to start by the way my body is acting. But I feel like I'm stressing myself out. So maybe it won't show up or whatever. I'm 53, post menopausal and my hormone levels were checked and all very, very low - I've been taking bio-identical hormones (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone) since July but today my dr put me on Angeliq. Wondering what others think? ## My doctor just gave me angeliq also. I notice it decreases testosterone...yuk! I like testos. Any comments? ## My circumstances are very similar to yours and I was also put onto Angelic. My body also seemed not to absorb that !! I was just prescribed Ortho Cyclen and my doctor told me to start taking as soon as possible so I took that as in now. So i started taking it on Thursday. It was not the first day of my period, or Sunday obviously. Is there a reason they tell you to start the pack on one of those days? Did I screw up by starting it on a random day? What should I do? ## No, it is fine to start it either way. The reason the instructions with the pill tell you to start it the first day of your menstrual cycle is to try to avoid disrupting your cycle. i started taking loesstrin 24 last sunday. this is my first time on birth control &i take it for my heavy periods. i went away for the weekend & didnt take the pills with me. should i double up or just take them on schedule? ## If you did not take your pill for more than 2 days in a row you should just throw away the pack and start a new one after your next period.

i have been prescribed Dronis 20 tablet by doctor.and i am taking this tablet regularly after dinner.i am married so i want to know that is Dronis 20 an contraceptive pill and it prevents unwanted pregnancy or should i have to take contraceptive pills for prevent pregnancy.. please reply . ## It prevents getting pregnant also. Make sure you would take it on the first day of his periods only.
