The pill is a chalky white on the inside and the coating scratches away. I'm thinking it may be some sort of painkiller? ## It is not listed in any of our prescription drug resources. While there is a chance that it is a very new tablet, it makes me suspect that it may be something available over the counter. There is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication. Can you provide anymore information? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## It's a birth control pill called Seasonal (Levonorgestrel - ethinyl estradiol) ## No don't worry like that it's only a contraceptive pill!!
I'm on my white pills of Necon 1 35 right now and still no period. What does that mean? Should I be worried? ## It is normal for your body to still skip or be late, sometimes, even when using birth control. There is a very slight possibility that you could be pregnant, but if you have used them as directed, then it is not very likely. Are there any comments or questions?
White small round pill with wpi on one side and 524 on the other ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be called Trinessa; which is a combination of Ethinyl Estradiol (0.035 mg) + Norgestimate (0.180 mg), that is an orally bio-active estrogen used in almost all modern formulations of combined oral contraceptive pills (the Pill). You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you.
I had incurred stage 2 breast cancer because of taking Femhrt!! I would like to know what recourse I have??? ## I was diagnosed with stage 1-2 triple negative breast cancer and the first thing my doctor told me was to stop the Femhrt. I would like to know if I have any recourse? ## I am 51. I took the pill (Loestrin) to regulate my periods during perimenopause, and now that I'm thru it my doctor has put me on Femhrt. My doctor (as well as others I solicited advice from) ALL insisted that the benefits of Femhrt far outway the risks. I am so scared about the risks though. My symtpoms are things I can live with, but I am taking the Femhrt now (have for about 6 months) because my doctor i so insistant about its benefits. I am very interested in your input on this matter. God bless you. ...
Being on Yasmin was the worst 6 months of my life!! I've read a lot of forums where people have attributed hair loss, acne, leg pain, fatigue, blurred vision, irregular periods, depression, moodiness and weight gain to the pill. Now there's also a lawsuit because, amoung other things, Yasmin is being found to cause blood clots, stroke, pulmonary embolisms and premature death. I haven’t been on yasmin for a while so I don’t remember many of my symptoms, maybe I didn't know what to look for at the time and didn't notice or think it was the drug was causing side effects. What I did get was OUTRAGEOUSLY depressed and moody. Every time I had a drink with friends I ended up crying because I simply could not control my emotions. Each time t...
Updated in Yasmini take my pills every day but i sometimes take them at different times of the day because i almost forget. can you have a risk of getting pregnant by mixing up the times of taking the pill with sprintec? ## Not unless you would miss a full 24 hours. If you are just off by a few hours, you'll be fine. The reason they tell you to take it at the same time every day is so that you get in the habit of doing that, to help you not miss any pills. Are there any questions or comments?
I've been on Loestrin 24 for 8 months now. And everything has been fine and has worked for me. It made my periods much, much, much lighter; while my acne has cleared up entirely. However my boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke! So now I am scared that the birth control won't protect me from becoming pregnant. My period should be here from today-to 2 days. I feel like it's going to start by the way my body is acting. But I feel like I'm stressing myself out. So maybe it won't show up or whatever. Any ideas? :( ## Yes, you are stressing yourself out and probably needlessly. If you were taking the birth control tablets every day, without missing any, like you are supposed to, then there is less than a 1% failure rate for oral contraceptives. The only way...
small white pill, Watson on one side and 996 or 966 on the other ## Found a match with WATSON 966, which is Levonorgestrel 0.15 mg and Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03 mg. These two drugs combined are used to reduce or eliminate the withdrawal bleeding that occurs once every 28 days in traditionally packaged COCPs. Extended cycle use of COCPs may also be called menstrual suppression. To learn more click on the link below... Do you have any more questions or information to add? I'm 53, post menopausal and my hormone levels were checked and all very, very low - I've been taking bio-identical hormones (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone) since July but today my dr put me on Angeliq. Wondering what others think? ## My doctor just gave me angeliq also. I notice it decreases testosterone...yuk! I like testos. Any comments? ## My circumstances are very similar to yours and I was also put onto Angelic. My body also seemed not to absorb that !! I do not know what the next step is as I really want some form of Estrogen. Please let me know if you find something better
Does Fruta Planta decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills? I'm taking Junel 1/20. ## Fruta Planta is an herbal supplement, that means that it isn't tested to see if it has an effect or interaction with other medications. The listed ingredients are: fruit lemon, fruit gum, bitter gourd, Papaya, benefit fruit and spiral. You should also be informed that the FDA has found it to contain an unlisted drug ingredient, Sibutramine and has banned it being sold and used in the U.S. There is no miracle weight loss product on the market and even the ones that do help, such as prescription medications, only do so much and you cannot keep taking them, forever, to keep the weight off. If you are concerned about losing weight, you should talk to your doctor and follow a proper diet an...
I was just prescribed Ortho Cyclen and my doctor told me to start taking as soon as possible so I took that as in now. So i started taking it on Thursday. It was not the first day of my period, or Sunday obviously. Is there a reason they tell you to start the pack on one of those days? Did I screw up by starting it on a random day? What should I do? ## No, it is fine to start it either way. The reason the instructions with the pill tell you to start it the first day of your menstrual cycle is to try to avoid disrupting your cycle. Since you started it immediately, as per your doctor's instructions, all this means is that there will be a shorter period of time between this cycle and the next one, after that the time frame will be regular, again, as long as you continue taking it. Are...
i started taking loesstrin 24 last sunday. this is my first time on birth control &i take it for my heavy periods. i went away for the weekend & didnt take the pills with me. should i double up or just take them on schedule? ## If you did not take your pill for more than 2 days in a row you should just throw away the pack and start a new one after your next period.
so i've been on sprintec for about 9 months. and with this last pack, i missed an entire week of takeing them because i didn't get a chance to refill my perscription for them. so when i got them, i started taking them the sunday after i was saposed to start them...i've been taking them regularly since then, but i expected to start my period the last week of the blue pills!! i just took my first white pill last night, and still no period!! am i pregnant? or is my period just waiting for the white pills to get in my system? should i take a test or wait till all the white pills are gone? ## It sounds like your body is readjusting to sprintec, since you missed a week. Something similar happened to a friend of mine, and she missed a period for a month. After the medication adjust...

LIst of generic name oral contraceptives ## There are many of these on the market, rather than selling them under the names of the hormonal ingredients, most companies just give them their own trade names, even though they are generics and generic priced. There are so many on the market, that I could not possibly provide you with a list of all of them. Some include products such as: Aless Tri-Phasal OvoPlex Apri and many others. Is there a particular class or group of ingredients you are looking for?

round ,blue pill 022 ## I found a little round blue pill imprinted with 022. Does anyone know what it is?? ## I found the same thing. I'm hesitant to post what I GUESS it might be. if anyone else knows for sure, that would be better! ## I found out for sure. It's the half dose pill in a pack of Mircette/Kariva birth control pills. cool. I knew it looked super familiar, thank goodness I just started that part of my pack! haha!
I having been takin tri spintec for 3 years and after my husband has been 'fixed i no longer need it: so my question is, will i experience any side effects because of not taking this anymore ## Yes, you can experience some minor effects, because your body will have to readjust to not having the hormones. This could include some nausea, weight fluctuations and acne. It will not last for too long, however, usually a month or so, at most. Do you have any other questions?
