Where's My Period????

so i've been on sprintec for about 9 months. and with this last pack, i missed an entire week of takeing them because i didn't get a chance to refill my perscription for them. so when i got them, i started taking them the sunday after i was saposed to start them...i've been taking them regularly since then, but i expected to start my period the last week of the blue pills!! i just took my first white pill last night, and still no period!! am i pregnant? or is my period just waiting for the white pills to get in my system? should i take a test or wait till all the white pills are gone?

It sounds like your body is readjusting to sprintec, since you missed a week. Something similar happened to a friend of mine, and she missed a period for a month. After the medication adjusted to her body, she got her period. If you feel concerned I would speak to your doctor, or take a pregnancy test.

I take the same thing. Usually when my pack is finished my period don't come until a Tues. weds.at the latest on Thursday and this month it came on a early Friday morning. Yes the whole week i was worried that i may be pregnant, however it came like i said on that Friday. I have been taking them for several years now and mine has never came the very next day after taking my pack. mine always comes 2 or 3 days after my pack is finished. I like you start taking mine on Sunday's as well . Sometimes stress can have to do with you not starting your period on time. Now I just got my refill today so I am going to go ahead and wait until Sunday to start them again like you did. It really does not have much to do with your body getting adjusted to them again because you only missed a week of them so they are still in your system . There are many reasons why you may have been late. Like i said mine never comes the day after I am finished with the pack it usually comes 2 or 3 days later. Again stress can sometimes keep you from starting on time. Now i am going to see how I do with not taking mine for a week Due to my dr. not being in until today...I would start them tomorrow but i am going to wait it out until Sunday so that i will stay on schedule. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask me . I have been taking them for at least 8 years now. Our bodies being women and having our woman hormones , our bodies and hormones are constantly changing ! The younger you are and the older you get. Don't sweat it if your period does not come as soon as ur pack is finished...if Your period does not come after you have been off of them for at least a week THEN you should start to worry that u may be pregnant or have other health conditions. The more you worry the more stressed you get and that will slow the process of your monthly...I have been a month without having one back when i was in high school which has been many years ago ...it was all due to stress !...talk about being scared because i was not on any type of birth control then. I am 30 now. So I try to not stress so much when it is close to my period. Though PMS is rough !

Do you mean Naltrexone? If so Naltrexone is used primarily in the management of alcohol dependence and opioid dependence.

I have a question..I am taking Sprintec and i have only been taking it for 3 months..but the question is.. Can you have too much sex while taking oral birth control, with no other birth control..ie condoms or such? Cause me and my fiance like to have sex and we both work alot and on our days off we take advantage of the time together...

My period hasn't came for almost one and a half month. When I bought the pregnancy check equipment it shows positive.i went for a pregnancy check up in hospital.doctor gave me 4 pills to take for two nights. And I still haven't got my period ,its almost ten days now. What happen?

I missed my period for about 1 week, so it supposed to have it last Dec 18, i tested home test, and it result positve...But me and my boyfriend are not ready to have a child, Is there any pills that can have my period come?PLease i need a help.

There ways to prevent pregnancy, but typically you need to do it the day after your contraceptive fails. From what I was able to gather, there is no pill to start your period if you are already pregnant. If you and your boyfriend are not ready to start a family, I would consider the alternative.

I got my period last Dec. 15, 2009 and up to now i don't have my period yet, what should i do, i don't want to get pregnat, because my younger daughter is still 9 months old. pls. help me!!!

I have been taking Tri-Sprintec since September and then switched to Sprintec in April. My period always came a few days early, like 3-4 days before the end of the pack or before I started the white pills. This month though, I have finished all of my pills and it still hasn't started. I will take my first white pill tonight. I don't know if I am just used to the Sprintec finally (my Dr. prescribed sprintec because tri-S was too irregular and also came early). Am I finally used to sprintec and it is taking awhile or do you think I could be PG?? I hope not.... :(
